@@hectorescobar9450 Well they have done world tour for years as Helloween: Pumpikins United.. Or they should done, but one damn thing messed everything, well at least I have the ticket to their next..when ever the gig will be, gig in Finland, They are the last of my favorite bands that i have not seen live yet and it's all ready postponed for about 2 years.
It was 1990, me, my parents and my cousin’s family were in a camping. Suddenly my cousin told me he had a cassette with music from a band he wanted to hear. We went to his fathers car and... that was it. The intro of The Keeper of the Seven Keys part one started. And then... i’m alive. I remember as if was yesterday how I felt with the song and specially the double solos by Kai and Weikath. I had found a new love, heavy metal, the music of my live. Helloween was the band that introduced me to this world. And this song brought me to that moment in my uncle’s car. Thant you, Helloween. You made my day.
A dream come true for Helloween fans.🤘🏻😍 All three vocalists and everyone sounds still great, just like when they were teenagers. It's unbelievable, they are all in their 50s now.😌 And the cover art, my God.🤤 It's my second favorite cover art of all time, definitely.👌🏻 Can't wait for the self-titled album.😁 Please check out Helloween - Ride The Sky (lyrics or audio).🤘🏻
Good afternoon gentlemen, I am glad Helloween won. The drums were Ingo Schwichtenberg's drums, he was the original drummer of Helloween who sadly died. I have heard the full song and I love it, there is a lot packed into those extra 5 mins or so. This is the final song off their new album which is out shortly. In the full song there is a lot more of all 3 singers and you can really feel the emotion and anxiety of the chase which is happening. Needless to say I love it and can't wait for the new album. As always gentlemen, thanks for taking the time to react, stay safe and have a lovely day.
I got the CD single of Skyfall this past Sunday , and I really enjoyed the full length alternate vocals mix big time. I agree the extra parts missing on the edited version makes the full length version more Epic.
There are few fans of other music genres that can say they've experienced as many monumental and historic moments as we in the metal community have: Bruce Dickinson reuniting with Iron Maiden, Rob Halford reuniting with Judas Priest... and now we finally have, after 30+ years, a reunion album with the current Helloween lineup, its original founder Kai Hansen, and THE voice of Helloween, Michael Kiske. These are some of the moments that makes me happy that I was born in this day and age where I got to see some of the greatest moments in metal history.
Not to mention Schmier coming back to Destruction and eventually playing Wacken with three drummers at once, their former second guitar, and their original drummer coming out to do some vocals since he left drumming behind long ago. Also: the extravaganza that was Scorpions with former members reuniting including Uli Jon Roth. Living in good times indeed!
This gave me "Rabbit Don't Come Easy" vibes. The more song was progressing the more i was thinking that they came back to "Just a little sign",wanting to improve it after all those y-s.
I also got "Rabbit Don't Come Easy" vibes, and I also got Gamma Ray's "Induction" vibes from the No World Order album. Kai Hansen wrote the song so I wasn't surprised by that one.
Helloween has easily been one of the most special bands for me for over thirty years when I first listened to them back in 1987 at nine years old. I have been a huge massive fan of theirs throughout all their eras including the Kai Hansen era, the Michael Kiske era, and the Andi Deris era. This is a huge dream come true for me and many other Helloween fans. They can perform any song with the original lead singer any time they want since they have all three. This new song Skyfall is one of the greatest songs I have listened to in a long time. Kai Hansen has always been a PHENOMENAL songwriter, and has been one of my favorite songwriters ever for over thirty years. Great reaction!!
Great review guys. Awesome track and video. Totally agree with what you said about the mind blowing guitar playing. Parts of this remind me of Keeper Of The 7 keys era Helloween. I am so excited about the album. Can't wait to hear the 12 minute version of Skyfall
Very nice and epic song. These guys still doing great work after 36 years!!!Wow...I was lucky to see them together at their Pumpkins united Tour. This band still has more to give to their fans. Respect!!!
Great reaction guys! You found so many easter eggs at the first try, must be the Easter spirit haha. As a fan of Helloween who still finds unreal that Kiske is singing with them again, I absolutely love the song and I also can't wait to hear the long version. I also agree that Helloween is able to have a sound that is both their classic 80s sound and a more modern power metal one. As for what they cut, I guess it's probably some verses and a chorus, as I felt that the chorus (which is pretty catchy) was not used enough. I feel like it's a similar case to how they made the song Halloween (also a 12 minute epic by Kai Hansen) into a shorter version for a single.
