PSA: For anyone in the US reading this, in case of allergic reaction this severe, please call 911. This is a life-threatening emergency. Emergency personnel has the means to treat with an Epi-pen on the way to the hospital. Steph’s airway could have obstructed completely on their way to the hospital. Also, if you’ve had a previous reaction, chances are the next one will be worse (as it happened to Steph). Steph, I’m glad you’re OK and I’m grateful for Kim’s quick response. Glad you’re looking into immunotherapy and re-queening the hive. Blessings!
Sometimes someone else driving is way faster than ambulance. It does really matter where you are located. My sister for example had a very similar reaction from a hornet in the middle of the night. Our Dad called country doctor cuz hospital was 40 minutes away. Doc told my Dad where to go and he made a 20 minute drive in 6 minutes!!!! Also, note to USE the EPI-PEN if have one. Fear can take over. Don't be afraid to use it. It was made to self inject or if someone else is with you even better!
🙏 "Continued Prayers" 🙏 That was definitely to close for comfort and thank goodness his mom was there for you! You most definitely should have an EpiPen on you at all times! I'm just happy you're okay and like you said, "It wasn't one of the kids! 🥰🙏🌹🙋🏻♀️ XXX's
😢We love you stef😢 get well soon and stay safeA❤ Eh, you still got some veggie at home but leave um to buddy for now. Thank you Buds ya got this 👍 yes for stef 🫶
Steph, I am sorry to hear that you went through that, but so happy that you were able to reach Buddy, that Kim came to the rescue in time, and that you are recovering. Buddy, thank you for taking the time to post this and update us all. Steph, you are one brave woman!!! 💜🐾🐾💜
Wow, how scary was that! Thank goodness Kim was available and able to help Steph. So happy that she is much better. That is terrifying to me. I’ll keep you all in my prayers.
Thank goodness Steph is feeling better. I'm glad Kim was home and took her to the hospital immediately. Thank you Buddy for the update. Prayers for the Denman family. ❤
I know sometimes bees will be in the grass around flowers. Maybe her mower ran over them and stirred them up. Get plenty of rest, your poor body had quite the shock. Sending healing prayers to you Stephanie. Thank you Kym for getting her to the hospital quickly and thank you for the update.
After years of loving tree nuts, I found out the hard way that I'm now allergic. I went in to anaphylactic shock twice. So very sick. Get better soon. I am so sorry Steph 😮❤
Yay, she’s upright! That’s so scary Steph, oh my gosh that’s too close. I have a friend who has a severe nut allergy, and we’ve had a couple of close calls. She carries an Epipen, we all know how to use it, just hope we never have to. So thankful for Kim 💖 and so grateful you’re okay 💞. Rest up, take it easy, we absolutely adore you 💝. Thank you for the updates Buddy, that must have been a huge shock for you too, please take care. Much love from Canada 🇨🇦.
I’ve been stung twice in my life by bees and it hurt so bad and swelled up, I can’t imagine what you went through. God had Kim close by. Prayers for your safety and health every day.🙏💖
So sorry you all had to go through this scary situation. I’m so glad Steph is feeling better. I’m sending lots of positive healing energy to Steph and the rest of the family. Superhero Kim to the rescue. She truly is a blessing.
Thank you for the update. You just can't predict what is going to happen when comes to nature all you can do is be aware. At least Kim was right there and now you have epi pens. Again thanks for letting us know that Stephanie is going to be ok. Have a good one guys
Thank God she is ok. Those bees are no joke when they are angry. I hope when you re-queen the hive they are more docile. Prayers for your recovery. 🙏🙏 The kids need to learn how to apply the epi-pen too.
