Jürgen tried it but couldn't let go of counter pressing as the main focus for creating threat. Slot uses counter press more situationally, more defensively. I like that shirt the presenter's wearing - very Mexican! Great video and makes me think I shouldn't drink so much beer whilst watching the game. I didn't pick up on the triggers that saw players bomb forward but it made sense. That said... it was Spurs, wasn't it! (And a weakened one at that.) I expect they'll do this in all games, just considerably less frequently.
