1. For names I think either Falros Stonebreaker (staying true to his tribal roots) or Falros the Storyteller to embrace his new life. 2. Maybe Willpower instead of Devotion as it takes a great deal of will to turn your back on the obvious path. 3. I think our bard would want to hear more about the bandits. Looking forward to the play through as always, I love DnD myself but getting a solo experience that gives the same feeling is very intriguing.
Farlos I lke it!! Yeah I can see where you are coming from on the willpower vs. devotion. Haven't decided yet. Got you on the bandits. Thanks for watching!!
1. Malkek of skrag creek ( he was a tribal ork so he should have a tribal name that he proboly doesn't like to mention) 2. All your skills sound perfect; the devotion skill could be linked with the tribal background "Malkek" family could have been the tribes leader or shamen and "Malkek" left the tribe but still has the knowledge of the trait. 3. Your streetsmart orc would most likely ask about the bandits(7773) if not then he would stick close to the gnome to gleem info and stories (4457)
1. LOVE the name!, 2. Cool hadn't thought of that for devotion thanks! 3. I totally agree I think he would want to know more about the bndits being he used to be a leader and understands how important it is to have all the information!
YESSS!! Well you know his ancestry is from Australia so it is no wonder he had this calling. I am actually trying this with my 4 yr old son. So far only creating the character and the intro, but he has liked it! Fingers crossed it becomes a thing! Good luck to you!
exactly!! I liked how this decision had to be made at the beginning of the game. If I were to do this again, I would chose 2 characters, one with tons of skills and low stamina, and the other high stamina and only 5 skills.
0 - It's tribal and not Tribunal, right ? 1 - Phrenk (I know, not very original) 2 - I like the choice of skills, it fits with your character (love the background and all by the way !) 3 - 7773. Phrenk wants to hear the story about the bandits. 4 - Didgeridoo ? Really ? :D
0 - You are right, problem of recording starting at 11pm at night. . .so sorry! 1 - I still like it! 2 - Glad you like the skills and thanks for the nice comment about the background. I didn't want him to be an average Orc! 3 - I agree! 4 - Yeah sorry, might have been over the top a little, but 'cmon an instrument AND a weapon in one? AND Australian!!
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I have not heard that before and I like it! You are welcome, I get a pedicure once a month. . hahaha that is a joke! Not even sure if it is a peicure or manicure for your nails? I dunno my wife doesn't do those things either. . .
Because I care, and I do not want you going through life without knowing the difference; a manicure is done on the hands a pedicure is done on the feet. (learn something new everyday)
I played a pre-generated Human Knight. There were four of us playing. 2 folks from Fantasy Flight, me and another reviewer. We had a really good time but we did play up the characters.
NICE!! I hope to do that a little here. How did it work multi-player. Did you feel you could make your own decisions or not really? Just curious. Thanks as always Doug!!
Yes. The multiplayer action tokens makes it so you make the decision for your character. Each player gets to make a key decision then the tokens reset. It got a tad quirky (Why would we reach in that whole???? for example)but that made it fun. Just got my copy so there will be three plays of this game going!!!! FUN! I wonder how different each will be.
Name Suggestion (working off instructions at 6:15): 'Bunji' [plus a 'tribal' surname as per 6:29]: -'Bunji' An Australian Aboriginal-English slang word for 'mate' or 'close friend' or 'kinsman'. Your Didgeridoo (or 'Yidaki' in the Australian Yolngu language)-playing Orc has a history of making friends with those outside his race rather than causing chaos or unwarranted pain and heartache. Then again, "is he a fighter or a musician?" why not both: 'MC Hammerfist!' :D .
The downside with largely narrative games is not being able to run through them yourself before videotaping, otherwise you spoil things for yourself. I've heard good things about this one and am excited. You're doing this, Folklore, Tomb of Annhiliation, and This War of Mine? Did I miss one? You've got a lot of significant playthroughs going concurrently. Do you have a lot of filming space, or re-set-up each game before filming? Oooh! Did the orc and elf fall in love? Or just friends. I imagine non-orcs have never heard orc stories. I can read pretty bad handwriting, so yours isn't that bad.
Yeah good point! You have it right, I am over-exerting a little because I am so excited hahaha. ToA is done recording I will post he final vid tomorrow, but this, TWoM and Folklore are all big ones! So we shall see what happens! I will finish them all I promise! :) Thanks David for watching!! Oh and I will leave it up to you on if the eld and orc fell in love. . . There might be something there!
How about the Orc fell in love with the elf, but not vice versa. The orc left his clan to learn music to be near the elf. The elf never returned the orc's attentions, but the orc stayed because he fell in love with music.
Oh David NICE!! I really like that!! I will see if I can incorporate that into the 2nd vid! I am uploading the first one right now. . . Thanks for the great idea!! Did you ever do RPG's?
A.K. SUTTZ It’s been a while since I played, but I believe you can get items outside of town, in the form of item cards. Don’t you start with the letter right off the bat?
@@OneStopCoopShop Yes we do start off with the letter. I should have been more specific. I meant more in the means of weapons but as I played, my character already had items to use in his bag, depending on the skill I had/use. For example, I have the arcane skill and I used that as one of the choices and I pulled out runes and set people on fire. This game is awesome! I thinking about creating character cards to add add to the box when I play with people who haven't played games like this. And leave black sheets for those who still want to create them. Also, laminating these sheets and having white board markers may be the best way to go with these.
Bummer. Well it's a not too difficult. You've already played through at least once so it probably wont come too much as a surprise to you what it may say. I immediately picked up the not very subtle hint there's more to the letter XD, and going back to the letter I figured it out. I don't own the game and really don't have any desire to get it considering In some ways it's like Folklore (which I still don't have yet) so i'm not worried about watching this series. I know I'm late to the party but what evs.
Quiver Gaming! They did a kickstarter for these mats! I will have more info when they do their next kickstarter, but you can check out their website here: quivergaming.com/
One Stop Co-op Shop .unlike Shrek who is an Ogre. Haha change the the K to a C because he's an OrC! Thanks for the early setup of the game. I haven't seen anyone else playthrough or review this game just yet. I've been looking for a 1-player RPG D&D kind of game. I'll have to check out the other video you mentioned. Thanks
There were at least 12-13 misspellings in that"letter from Celyse." Does this game suffer from misspellings and poor grammar as badly as does the early edition Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective game? . . . or is Celyse supposed to be a bit dim? Maybe it's flavor?
Well, if you like the band Slayer it's even better. Imagine your Orc singing medieval rock songs with growls and screams in a tavern after a tough adventure to blow off some steam. Head banging always relieves a bit of stress. Glad you like it, i might pick up the game but i'm not sure yet. Do you know when you'll release you first play through video?
HA! And playing the didgeridoo with some heavy metal. . .awesome! So the next vid should be up this week, probably Wednesday would be my guess. I gotta decide on a name which is going to be HARD!!
Appreciate the atmospheric music, very much adds to the atmosphere... great presentation as ever.
Awesome!! Glad to hear the extra effort is worth it!! :)
1. For names I think either Falros Stonebreaker (staying true to his tribal roots) or Falros the Storyteller to embrace his new life.