How are you in the hospital with anaphylactic shock and still look so beautiful!! So sorry this happened to you, so scary, but I'm glad you're doing better. Sending lots of love and quick healing! ❤
Sorry you experienced that Stephanie! That’s so scary! It’s easy to get comfortable around creatures we love but anything can happen. Please be careful everyone on Denman homestead ❤️🙏🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝
So glad Kim was there and got you to hospital in time. I believe also she saved your life. Always keep Epi pen with you in future and lots of luck 🍀 and prayers for you 🙏🙏🙏. 😊
OMG Stephanie, thank you Kim for taking her to the hospital. I don’t think I could be a bee keeper. They are beautiful and are great for our planet but I will admire the bees from a distance ❤️❤️❤️
I am so glad that Kim was home and you are going to be alright. Thank you, Buddy, for posting this video. Bless your heart Stephanie this is twice now. Much love ❤ and prayers ! 🙏 💖
I am so thankful , Steph, that you were able to contact Buddy and he got Kim straight to you! That stuff didn’t mess around…from the back of the garden back to the house and you already had that much swelling…WOW! I’m especially thankful Kim got you into the hospital for treatment so quickly. Thank You, Jesus!
Thank you for the update Steph and Buddy. I saw your short last night and prayed that you would recover. Thank you Kim for the quick response and action. ❤️🙏
So glad Kim was home. Thanks for the update. Maybe just get rid of that hive. It’s not worth getting stung where it puts you in the hospital. So scary. If no one was around, I’d hate to even think about that.
Thank God Kim was there ❤😮 ! This is very serious! ❤ So blessed you are still with us! Please consider gifting the bees 🐝 with the gift back benefit of what you need ❤!
Stephanie, I am so sorry you had to go through that. When I about 12 I was swarmed by a bee hive. I had over 100 stingers removed. I spent a week in the hospital. I wasn't sure that I would still have a reaction to bees, wasps, or hornets since I haven't been stung since. We were working out in the yard at our country property and I was stung by a wasp. I immediately headed towards the house, by the time I was able to get to the back deck I couldn't breathe. I had gone to my doctor the week before and he had prescribed a eppi pen for me because the closest emergency room is 15 minutes away from our rural property. They come in a twin pack and have a test pen to practice with. My youngest daughter just happened to step out the back door and realized something was wrong and immediately ran into the house to get the eppi pen. After the first injection I felt better but still wasn't feeling 100%. We had already called for a ambulance right after I took the first injection. By the time the ambulance had gotten to our house 15 minutes later I had already started having trouble breathing again. My daughter was instructed to give the second injection by the 911 operator but the ambulance had pulled up so I told her to wait to ask them. Once they were able to get a line in and give me medicine I started feeling much better. I will tell you I learned a lesson that day. I always carry my eppi pen with me even if I am just walking from the house to the car. I was also told that after giving the first injection to always go to the hospital to be monitored because once the medicine starts to wear off the symptoms can come back extremely quickly. It was extremely scary not only for myself but for my 27 year old daughter because she just walked out the back door and it's a good thing she realized what was wrong right away because I couldn't speak much less catch my breath. The other thing that you might investigate is to see if there is another hive in your tree line? It may not bee your hive that has caused this. It could be wild hive that's decided to make a home close to your two hives you have? Just a few random thoughts. We found out where the wasp nest was that I had come close too. I had to have someone come remove it because the nest was huge and was between two metal panels on one of our out buildings. I'm so glad Kim was there to get you to the hospital for treatment. Just remember that if you use your eppi pen always go to the hospital afterwards to be checked out. And always carry the eppi pen on you at all times. Thank You for the update on how you're doing. Much Love from our family to your family 💞
Other bees make a nest in the ground she could have ran over it my grandson was stung from yellow jackets borrowed in the ground. So scary so glad Stephanie is ok. Thanks to Kim you all be careful.
