I've noticed recently that you've recognized in one way or another how to get "better" at the game and it's been really fun to watch you challenge yourself. You've become a solid PKer, and you're doing bosses that I think you wouldn't have imagined you could do even a year ago. In a way this video feels like a celebration of that progress. You dont want to use soul reaper spec as soon as you hit 5 stacks, you want to keep the weapon hitting on 5 stacks as much as possible to utilize the damage boost, only spec when you absolutely need the heal.
Congrats! Another great video as always. In regard to dry streaks I am currently rank 224 Vardorvis with 3,264 kc, exactly 3x the drop rate for the axe piece (1/1,088) and still have not gotten it.

I lost my left click finger in a work accident 3 months ago and i havent been able to PVM properly since... Wish i could do DT2 but its so hard relearning how to use your hands.
I think it's really interesting how different people prefer different bosses. Opposite of NoSleep, I struggled with Whisperer but had a super easy time at Duke
exactly, whisperer is 'easier' untill its rage fase. My duke kc is 649 in a few weeks and whisperer is 17 xD i started with whisperer once dt2 was completed :(
im at 1183 kc atm with 6 unique drops; 2 eyes, 3 ingots and one vestige. they roll every 90 kills so im at half drop rate. Means ur also below drop rate. my osrs name is 1love1herb if you want to look up kc, ill keep going untill second vestige and 1 virtus piece@@Juhani96

Gz dude, great content as always. Dont forget you can convert bonds into codes to redeem on your alts without paying to make the bonds tradeable if youre not bothered about redeeming multiple at once
I find it funny how we all struggle with different bosses for our own reasons. I found Duke to be pretty easy after 20ish kills, but I still can't get Whisperer down perfect after many attempts
I got the magus vestige at 1539 and havent gone back to Duke since. I got a virtus robe bottom very early on, at around 24 KC and another at around 900 KC. I got the eye of the duke precisely on rate and I had around 35 orb drops. It was quite a grind, but I'm glad I did it. EDIT; NO PET THOUGH. I havent considered going back for pet, because I dont particularly care for pets. Someday maybe!

I found doing a profitable boss or a chill boss for the first pet makes it way easier to grind. Like kraken or vorkath especially. Vork is a great first pet

It's interesting to me that you struggle with duke, but have the whisperer down after 3 KC... I personally struggle a bit with the whisperer, as there is a lot more variance in what can happen each kill... I also struggle with prayer flicking and integrating movement at the same time. Duke is really just straight foreward... Hit inbetween his melee's move to side for farts, stand behind pillar for eye. I've got nearly 1500 KC on Duke, but only 18 deaths and nearly all of those are from droning on the catwalk part where I don't pay attention to my run energy depleteing and I walk into a red laser lmao. I find Duke to honestly be the easiest solo boss in the game besides Kracken. All that, at the same time, I can't get down Whisperer, Vardorvis, or Leviathan.
I’m the same way. Vardorvis I’m finally starting to learn enough to do 2-3 kills per inventory but it can be so hard and so much variance and chaos. Such a struggle to learn, duke felt soo easy, 1500kc for me recently and about 20 deaths.
You could collect 40 grinded mushrooms and spam them against the Duke for a 5 damage poison splat. Instead of running around for prep. It's one mushroom collection. No pick, no stams. Yet I bring 1
Just did my own 1000KC of duke. I made about 100mill in normal drops. Boosted my mage to 90 and crafted 2 rings both for about 55 mill each. So totally 220 mill gp. Think i got the first 1 at like 450 KC then the other at 560's. Right after I crafted the first one and sold it I got 2nd one and crafted it and sold it. Think Virtus head piece was at 600ish? My collection is 1 virtus head piece, 2 magus vestiges, 6 ice quartz 9 chromium ingots and 27 orbs. Died 25 times. Normally because either i got impatient and walked into the laser and got hit for 80 OR had Duke at less than 50 with no food left and I just tried weather him but he just stomped me out with multiple (5s) back to back.
late to the party but i just started the grind on this blob, and im almost 1k kc dry of an eye. made it half way through the video and saw you didnt get it yet so it gave me some hope! untill you casually dropped the fact you got it in your first 100 kc haha love the vids man!!!
incredible seeing drops here, I didn’t get ring until 1331, then got first eye at 1332, other than those I got one Ingot at like 200 kc and one virtus mask at 900 kc my whole duke grind was rough 😂
Did 600 kills with scythe until ring, watching you use axe looks agonizing, if you have the cash and want to invest into this boss i highly recommend it, using fang after selling scythe was so painful i had to buy scythe back when i started to camp for pet, your inv set up is abismal, no hate just criticism, youre wasting a shit ton on supplies, for anyone wondering use summer pies as food (22HP per slot) same as angler, cheaper and IT RESTORES RUN, so youll cut out the cost of staminas, also just drink a sip of super combat per kill instead of wasting a whole divine, even if youre very quick at the prep phase its time wasted on the potion, plus its just agonizing to have to afk at all while the pot is running

I've had weird luck here at Duke. First pet at 156 kc(yes First pet) eye of duke shortly after. Virtus mask early on. 2nd pet at 466 kc. 480kc 2nd eye of duke.
Though you don’t have to pay to convert the bond if you use it for membership? You only have to pay if you want to convert it to sell it again? Am I missing something?
You got spoon fed af here This video inspired me to do this boss and 1k kc. I’m now at 1k kc with nothing but 4 ice quarts 1 ingot and some awakening orbs. No pet virtus magus ring or eye of duke. I’m never coming back here but it was awesome to see what you pulled
Is normal duke just like the desert treasure quest version? Just completed it yesterday and Duke was about the only one I could see myself grinding out for a pet if it's the same ease as in the quest. Whisperer sucked and leviathan. Vard gave me issues first 2 tries but got him the second. Got Levi 2nd try too but I think I got lucky. Whisperer killed me 2x and I Portaled out 8x l. That thing sucks.
Wooooow that second to last drop was awesome. What a good run of drops! I haven't made my way over to DT2 yet, but I'm excited for when I can finally do these bosses!
Currently 6500 duke kc no pet 😂😅 11 magus 100 plus orbs, I hate it here😊 Edit: even at 6500kc the muscle memory of hitting with the fang only every 5 ticks often has you stepping into ice slams or worse eyes, at least with vard you can panic, if you get eyed at duke your basically 2 shot dead. It's very prone to lagging too, the prep and gas is terrible
Umm, maybe i misheard; but did you say you convert your bond before redeeming? Cant you just redeem it right off the rip. Converting just makes it tradable again?

i agree duke is super easy, had it down within a few kills, got the pet in 25 kc lol

you can use the quartz on a chest in the ancient vault for more loot from the bosses' regular drop table

The ice quartz dupes are actually pretty valuable, they give you additional loot if you use them on the chest in ghorrock prison

Same on the cat walk lol, I have 1200 kills and 4-5 deaths and 2 are from just sleep walking that catwalk lol 1200 KC and no vestige :(

I got a Magus Ring from Duke ASAP and sold it for 82mil. Then went back to grinding Slayer. May go back to these bosses eventually

You can put the gems into a Chest somewhere near dt2 and get more loot!