You know it's a good marriage when she fills out your character sheets for you.
Tell me about it, she is pretty freakin amazing!! AND she asked o be on the next vid! So she will be playing the women parts!
Great video, I don't think I'd be able to get into this one as much. Narritive adventures seem like they wouldn't keep me engaged enough.
1. Malkek of skrag creek ( he was a tribal ork so he should have a tribal name that he proboly doesn't like to mention)
2. All your skills sound perfect; the devotion skill could be linked with the tribal background "Malkek" family could have been the tribes leader or shamen and "Malkek" left the tribe but still has the knowledge of the trait.

I 've ordered this one. there's not so much information about it, so I'm excited about your playthrough.
Hopefully the playthrough helps! Thanks as always for watching!
As an Australian ... approve of the instrument choice :) Really looking forward to this to see if it will work with my 6 year old daughter
YESSS!! Well you know his ancestry is from Australia so it is no wonder he had this calling. I am actually trying this with my 4 yr old son. So far only creating the character and the intro, but he has liked it! Fingers crossed it becomes a thing! Good luck to you!
That idea of more skills decreasing max stamina is genius. It just works so well with stereotypical fantasy theme too.
exactly!! I liked how this decision had to be made at the beginning of the game. If I were to do this again, I would chose 2 characters, one with tons of skills and low stamina, and the other high stamina and only 5 skills.
Go with Question 2, so you can understand more about the bandits. As far as a name, what about Oscos, for one stop co-op shop.
I like the name hahaha! Got you on the bandits! Oscos the Orc!
Glad I can help...Love your channel and am looking forward to the play-through. My copy of legacy of Dragonholt is on the way.
Sweet!! Hope you have fun with your own adventures!!!
haha As soon as I saw the writing, I thought "Wow, he has good handwriting". Glad to hear you're really just like me :)
My wife sent me a text about this comment she thought it was hilarious! Yeah my guess is our handwriting is as comparable as our tastes in games! :)
Looking forward to seeing this. Probably wouldn’t normally play a game like this myself but looks like it could be fun.
Madok “The Exiled”
Sorry missed this one! Thanks for the suggestion but I already chose the name :( That was a good one! Hope you enjoy the playthrough!

