    This is a bigger piece to the puzzle then we may think.
    What other things did Vernon buy that we didn’t know about?!
    Keep them coming Billy you’re on to something big here!!

    • @veganvintagegeek935
      @veganvintagegeek935 6 років тому +4

      And reading how tight fisted Vernon was said to be with money is very interesting, and to learn he bought this ranch, its an absolute eye brow raiser.

    • @veganvintagegeek935
      @veganvintagegeek935 6 років тому +1

      And reading how Vernon was mad at Elvis for buying expensive items, too. 🤔
      And reading how Elvis needed to do those back breaking tours, because of money. Even though Elvis would say how sick and very tired he was toward the end.
      I am reminded of the movie the Treasure Of Sierra Madera. And how crazy the guys became trying to get to the gold.

      Vernon sells this property August 10th 1977. Makes you wonder. Especially since they didn’t own it but for a few years.

      I am writing this comment as I write this and I am watching this for the 2nd time too. I should’ve waited and knew this information because of you. I have also heard there is an old home, very similar looking to Graceland which is very close by to this property that Elvis was possibly interested in buying but it’s just something I have heard. I would like to see that house.

      I will be your Hutch just as long as I don’t have to sing that song he recorded way back when.
      I am watching as I type.
      I know there were some shady deals going on the last year of E’s life.
      From corrupt plane deals to bad racquetball clubs using E’s name.
      You had the chance to ask Dick Grob what he thought, but I feel you didn’t ask him as you just met him and you southern boys are always respectful of your elders.
      I was screaming ask him what he thought about E’s death and the mysteries surrounding it!

    I really enjoy your videos. My wife has been a life long Elvis fan. We live in Kentucky, but she is from Nashville. Over the years I knew who Elvis was but didn't really follow him until here recently. We went to memories theatre in Pigeon Forge, Tn on New Years eve and saw an Elvis show. It was great (Also Marilyn Monroe, Buddy Holly, and Willie Nelson). When we got back to Kentucky, Billy, I don't know what it was, but I started wanting to learn as much as I could about Elvis. Ive watched his songs, videos, etc. After reading countless hours and watching videos(By the way yours are the best, they are so personal and it makes it seem like I am there). I have come to the conclusion(and I am still reading and watching new things every day) that Elvis faked his death on August 16, 1977. Now since then he may have died. Thank you Billy for reading my post and keep up the great work informing us. Jimmy Miller

    I just wanted to thank you for all the insight and stories about Elvis you investigate and report on. My mom absolutely loved Elvis. I remember exactly where I was when she found out he died. I was about 12-13 years old and we were at a police family picnic. My mom was so upset. Even my dad's fellow officer brothers Singing Elvis tunes to her didn't cheer her up. I have recently started researching more info on him. I mean I have always Loved his music, but never really knew much about the man. Thank you for all your tidbits of information. I only wish I had of grown up in those days. His talent was 1 of a kind.

      I read a review from Mary Jenkins (Maid/Cook) book. Elvis sometimes could not stand being at Graceland and around the guys all the time. Mary said Elvis would go off by himself and rent a hotel room from time to time.
      I read in Lucy's book Are You Lonesome Tonight? How much Elvis came to hate the MM. And Lucy asking Elvis how he was able to go off by himself and not have the guys around.
      Thanks to the written review from Mary's book, Elvis Memories Beyond Graceland Gates. It now all makes sense how Elvis was able to meet Lucy and not have the MM around him.
      It is very possible that Elvis "might've" stayed at the ranch.
      That is until The Spa Guy said Vernon sold the ranch a couple of days before Elvis died. 🤔
      What is also interesting is there have been stories written saying how tight fisted Vernon was with all money.
      And for Vernon to buy the ranch, and people/media not knowing about it is very very interesting.🐟

    Wow. I always heard they had a place in Grand Junction, so this makes sense. Moscow instead of Grand Junction. How amazing that it sold just days before EP died?

    question... i am from the Fort Campbell Ky area and I heard Elvis came to a place close by called Palmyra TN. Its where Dee Stanley was from.. also i had heard he'd stop at a diner (on his motorcycle) on hwy 149. It is still there.. just a thought and new idea...to go visit....Palmyra is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Tennessee. It is located along State Route 149, southwest of Clarksville.Wikipedia
