Let's hope the clean energy train keeps going. From an electronic engineer - that was probably one of the best overviews of a buck regulator I've heard. I now specialise in power electronics, and I think if I was explained it like that back when I was at uni, I'd have grasped it a lot quicker. You're always slamming your electronics knowledge, but I'd say you have a better grasp than most graduates - they only focus on the maths behind it and have no idea how it practically works!
As a ham radio operator, I find your videos fascinating to watch. I enjoy your stream of talk, too. You've gotten me interested in doing this type of close electronics work again.
Every time I watch you fixing corrosion and failed chips I get kind of nervous that my old Macbook from 2013 may spontaneously fail as well. I wish you had a store in Germany!
When a transistor "turns on" it would "Close" or be a "closed switch" not an "open". And "open" implies an open circuit or an "off" transistor. So when the P channel gate goes low, the transistor turns ON and the switch as it were, CLOSES.

I have a question. I bought a MacBook pro 2012 with liquid damage. I have all the power supplies needed, but when I turn it on, it just beeps 3 times. I also tried changing ram but nothing works. Wich power supply has to be present for the Ram module? thanks in advance!

2:29 Perth, Australia has the best consumer law. Any electronics must last up to 4 years, so even you don't have AppleCare most likely you'll get replacement or free repair. If you are using nvidia the flickering problem is that you have to disable Allow Flipping on the Nvidia X server setiings, Its not Linux is the way nvidia implements its driver on linux.
Happens on Intel GPU as well. I've seen the flipping option for nVidia but not sure it actually fixes this specific issue which seems to be more of an obscured-surface cull optimisation in the X rendering pipe
Regarding the need to buy another monitor, you should just ask the guy/place that takes your e-waste scrap. Why dose the battery not disconnect when it gets wet to prevent electrolysis on the art work. Then the phone is just be wet and when it dries it will turn back on. or just spray the art work with clear acrylic(conformal coat of some kind).