I'm excited to see this one!
Should be a blast!
Can't wait for this to arrive to my FLGS!!!!
Hope it is there soon!!!
So glad you're doing this playthrough :)
Thanks so much Shane, and thanks for sharing it with other solo board gamers!
One Stop Co-op Shop Thank YOU for consistently making great playthroughs of soloable games 😊
My pleasure my man!! :)
Really enjoyed your idea and setup looks like very enjoyable game 😊
Thanks for the visit!
May I just say that I always appreciate your dedication to clean fingernail when doing these playthroughs. 😏
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I have not heard that before and I like it! You are welcome, I get a pedicure once a month. . hahaha that is a joke! Not even sure if it is a peicure or manicure for your nails? I dunno my wife doesn't do those things either. . .
You both are now making me self conscience about my nails hahahahaha!!!
Because I care, and I do not want you going through life without knowing the difference; a manicure is done on the hands a pedicure is done on the feet. (learn something new everyday)
Yurbad Blowhard. He would want to know more about the bandits (7773). I played this at BGGCon at the demo area. I thought it was fun.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!! I love that first name, and the last name is perfect. Which race and class did you play?
I played a pre-generated Human Knight. There were four of us playing. 2 folks from Fantasy Flight, me and another reviewer. We had a really good time but we did play up the characters.

Thanks for this intro, I do have a question for the items list. Do we leave that blank untill it's time to get to the town were we can purchase items?

I didn’t find the replay to be too good sadly. So printing out a few character sheets online was enough for us!
@@OneStopCoopShop Damn. That's okay. Thanks for the help and the assistance. Enjoy your week!
It's Tri-bal. Not Tribunal.
Yup sorry about that!
I slightly cringed every time he said it
I wonder if you figured out the puzzle you were just presented with, the letter. It's a code. :)
No I haven't! I need to revisit the game, currently in storage for moving :(

Thanks Colin. Where did you get that camo playmat?
Quiver Gaming! They did a kickstarter for these mats! I will have more info when they do their next kickstarter, but you can check out their website here: quivergaming.com/
Beautiful mat but the sticker shock was a bit much.
Totally get it, I decided that if I was doing vids I want it to look good, and I think it does. But it is not cheap!
How about Vargan Bloodtooth, of the Bloodtooth clan?
Ohh that is quite good! Thanks for the suggestion!!
Have you tried the game solo with multiple characters? if so, how did the game feel?
This one I have actually not tried it yet! We will be experiencing this the first time together!
Dr. Dranzel of course
HAHAHA nice!
Knorr Surname: Ketterog so the famous Knorr Ketterog
NICE!!!
Grodd Tusksong.
NICE! I already picked one though sorry!!
Shrec the Orc Bard
HA! Srec nice!! I like it!
Thanks
SO AWESOME!! Love it! Yeah check out Adam's vid he will show you all the different classes etc. Thanks for watching!
Orcy McOrcface , pleaseeeee
HAHAHAHA!! That might be a little over the top, still like it though!
lol
There were at least 12-13 misspellings in that"letter from Celyse."
Does this game suffer from misspellings and poor grammar as badly as does the early edition Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective game?
. . . or is Celyse supposed to be a bit dim? Maybe it's flavor?
AAAAAAAnd ... after continuing on, I see that it's flavor.
Also: a relief.
Yup they are clues!! 😁
Read one review and it wasn't very positive at all. Hope they were wrong.
Hmm well I think you have to come into this game with the correct mind-set. I hope they are wrong too as I really enjoyed creating my character!
Krom Slayersong
NICCEEE Slayersong. . so perfect!!

HA! And playing the didgeridoo with some heavy metal. . .awesome! So the next vid should be up this week, probably Wednesday would be my guess. I gotta decide on a name which is going to be HARD!!
Good. I'm looking forward to it. This might make up my mind after all =)
