Then Vernon married their mother and collected them from the orphanage and moved them into Graceland for a very short time. Elvis did not want that woman in his mothers home. Elvis soon bought them another house nearby. They moved a couple of times and eventually Elvis had another house built for them on Dolan Street which they moved into in 1964. They talk as if they lived with Elvis at Graceland - they did not. They were brought up on Dolan Street. They were no relation to Elvis. They were his father's wife's kids. By the way, Elvis' father separated from the Stanley woman in 1974. These are the facts. You obviously do not know the terrible salacious lies this family told about Elvis after he died. Vile people. The Stanley brothers have shared some good and bad stories and experiences over the years now they're older maybe they're a bit wiser I don't know but I remember reading the first book We Love You Tender..there wasn't much love in that one it was more like a chronicle of dysfunction and how screwed up they were and how screwed up Elvis was and how he was to blame for all of their problems. Maybe now they see that they were in a priviledged position that many people would have been grateful for -whatever problems they had were of their own making.Elvis did not like their mother Dee Stanley but he didn't let it show for his fathers sake - he took care of her boys because felt an obligation to as a step brother. I don't think they got that.

Elvis hated the gardener at Graceland. On June 4th 1967 my friend and I witnessed him marching down the driveway to the main gate at Graceland. When he approached the gate he made a hard military right and marched straight over to the gardener. He yelled at the gardener accusing him having an affair with Priscilla. The only words the gardener got out was "No, I didn't" then he immediately received a direct fist to his mouth that knocked him cold.
