It will be exciting to see three of the young Indian talents (Gukesh, Pragg and Arjun) going all out against Magnus Carlsen at the Superbet Rapid and Blitz - the Warsaw leg of Grand Chess Tour. It will be 3 days of Rapid followed by 2 days of Blitz! They will be fighting for the total prize pool of US$175,000 and the top prize of US$40,000. Apart from Magnus and Indian youngsters we also have two world class youngsters from Uzbekistan and Germany - Nodirbek Abdusattorov and Vincent Keymer. Two world class GMs - Anish Giri and Duda will also be gunning for the top spot.

Who do you think will triumph in 9 rounds of rapid and 18 rounds of blitz? Each game of rapid will count for 2 points while each game of blitz will count for 1 point. The time control in rapid is 25+10 while the time control in blitz is 5+2.

Amruta is way too focused on Indian players, obviously this is chessbase India. But the most exciting part of today was the race between Magnus and wei yi. Obviously you can showcase interesting Indian games. But at the moment when Magnus was tied with Wei yi Amruta asked chat if they want to see Praggs game or Magnus-Vincent, who actually wants to see Pragg at that moment haha, no disrespect. It’s like in a car race: 2 cars race for the first place in a super close race, but suddenly the camera randomly goes the 6th place for example and just films him driving in peace for a few minutes ^^

They have turned it into "we will do whatever the heck we want to, you watch or buzz off". From burping and yawning, i dont mean thats its avoidable, but just the casual ease, being unapologetic about it, shows their PROFESSIONALISM.
