How I Would Do The Batman Sequel

- The Batman came out a couple months ago and it was fantastic. With the sequel recently confirmed, many people have been wondering who the main villain will be. Since everyone else is giving their thoughts I thought I’d give mine too bcuz why not? There’s so many possible villains to choose from but this is the most ideal movie in my opinion.
Thanks for watching.

This! Only I would go either DeathStroke OR ScareCrow. The trouble with the 90's movies of the Bats was too many storylines all over the place. While B1 managed to pull it together, it still left out some time to develop one of the storylines. Otherwise, this is solid.
This is actually a very good story I like it however my favorite for 2nd movie is Mr Freeze and the theme would be grief and sorrow. However if not Mr.Freeze Scarecrow would be my pick and this is definitely a great pitch
Mr. Freeze is definitely a villain I’d want to see them do. Pattinson and Reeves both said they already talked about it too so it seems like one of the more likely options
They wouldn't do that cos freeze is too unrealistic as a villain. This batman universe is more focused on realism.
@@praveeshachapman677 Wrong, and it would absolutely work.
Matt Reeves has stated that he is curious into Mr Freeze, and believes he could create a grounded Version Mr Freeze in his universe.
Take into consideration that Cryogenics exists in real life, all you need to do is stretch the possibilities of science a little bit. Another factor you have to take into consideration is his suit and freeze ray / gun which important to how Freeze is grounded, IMO I’d like his suit to look less bulky and more mobile also not looking as super futuristic. The same applies to his gun, I’d like the Freeze ray to not look like an actual gun, but instead be apart and built in his suit, something comparable to Boba Fetts vambrace.
freeze wouldn't really work as the main villain of a threactrically released film given that he's a tragic character who's only motive is to save his dying wife and will only try to kill people if their in his way he'd only work in a film as a secondary villain maybe being like a pawn of the main villain or something he wouldn't work though as big bad
@@praveeshachapman677it's still has the concept of a good billionare that actually cares about using his money to fix his shitty cities issues which is obviously pure fantasy their are no good billionares in the real world obviously oh and don't forget him dropping from a fifty story high building and not breaking a single bone in his body pet alone not dying face it batmans a ridiculous concept itself some rich Jack off runs around at night hopping from rooftop to rooftop beating the shit out of villains like a serial killer dressed up as a clown for some reason someone who injects people with fear toxins to make them see their worst fears some chick who controls and uses love thearemaones to brainwash men into doing her bidding the list goes on face up and face it batmans a silly and outlandish premise with silly and outlandish characters that they keep on trying to convice you it isn't but this film made it work
I would love to see Scarecrow in the sequel, especially since Batman has moved away from fear, Scarecrow would be perfect
After watching, I never expected Deathstroke to be with Penguin, I always had the idea of Black Mask hiring Deathstroke to kill Batman like in Arkham Origins but this works perfectly. Maybe the writers will watch this and implement this into the sequel
brooo I found you 👀
@@Infinite-99 Ayyyy
Abit early
You’re honestly a better writer than most screenwriters
the main and most important part is to actually have a kind of realistic explanation as to how he becomes batman that should be the first criteria of any batman film so that the audience understands the batman...if that made sense..Nolan's batman begins gave a very good explanation of how he becomes batman... wish matt also focused on that part also atleast a little
LOVE this concept, I could see the title being "Kill The Batman" or "Fear The Batman"
I think Professor pyg would be a badass villain for this batman
I agree.
Would have agreed if it wasnt too much like this version of riddler.. pyg isnt exactly batshit insane (well sorta) as riddler (this universe anyway) but nah would just be a rehash of the riddler just without you know... the riddles 🤷♂️
If they don't make this the sequel, I say we crowdfund it and make it happen. I'll pitch for sure
dont understand why this has so few views because this was an awesome take on what batman 2 should be. and hes right joker has been overused we saw that scrarecrow and deathstroke worked in the arkham series, and the fear toxin would look fire in the cinema
Joker could work in a lot of ways
Pattinsons gotta put on a little more size in the next one too, not much obvious too much muscle would inhibit speed and agility for batmans mma but maybe like hugh jackman in the wolverine, i just feel like batman should look strong as well as scary
Bane should be the next villain in the batman 2, especially with the venom Easter egg.
even tho it probably wouldnt work i still wanna see man-bat in the sequel, idk why i just really like him
@Just Nathan I think he would work.. just maybe not as a main or movie villain. I could see Dr. Langstrom as a corrupt doctor at Arkham and experimenting with vampire bat blood and humans, eventually getting his blood mixed with it and becoming Man-Bat.
