That's very insightful Ntwanie 😊 I believe there's already enough foreign skilled labor in the UK, they could be trying to manage that. But those changes are not fair. I want to see how far this will go. Will UK do the job themselves? If UK want to continue training CA's, they need to take the extra cost or just stop training trainees from other countries.
Very informative video . I have been having a lot of discussions with my colleagues about these new changes, we are CAs in training from Zimbabwe. Summary of our thoughts : a) We agree that there has been a huge influx of immigrants in the UK over the recent years which may have potentially strained the economy and other resources as a whole . b) Nelwy qualified CAs may not be affected as much by these new provisions in the short term but perhaps in the long run there could be more limitations which could potentially affect them. c) We feel for the health workers who have been looking to move to the UK especially from our country since most of them are looking to take their families there with them We do not know what the future holds for our fellow brothers and sisters moving to the UK but this calls for an honest meeting with self to determine which direction to take in future career wise and other . Thanks for sharing your thoughts too Ntwanie !
Thanks for sharing these pointers, its important that we have these conversations esp as immigrant and also share it with those looking to potentially move over.
