POCUS: Misdiagnosis of Pneumothorax

Resuscitation of trauma patients includes diagnostic and therapeutic intervention in timely manner.
Recognition of emergent pathologies in trauma is essential and bedside ultrasound can be integral in making the diagnosis.
In this case we will review a misdiagnosis of a pneumothorax by clinical ultrasound and will talk about the pitfalls that can lead to this misdiagnosis and how to avoid them.
