Who Loma chose because he was really really good. Ortiz would crush Kambossos.
And people bring up Teofimo Lopez as if Lopez had a dominant performance. teofimo was outboxing loma for the first half of the fight. loma was beating teofimos ass for the 2nd half. that 12th round was the difference maker. It could of easily been Ruled a draw.
@@OMR.07 why didn’t loma turn it up and win the 12 round than? Why didn’t he use he’s untouchable matrix “no mas” super powers and won the 12. If you noticed loma did try to go toe to toe and win in the 12 round but Lopez kept beating loma to the punch

I think Loma has more than 70% chance to win against Haney!!!
Those who say it is 50/50 or Haney is gonna win, have a few faulty assumptions:
1) "Haney is much heavier, taller, stronger, and has more reach than Loma."
But Linares, Pedraza, Crolla, Cambell, Nakatani, Commey and Ortiz had all those advantages maybe except for weight (they weren't as heavy as Haney is).
2) "Haney has an excellent jab."
I think Haney's jab would be so ineffective against Loma, because:
A) Loma is very good to slip or counter his opponent's jab.
B) Haney's jab was useless against the only southpaw he has ever faced (Jojo Diaz)
3) "Loma is overrated, and he is hyped."
But Roy Jones recently said, and I'm quoting:
"I still, in my humble honest opinion, think Loma is one of the best boxers in the game ... pound for pound until he retires, he is gonna be on my top 3 list"
4) "Loma is old, and he is way past his prime."
How do they know that?
He was magnificent against Nakatani (they fight 25 months ago) and Commey (20 months ago) but in 12 months he suddenly got old against Ortiz!!!
Contrary to popular idiots' believe, he won very easily against Ortiz!!! Ortiz out landed him only in rounds 1 & 4 (I watched that fight 2 times on 25% speed), Loma looked passive in the inside, didn't throw any right hook and... but by considering Haney was sitting beside the ring and watching their fight, to me seemed intentional (he didn't want to scare Haney away, just like what his best friend Usyk did against Chisora).
And by the way, Ortiz had a quick Jab (but not as good as Haney), very fast and skillful footwork (unlike Haney who is flat-footed and stand with his leg so wide apart), throw punches in combination (Something Haney has never done before) and was aggressive like ALL his previous fights and tried to push Loma back (something which Haney HAVE TO DO, but he seems incapable of doing it).
And I'm pretty sure Ortiz would win against Kambo, Diaz, and Linares (the version which faced Haney), so Loma in his last fight (7 months ago) won easily (10 to 2) against a very good opponent.
How Haney would look like against Ortiz?
Unlike Ortiz, Haney cannot throw punches and move back in order to keep distance.
He just can't, because when he threw punches (except for jab) he put his weight on his lead foot, so he can't punch and then step back, he has to duck below the waist (which is illegal, and he does it a lot, but no one talking about it), and then hug or grab his opponent (which is different from clinching, and it is illegal too).
By considering Loma's high guard, Haney's hook would be very useful if he had any, but instead of hook, he has slap!!!
5) "Loma had two lost."

Or watch those fight on 25% speed and try to count each landed punch themselves (landed punch, not touch or slap or miss punch or blocked punch)
Based on "Effective Aggression" (by far the most important criteria to score), and "Defense" Loma didn't lose to Teo (forget the shoulder injury) and won against Solido (forget the low blows).
6) "Haney went to Australia twice and became the champion."
Well, Loma is not from the USA, he did that for his whole career!!!
And Loma mentally is much tougher than Haney, and he is hungry to be undisputed.
But I'm not gonna say, Haney unlike Teo doesn't have power, so Loma wouldn't be afraid of him to close the distance, because I don't think Loma was afraid of Teo's power, he was afraid of his fucked up shoulder.
But in my opinion if Haney won, it means he is better than Loma, he must get full credit for it, and he must be considered one of the best, if not the best.
And I absolutely don't care what those judges decide, I only care about counting landed punches in each round, so if they say Loma won, but Haney out landed him, I would consider Haney the winner.

Haney cant deal with combos. Haneys weight drain was too heavy. By round 8-9 loma gonna catchup with him. I see another bodyshot KO from loma to finish it in 10
Loma can’t deal with distance he struggled with Lopez who has the same reach as loma and Haney controls the distance extremely well and has a 4 inch reach advantage on loma. War did a number on loma idc what anybody says war changes a man’s priorities

@@yungwes20 fighters develop and grow. You will understand when you see this fight. Loma will start faster and close the gap easily. Haney will throw 1 or 2 punch combos and clench but Loma knows that. Haney also not good in the art of "clench fighting" or fighting on the inside. he thinks its "dirty" hence the latest comments from him. but we will see
