    We all have that one good friend who watches us struggle silently, without judgement, but then as soon as we succeed, comes up with "you know what, you could've done it like this". Then bam bam, finishes in one or two short steps.
    Ollie's remarks are pure gold.

      @@FreaZephyr 계란 후라이 생각보다 기본에 충실한 프라이팬 요리에요. 단순히 익히는거라면 아무나 다하는거지만, 잘 만드려면 충분히 어려워요. 프라이를 할 때 기름 쓰는 양이나 방법, 불세기 조절, 얼마나 익혀야하는지 등 알면, 사실상 웬만한 프라이팬 요리는 전문가 수준만큼은 아니라도 다 할 수는 있어요. 쟤료의 양이나 단계 정도만 다르지 계란프라이랑 크게 다르지않죠. 게다가 써니 사이드 업 쯤 되면 아주 어렵습니다. 라면도 마찬가지에요. 라면 끓일 줄 알면 웬만한 수프 요리는 마음만 먹으면 다 할 수 있습니다. 레시피를 기억하지 않아도 요즘세상엔 간단히 찾아보면 되니까 걱정 안해도 되고, 갈비탕이나 장조림 같은 것들 그냥 재료들이나 다르고 요리시간이나 길지, 라면이랑 똑같이 순서대로 넣고 익을 때 까지 끓이기만 하면 끝이에요. 크게 다를 것 없음. 어려운 요리라고 하면 제과제빵이나, 수타면같이 특별한 기술이 필요한 것이거나, 육류를 직접 열에 굽는 요리 정도 밖에 없습니다. 육류는 불 세기나 두께에 따라 적당히 익힐 수 있는 연습이 필요하거든요. 물이나 술 등 액체에 담가서 끓이는건 제외입니다. 다 증발하지 않는 이상 타지 않고 알아서 적당히 익힐 수 있으니까요. 일단 열을 이용해서 데우는게 아니라 익히는거라면 요리라고 봐줘도 될 것 같아요.

    I almost lost it at "vegetable caviar"! Though I can undestand where the confusion comes from. For clarification, there is a Russian word "ikra", that has several different, but possibly related meanings. It can mean caviar, especially combined with the name of the fish it comes from. In this case, for when it is used with vegetables, it's like a vegetable preparation, similar to ajvar for example. And also the same word is used for the calf muscle for some reason (maybe because it has a similar shape to how caviar is stored inside fishes?).
    And the vegetable ikra is definitely not eaten hot, it's often eaten directly out of the fridge actually (I find it's tastier the next day).

    • @ffffffadsgasdgad
      @ffffffadsgasdgad 2 роки тому

      I was gonna say ikra might come from the word "ikura" in Japanese, which means salmon roe, but apparently it's the other way around.

    The beef you had looks like "tushonka" aka canned stewed meat. It is best with "makaroni" pasta - you just put them together. Or you can make "The travelers soup" - put tushonka and vegetables you have left in fridge into the water, boil it. Tushonka is really handy when you run out of salt while hiking.
    If you are going to try proper Russian food - try "stroganina" or "indigirka". Good luck! :)
