Drew Carey: Anna think that price of the Chevrolet Impala is $21,495. Drew Carey: Is she right? (Dings) Drew Carey: Are you kidding me?! Are you kidding me?! I've never seen a contestant getting the exact price of the car right from the start. Drew Carey: That was amazing.
Holy cow she got it the first time and I have never seen this with all the years I have been watching this show and Drew Carrey says 'No one ever gets it with the first try'.
@@blind_t2 Barker was running out of time, so he decided to treat this like a viewer has not seen Cover Up before and believes the contestant must get it right on the first try.
0:23 Oh, how I miss Rich Fields. Getting rid of him, along with Roger Dobkowitz and Brandi Sherwood, was one of the most boneheaded things that Mike Richards ever did.
I never understood how no contestant ever figured out that you essentially get an "extra chance" if you purposely miss the first number on the first cover up (odds are you will get the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th number right). You know the number will be right on the second cover up, essentially guaranteeing you a third chance of covering up the numbers. She got it anyways.
Actually, my thing would be to get the 1st digit right, then duff the rest. Trying to work your way down the line, ultimately making it a 50/50 chance if done right. There's much harder combos that work, one which guarantees the win, but the 50/50 is a lot easier chance to go for. Most of the contestants today are picked from the shallow end of the gene pool, so there's little chance of them picking any PERMANENT patterns up.
I would change the rule to three turns, no less no more so you're not punished for getting a lot right the 1st time or rewarded for getting a lot wrong.
One guy did try that and he suffered a humiliating loss without matching a single number. I think the best way to play this is to get the first number right and and the second number intentionally wrong if it's obvious. The first number for a lower trim Impala is obviously a 2. The second number being an 8 is obviously too high for the car, so 1 seems better. Intentionally guess the zero in hopes of getting it wrong; that way you can guess the 1 next time and get yourself an extra turn to guess the last two numbers.
The only other time I saw Cover Up played to perfection was in 1999 by a wheelchair-bound contestant with help from Janice. Those are the only times I've seen it played all the way through without making a mistake.
Boy, no time was wasted in setting off the bells. Sometimes if there's going to be a win, there's usually a 'dramatic pause' before the winning bells go off or the Clangs/Whoops go off as well.
They missed out by not hiring this beautiful blonde to be a barkers beauty! :) Also theres an Awsome video of the first wheelchaired contestant on tpir playing cover up with the help of Beauty Janice Pennington And got it right the first time! it was Terrific!! :)
And would you believe this is STILL the only person to get the price on the first attempt in this game? EDIT: Never mind, I just saw another perfect playing way back when.
bobby burchenal Not very many; in fact, I think this was the first time in the game's history (Cover Up has been played since 1993, BTW) where a contestant actually got every number right on the first try. Since then, there have only been maybe a handful of times where a contestant got every number right on their first attempt.
Yesterday I saw a video called "TPIR, Cover Up Meets its match!" thinking the contestant got the price right on her first try, but it took her 3 times to get it right!...THIS is what I would call "Cover Up Meets its match!" how awesome!
That's because, MojoDinoX, when they played games for cars between 1993-2007, the final 14 years Bob Barker hosted the show, all they played for were P.O.S. gas-guzzling American-made cars instead of superior gas-sipping foreign-made cars. Beginning when Drew Carey took over in 2007, he began going back and forth between American and foreign-made cars, although, within the last 3-4 years, the producers have actually begged Drew to go back to just American-made garbage.
A taping I went to that is on you tube from June 2004 a lady won on the first try . But they hit the buzzer, stopped taping, went back and to where he said the price of the car. When they edited it they couldn't edit out the buzzer because it bled over the other edit.
The TPIR people hit the buzzer when the lady got all 5 numbers right. They stopped taping. They restarted taping at the point where if Bob asks if the price of the car was right. The bells rang BUT when they re winded the tape the buzzer from the original recording bled into the sound of the bells ringing.
This is the only time I've seen "Cover Up" played perfectly.
Someone needs to tell Drew. He continues to state it never happened!
Wow, that's impressive, I don't think I've seen anyone else getting it on the 1st try.
That girl looks better than the model lol
Got that right !
Drew Carey always says that nobody ever gets this right on the first try. Clearly somebody needs to show him this.
Drew Carey: Anna think that price of the Chevrolet Impala is $21,495.
Drew Carey: Is she right?
(Dings)

So now the saying should be ALMOST nobody gets it right
I'm surprised Bob didn't go on his "this is a historic moment" speech lol
yaaaaaaaas! i thought he'd do that! that's what I was expecting
presidentdiddy this was a game that takes forever to win but she did it on the 1st try! That's remarkable!
I’m surprised he didn’t hold up the game by asking if she wanted to change anything and such. That was his last season, as well.
i guess it is quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good place to stream new series online ?
@@blind_t2 Barker was running out of time, so he decided to treat this like a viewer has not seen Cover Up before and believes the contestant must get it right on the first try.
Lol she even had to ask for the kiss, if I was bob, that is what I would of started with lmao