Prolly would be in a gcpd spin-off series tho, not a movie
@Just Nathan it's a grounded, gritty universe not Nolanverse. They can adapt characters like Mr. Freeze, Man-Bat and Clayface.
@@plankgang5973 I can’t see how mutants would fit in well with Reeves universe.
Technically Mr Freeze is a mutant although he could be grounded much easier.
Even poison Ivy could be grounded but again I don’t know how she would fit in well.
Other super mutant characters like Killer Croc, Man Bat, Clayface wouldn’t fit in well or be adapted well.
@@aureum7479 Golden Age Clayface could definitely be used and he can be presented as a brilliant prosthetics artist and killer croc can also definitely be adapted into a grounded universe
One aspect i dont see people mention of the first movie is how small scale of a villain the riddler is. he doesnt have any extraordinary abilities and no supernatural aspects, hes just very intelligent and very patient. So when creating a sequel, i think it would be a better thing scaling wise to go with someone with larger potential in combat but not quite someone like a bane, poision ivy or mr freeze. this is where scarecrow comes in as the perfect sequel villain, he has a more fantastical element that is still entirely possible within our world, a middle ground between the fan ideas for his next main villain, and the standard humans like the riddler. (as a bonus i really want a fear toxin nightmare scene where batman spirals in fear)
Whatever version they end up making I want to see this one icl
This.. is a really really good story
Damn, bro... you are good at storytelling!
Banger upload
apart from all the good the one thing which is really annoying is that this movie didn't explain how he becomes batman unlike in the Nolan film where was a very practical and logical explain to his dark side n becoming batman apart from his own personality inspired from the league of shadow ...
I want to see Mr Freeze as a main villain in the sequel. I know Matt Reeves could created a grounded Mr Freeze. Cryogenics exists in real life so all you need to do is stretch the possibilities of science just a little bit.
Another aspect of Freeze that is important to how he could be grounded is his suit, I wouldn’t want to see a super bulky suit that looks too futuristic. A more mobile one would look better, something similar to Mr Freeze in Arkham Knight.
Edit: Now that I think about it Scarecrow and Freeze could work well together in the same movie.

The Scarecrow is my favourite Batman villain and seeing him in a sequel as the main villain done right would be everything to me
Damn this was well made. I agree with this direction. Keep it up ❤️
Yessss, I love this! Scarecrow and Deathstroke are such perfect villains for this movie. Such an interesting story you made. Nice job, I would love to see you make a pitch for spin offs and a third movie!
I perosonally would want a mask of phantasm type but without the joker
The villains that I want/hope to see and would be perfect for this Batman universe is Professor Pyg, Anarky, Lady Shiva, Mad Hatter, Cluemaster, Lady Arkham, Wrath, Prometheus, Deacon Blackfire, Hush, and Azrael. And now I’m currently working on how I would do The Batman sequel with some of these villains. There’s more than one idea.
Where is James Gordon? And catwoman?
Very good story especially adding scarecrow and deathstroke who are iconic villains even tho if I made this I would add hush and black mask, maybe Bane
I definitely agree that Scarecrow is a perfect choice for the sequel both on the grounds that he’s long overdue as the main antagonist of a Batman film and it makes sense to use him at this point in Bruce’s career after his character arc in the first film. I don’t know about Penguin though because since Batman has so many characters crying out for a good adaptation and would fit perfectly in this universe, the spin-off shows should be utilized as much as possible. It’s the same reason why I agree that the Joker stuff should be confined to the Arkham show where we can get a REAL adaptation of Harley Quinn’s origin. As for who I’d replace Penguin with as Scarecrow’s partner, my first choice would be Poison Ivy. It would be easy to tweak it so that she’s a botanist and biochemist who uses her expertise to help Scarecrow perfect his fear toxin. Maybe add that she also made her own toxin that makes people more suggestible and has used it to rise to power in the Gotham’s criminal underworld so that she can still serve the same purpose as a crime boss.