7:56 to 8:20 is the best what I hear in the last years. That's Halloween at his Best. That's the Keeper Feeling. I where 15 Years old when I hear keeper one and this Album give me the way for music. Thanks Hansen for writing this song, thanks Kiste to come back and thanks all to make that real.... I a blow away ! Greets from germany
This single version is not only short, it's also different, in the 12 minute version after the intro the one who starts singing is Kai followed by Andi and then Mike... In this one is just Mike...
If I have to bet, being a song composed by Kai, I believe that what they cut, was some kind of atmospheric trip ... like in Heading for Tomorrow ... about 2 or 3 minutes of few instruments, creating a call more epic to go back to the solo or the chorus.
The drum set used is the one that was used by Ingo Schwichtenberg (RIP), Helloweens first drummer. There’s something so unique about the sound of that drum set, but I’ve no idea what it is exactly
Man this has to be one of the greatest albums yet really from them. Feel so many different band styles coming through there...theres a touch of iron maiden, billy idol, acdc, judas priest...as if they paid tribute to all the monster classics and themselves. brings me right back to the early days of Helloween. We really are lucky to listen to these amazing musicians with todays quality of production \m/
Hangar 18, a hangar at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio purported to contain UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) technology. This is the place where Mustaine based his song on the Megadeth album. So I guess it is not an homage to Megadeth but more about that place 🤪👍
Also this is the first song since 1988 that Kai Hansen has written by himself for Helloween. Helloween has always had PHENOMENAL songwriters, but Kai Hansen is and has always been my favorite. Kai has written so many MASTERPIECES for Helloween, Gamma Ray, and every other side project that he has done.
Hi guys, like your videos and music reactions. I am a guy from Gothenburg Sweden. You have to listen to Gardenian ( another Gothenburg metal scene band ). The guy on guitar is Nicklas, now playing in Inflames. Gardenian - Sonic Death Monkey has been my favourite for 15 years now..! Please keep on your good work. Best regards!
The Alternative Version has much more power because Andy sings much more and its goes directly to you brain. Very different voicesparts more guitarparts. Buy the Single. ;-)
@@T1hitsTheHighestNote I had searched. Not now. For the band it would be better if you buy the single. Especially at this time. I think this is the reason it is not on streaming. Buy it! It cost only 5 Euros. I dont know how it will cost in Dollar.
@@Cloudiskyies939 nah, I'm fine. Will probably buy the album on vinyl in some form. I get why they save the special versions to the physical media, makes all the economical sense in the world. I has more instrumental parts as well?
Exactly what we’ve all been waiting for! Keeper of the Seven Keys 1&2 are the best albums ever, in my opinion. I just love them! We all wanted a nod to that kind of execution, and I think they nailed it. Finally, Keeper pt 3!
Hey guys! I'd like to recommend checking out Havamal with their new song Nidhoggr. They're swedish melodic death metal band and they're releasing their 3rd album in may. As an Amon Amarth fan, I also dig these guys a lot.
Really good song, just the begining of the song is a little bite too similar of the Avantasia song « reach out for the Light » specialy the pre chorus. But good job and happy too see the original members back in the band.
@@APREACTS i know, actually i like it better when the songs aren't too long, it gets easily boring. Mostly it's the instrumental part that goes long not the vocals =)
Really liked this song, though Helloween never interested me (haven't even listened to their two Keeper albums). The melody of the chorus really strikes a tone, though. I know it from somewhere. Maybe Edguy, maybe Gamma Ray, maybe Iron Maiden. Not a fan of cutting down the song to half the length. Good radios play full songs. But I get it. Most radios don't. The video, though, kinda reminded me of Eiffel 65's 'Blue (Da Ba Dee)'. :D
I expect them to have cut some part of the intro (the build-up felt to short), a second verse and chorus, parts of the instrumental sections and parts of the outro. You can compare this to the big epics from the original Keeper albums, which were pretty butchered allover. The full album version comes out in June, so good luck reacting to that one at this time.

Gamma Ray, 80s Helloween and Post Kiske Hellowen in one powerful unit. This is a Dream come true.
