I went to Kansas once and *lost my mind* watching people work. I visited this company that had over 16 people doing the work that I had 4 people doing.
One person edited the social media videos, the other person filmed them, the other person scripted them - THAT'S ONE JOB
One person packed the product, one person picked the product, one person printed the shipping label - THAT'S ONE JOB!!!!!
and so on, and so forth. don't even get me started on how slow everyone was moving. Absolute insanity. I would've laid off 75% of them on the spot if it were my company.

Power on the chip would merely make it possible to turn on the open drain transistor so the line is pulled low. I would make sure that the pull-up resistor has power; that power being absent could make the line low abnormally. Of course, they might have the same supply so that checking either is checking both.

@@8-bitsteve500 Me too but i did not want to mention the big boys like HP Fujitsu and Lenovo. My customers don't have any problems with their Apple products. Besides sometimes changing the battery which is - not so easy. But thats all. I think Louis is hilarious and sometimes i guess all New Yorkers are as crazy as he is. But of course thats only a stereotype.

Great on Louis, as you say, people need to understand that electronic devices are like old light bulbs, they work, then you switch them off or on and they fuze. From what I understand, it is a cascade effect, one failing, started a failure in a connected chip/piece. Great example of problem solving and analysis. On wasabi- You're actually doing it correctly. You aren't ever supposed to put wasabi in the soy sauce, you are supposed to put it in the sushi itself. At actual sushi bars in Japan it's put inside nigiri automatically and you have to ask for no wasabi if you don't want it. As always, people who want to lecture down to others will be the most sure of themselves when they are dead wrong.
But also you're eating your own personal lunch in the privacy of your own lunch break so who cares

Louis, I am somewhat appalled at the quantity of flux you use. I am not really concerned about that. But what I have never seen in your videos is the end result after U.S, cleaning or simple IPA spray and brush. Just reckon this would be a good (closeup) post repair strategy for your repair videos.
I am so pleased about the NY version of the RTP bill that gained its initial threshold. Congratulations you, your repair team and also the many active supporters you have collected around you.

Apple being Apple… Late fan spin! 😂… Learned that the hard way, sold a a1502 2015 on 2015 and the customer called me to tell me that the fan wasn’t turning on… Spent hours waiting while he took it to Apple to check it, once he found out it was ok he closed the claim, oh! This was on eBay… 😅 and sent from Venezuela… So… was really worried, it was a 23 of December too! 🥲😅😂

Wasabi is the one type of heat you could get away with. It doesn't last and will clean out your nasal cavity.
If it was a really hot pepper, I would ask for a heck of a lot more than $50 for the much longer suffering lol

I’ve eaten a load of wasabi raw accidentally a few times… And honestly, while I wouldn’t eat a load of it like that normally, it wasn’t that bad really. I mean, it burnt of sorts, sure. But it really cleared the sinuses and whatnot. Nice in a way

I'm almost certain that putting the board up to the hakko like that doesn't really cool it the way you think it would. Air blowing on the board would, but a vacuum against the board, thusbresticting the airflow, not so much.