Rich does The New Car so well

llk517 go
what you do is write down the prices of all the items they used in the last 3 months then you should be good

Actually, it's a new CAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I can't be the only one who clicked to here because of what she looked like. Wowza.
Love Rich Fields on Cover Up. It’s a New CARRRRRRR !!!!!!!
We saved the best playing of Cover Up for last with Bob Barker.
I think I heard Drew say no one ever matched it on the first try. He should see this video!
No one has since Drew's been the host.
This is taken from Disc 4 of The Best of The Price is Right 2008 DVD. Right?
Boy, no time was wasted in setting off the bells. Sometimes if there's going to be a win, there's usually a 'dramatic pause' before the winning bells go off or the Clangs/Whoops go off as well.
Anna is gorgeous...just sayin' :-)
It’s a surprise seeing a TPIR clip on a DVD-like quality.
They missed out by not hiring this beautiful blonde to be a barkers beauty! :) Also theres an Awsome video of the first wheelchaired contestant on tpir playing cover up with the help of Beauty Janice Pennington And got it right the first time! it was Terrific!! :)
That was probably Bob Barker's last episode.
No it was not. The final pricing game in the Barker era was Any Number and it wound up as a loss (piggy bank). Was his first game as well.
@@donmccullen1973 This happened during his final week, though.
wow perfection
Anna Lake Is Looking So🔥On The Price Is Right.
she sure is :) !
Anna is alright lookin =)
Judging by the bouncing, I guess she won? I mean, I don't really know. I wasn't paying attention.
Ranni Kaffar Yes, she won, on the first try no less.
Gabrielle Tuite The Price Is Right
She should be one of his models!
How do you play that game?
i didn't know the models from the show can win prizes
And would you believe this is STILL the only person to get the price on the first attempt in this game?
EDIT: Never mind, I just saw another perfect playing way back when.
Do you have a clip/link of that other perfect win?
They gave an easy set of numbers that time.
I wonder why the producers picked Anna from the audience...
or is that what we all were thinking as we watched those balloons bouncing p and down? haha
Anna has such beautiful blonde hair; just wondering why she dyes her roots brown.
God lord..wow
Bob Barker gets all the 'tang.
Wonder how Drew Carey would react if this happened with him hosting?
"wow, she got it on the first try. Good job. We'll be back after this." zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
This clip got me curious, how many perfections in Cover Up are there?
bobby burchenal Not very many; in fact, I think this was the first time in the game's history (Cover Up has been played since 1993, BTW) where a contestant actually got every number right on the first try. Since then, there have only been maybe a handful of times where a contestant got every number right on their first attempt.
Just before his retirement
She's cute :)
Is she Charlotte Flair from WWE? She sounds just like her!!
Was this the first time this ever happened?
Called being a gentleman. Just kidding, he did that for TV. Provably nailed her after show when she went to pick up car.
A Chevy Impala.
thats amazing i bet that will never happen again
Jonathan Moore you lost your bet like 3x already. Happened for drew awhile ago
Yesterday I saw a video called "TPIR, Cover Up Meets its match!" thinking the contestant got the price right on her first try, but it took her 3 times to get it right!...THIS is what I would call "Cover Up Meets its match!" how awesome!
I like her personalety.
@tpir1972 No see a 1999 episode in where a guy in a wheelchair gets everything right. It's on youtube
I think this was Bob Barker's last cover up.
cool
Whaaaaaaaaaat?!

@02grandprixgt--
Down, boy, down!
@catererin He is saying that since she won, she made it a 5 out of 6 day, meaning 5 out of 6 people had won on that show.
She has won!
to my knowledge she is 1 of 2 people who won the car on the 1st try I also remember a gentleman in a wheelchair winning the car on the 1st try
Bob sure did want to give her a kiss leaving her gasping for air.
The latter most likely. XD
SHE GOT IT THE FIRST TRY !!!!!!!!!!!
BLEN

James Bonnen can you say that again just in English this time?
The TPIR people hit the buzzer when the lady got all 5 numbers right. They stopped taping. They restarted taping at the point where if Bob asks if the price of the car was right. The bells rang BUT when they re winded the tape the buzzer from the original recording bled into the sound of the bells ringing.
It's a New CAR!
Woah, they've never given out a car before!
😳 daaaamn she’s uh….
anyone know what the % of doing that on first go is... gotta be way less then a royal flush :S lol
It's a 1 in 720 shot. Take 2 x 3 x 4 x 5 x 6, and there are your odds.
She was the Only one to not win anything in her game.
LOL me too! hahaha
Boobs Boobs Boobs Boobs Boobs
Ryan Wehr yes bouncing up and down when being humped
Hmm, mabye I guess Nicole was a loser at Bonkers. Maybe or maybe not?
For a good 24 seconds I thought her shirt said "Kiss Me Boob" I did stare at her....shirt, long enough to realize it said "Bob"
She had to be a plant. They’re never that perfect.

They don't!
That girl looks better than the model lol
it wouldn't take much to look better than the models on this show lol
