Perfection for sure!!! When I was younger I always wanted my meat cooked until it was brown and there was absolutely no blood!! But after years of chewing and chewing and absolutely starting to hate meats I definitely new something was wrong!! So I decided one day I would ask for a steak cooked at medium rare and after trying it I was so amazed at the flavor and and tenderness that after eating the entire steak and seeing how meat can taste so much better or so much worse on just how it’s cooked that from that point on I would always be ordering every steak cooked to a medium rare and nothing else!!! I definitely no that this steak was cooked to a medium or medium rare!! I have seen others on the internet make steaks and show how they are cooked and say oh how nicely done to a medium rare and all I see is that the center of the meat is still ice cold and the center hasn’t even seen any heat what so ever and the center has not that light pink color like a medium rare steak should have but it had the more red color!!! This steak that you made was definitely cooked to a perfection and I would definitely eat it for sure!!!
I recommend cutting the steaks before cooking, I've made it both ways and both are delicious but you can get a better seasoning with the steaks cut before cooking 😊
Looks perfect. I’d say it’s not that common to cook the piece whole, due to the shape. We sometimes seal it whole (to help get that nice crust), but normally we cut it before the final grilling, as you have more control. I bet the tip of yours was a little too well done, no?
