Not a bad name choice at all defo rolls off the tongue. I actually like the idea of these story book adventures. Looking forward to seeing more and maybe even a bit of combat. I reckon you ask them how they met or about gnomes might lead to some useful info.

I don't think so, there are no dice, and no stats just your skills. But I have not had a fight yet, so not sure what the options are there! Sorry!
Mild Spoiler- There are battle options in the game. They are narrative too. That is why skills like Brawling and Military exist, not to mention Arcana and Runes.

This is so nostalgic... it brings back memories of those Lone Wolf adventure books I used to play when I was a kid.

HA nope and I am not really sure IF there is one. It is much more of a choose your own adventure game. This is honestly what I thought 7th Continent was going to be like. . . . I was not sure about it, but so far am really enjoying it!

Great question Luke! So it appears so, so far but this is all I have played so I am honestly not 100% sure. Looking at reviews it looks like there is a lot that goes on in the town. . . at least I think so. I guess we shall see!

Nice!! Yeah if you enjoyed 7th Continent (or are still enjoying) I think this games narrative is what I was expecting for 7th Continent. Sorry about the spoilers, but I think this video is geared more towards people on the fence of if they should order the game or not. Thanks as always for commenting though!

Quite clever how this game has been put together. It's CYA gone to the next level.
I like the time track idea and the amount of choices available. Some decisions can only be made if you have a certain skill or if you've already marked a certain entry point, pretty cool mechanic.
Still not sold on it though. I'm waiting to see if there's any combat and how it's resolved.

Completely. I love Tales of the Arabian Nights, which is just a big CYOA game :)
The fact that there is less game and more athmosphere is a good thing. I'd take one of this over 2 of Folklore (which looks really good too, but too gamey as we discussed yesterday)