I think in The Batman 3 should Joker kill Robin
(Jaason Todd)
Robin should definitely be Sick Grayson in the 3rd movie
W vid
for 2 I would do deathstroke I've always wanted to see him in live action fighting batman and since this batman fighting is awesome based on the first movie then I would love for them to bring back the choreographer and do batman vs desthstroke
I kind of had this idea where Killer Croc is the secondary villain like Penguin and Killer Moth could be the main one. For Croc to be realistic he could be a brute with tattoos or what not. I was thinking he would be like a weapons dealer and allows Killer Moth to gain power.
There could also be a badass Bat Boat chase since the city is flooded. 😅
Also, hear me out, I feel like the Batman Who Laughs could be the villain in the hypothetical final film of the trilogy. Like he wouldnt be from another universe or whatever I think he could be a horrifying criminal who poses as Batman and tries to frame Batman for horrible crimes like mass murders.
Crazy idea I know 😅
I always kinda thought that Clancy brown should play Deathstroke. Mostly because of his role as Hank in Detroit become human
Clancy Brown as Deathstroke? Hmmm that’s a good one. I still feel like Joe Mangiello deserves a second chance.
I agree, I think he would do good as him
Where is James Gordon “
Gotta be the Joker man, unless what was the point in having him in the end scene with the riddler.. besides after watching the deleted scene with him and batman in Arkham its really made me wanna see what Barry Keoghan brings to the table
I think the joker would be good for the third Batman movie. But the joker is literally in almost every single Batman movie, show and video game. Obv he is an amazing villain and there’s no doubt this new guy could def play joker well. But at some point you gotta give other villains some love
Bro just find an artist and make the graphic novel cause this was a masterpiece
Why not use a Batman villian instead of Deathstroke?
Deathstroke is a batman villain lol
@@burley7284 No he's not. He's a Titans or Nightwing villian. Dude has barley any links to Batman.
@@austinmeghu Hmmm no haha, you literally don't read comics and you haven't played the arkham games,he is literraly one of the main villains in those games.
@@burley7284 I'm certain I read more comics than you do. And yeah Deathstroke is a villian to The Titans and Teen Titans. He was thrown in as one of the assassins in origins but he's far from a Batman villian.
@@austinmeghu deathstroke has literally faced the whole justice league including batman multiple times, there are multiple comics of batman v deathstroke so yeah,he is a batman villain and also lets supone that it wasn't.......what is the problem? Starro isn't a suicide squad villain,Black mask is not a Harley queen villain, kingpin wasn't created as a daredevil villain.
I got a idea, have the Joker kill 1000's of people including kids, this then enrages Batman (Pattinson) to kill the Joker in a intense battle. In killing the Joker, a apparatus activates attaching to Batman, to make sure he receives a strong dose of a gas that eventually changes him to the Batman that laughs
Darkseid elsewhere kills Metron takes control of the mobious chair and ask what way to destroy the Justice League, the chair offers the Batman that laughs. He then captures and sends the Batman that laughs to the modern DC universe. DC Studios would print money
I just want to see Robin. He is the most important character in the mythos imo.
Deathstroke’s better off fighting Nightwing and the Teen Titans😊
Don't add Death Stroke to the movie. He'll feel out of nowhere and a waste of space.
Yeah ur right
The Batman was okay imo. One of the best superhero movies of all time? Nah it’s not even the best Batman movie. TDK and the TDKR are better. Even The Batman with Jack Nicholson was better.
Joker should definitely take a backseat. Ledger’s portrayal is casting a huge shadow and Pheonix’s portrayal is a fan favorite right now.
The proposed story is good, though. I want to see this Batman have a good fight scene with Deadshot to the level of Ben Affleck had in Superman v. Batman.
You do realise the majority of viewers would agree it’s one of the best comic book movies in recent years right? You can have your opinion but don’t try and act like it’s more important or overshadows other peoples opinions.
I think in The Batman 2, they should turn Batman back into Batman. I think that would be cool.
What ?
@@aureum7479 Huh?
Yes
Wym
@@hyperion2189 “they should turn Batman back into Batman”
That doesn’t make any sense
I'll pass on Deathstroke cause he won't be how he should be
The movie kind of set up and hinted Hush so hopefully we will see him
Scarecrow = Mysterio. I dont want another Far From Home...
