Nice, discovered Seven Spires a couple years ago and they are one of my favorite bands. AFCH is my most listened to album this year, and currently my favorite but I still need to listen to more albums that came out.
Before 'The Old Hurt Of Being Left Behind' I have never heard something of Seven Spires. And now Seven Spires is one of my favorite bands and Adrienne one of my favorite female vocalists. And 'A Fortress Called Home' my favorite album of the year too.
She filled in for Eluveitie on tour, the lead singer had a family emergency and she absolutely killed it. She split the duties with the guy from Omnium Gatherum (both were on tour with them), but IMO she blew him away.
@IMMORTALWASP666 great choices! Emerald Necklace is Adrienne's favorite I believe. My favorite song of the album would be Love's Souvenir for its insanely emotional blast beats meet guitar solo 👊
I'm a simple woman. I see Adrienne in the thumbnail, I click on the video. Seven Spires really knocked it out of the park with this album, and it was great to experience a bunch of the songs live at Mile High Power Fest back in August! Good to see someone else who chose their album as their AotY! =]
@BelgianJasper Seeing Ty Christian (Lords of the Trident)and Sarah Wolf (ex-Aftertime)sing the backing chorus parts of Love's Souvenir gave me CHILLS! And Emerald Necklace was so beautiful live! 🖤
AFCH took a long time to get into for me, but it was worth it in the end. I love music that makes me feel, and yeah... this is such an emotional journey. The more I listen, the more it grows! It's one of those rare albums that will stay with me for many years to come, and that's going to be important when I finalize my list. It won't be my #1, but #2 seems very, very possible.
@@BelgianJasper Belore - Eastern Tales is still untouchable! It too is an emotional journey, but one of beauty and wonder. It also has my fav music video, the epic one for Battle For Therallas (really great quality for such a small band)