This nurse is so thankful you are ok. God was with you, little girl. Thank you, Kim. BTW. Drastic measures for the bees ok Steph. We love you, & get it if you want to rest & recover 💙 no need to post vids for a while. We're not going anywhere ❤ Many prayers for you 🙏🏻 ❤️ I'M SURE EVERY MORROW IS FREAKNG OUT!! THEY ALL, ALL, LOVE YOU SO MUCH. ❤ NURSE JUDI IN SCOTTSDALE AZ AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTER
Oh my goodness Stephanie how scary! I’m so thankful Kim was home and ran to help you. Thank the Lord you are all right! Please take extreme care and stay safe. ❤️🙏
Thank you for the update🙏🏽 I learned so much about bees through your videos and this current incident. So blessed for your quick thinking of using Alexa to call Buddy. Thankfully, Kim was home too. Get some good rest Stephanie💖 Cute dish towel Buddy!🌸🌼🌷🌱
So sorry Steph. I have an allergy to wasps but so far nothing serious. Glad Kim was there for you. You need an epi pen with you at all times. Hugs and prayers
What a scary day. I'm so glad everything worked out and Stephanie is doing better. It's nice that you have a "just in case" plan in place. Thank God Kim was home and was able to get Steph to the hospital. I think it's awesome that people work with bees, they are so helpful and so needed. I could never do it. Have a blessed day!!❤❤❤
Bee prepared! God work for sure! Thank God for Alexa, Kim being so close by and available and the wonderful doctors and nurses at the hospital. Continued prayers for a healthy recovery and that nothing like this happens again. 🙏
Stephanie so glad you are okay. Those bees are no joke. Please stay away from them and let Buddy or Pop take care of the box replacement and re-queening! Thank God, Kim was home and able to take you to the hospital and get you the care you need. Buddy interesting you say the bees didn’t attack you while you were mowing. That is very interesting. Please continue to keep us updated on Stephanie and what’s going on with the bees.
I mowed over a hive that was dug into the ground. I was stung about 20 times in the back of my legs. I ended up with Cellulitis… Sending positive of thoughts and prayers ❤️🙏🏻❤️…
I'm very glad that you're doing good now. I know first hand how dangerous bees can be, but never experienced an attack, let alone the 2 you've endured. 😮. I'm praying for a speedy recovery. ❤😊
Thank you, Lord for being with Steph and for Kim being home. Lord, I pray for Steph that You will protect her from any future bee stings. Help her to recover completely from all these horrible bee stings. Keep her, Buddy and the children safe from all harm. Thank you, Lord in Jesus name amen Love you guys
OMG Stephanie, I am so sorry that happened to you. I started crying when you said you were glad it didn't happen to one of the kids. Stay safe sweet lady. ❤
So glad so OK. My husband had an attack I know how scary this is. Sending prayers and thanking Kim for keeping a straight head and getting you to the hospital..She really did save your life..
Thank you Jesus you're ok!! Thank you to living so close to family! Thank you also for sharing all this with us so that others can be aware. Much love and prayers from South Carolina
A friend of mine , son was mowing two doors down, tried to get home, had forgotten his epi pin, no one was at home, he passed away! Leaving a wife and 2 kids..It was so sad. Keep that epi pin with you at all times!! So glad you are O.K. Love you guys.
I’m so happy that she’s going to be OK. That’s the thing about allergic reactions once you have one every time you’re exposed to again it gets worse so she definitely needs to be very very careful
Oh I pray things are better. My husband passed away from a sting. It took only minutes for him to be gone. Keep the epipen with her at all times. Praying for fast recovery. He was only 55.
So glad you were able to call for help and Kim responded quickly. I know a Dr. Who died because he was attacked by bees while mowing. He actually gave himself a shot of an epipen but didn’t call for help. I have allergic reaction to bees and suppose to have an epipen but I’m bad about not having one. My sister has anaphylaxis to nuts and just the smell of them sends her into anaphylaxis and she carries 3 pens, Benadryl and inhalers. It’s scary.
Steph, I'm happy you had your phone and you were able to call buddy. Kim is a savior for sure, and I understand firsthand how scary that is. you need to put your health first. I would not go anywhere near that bee hive without a bee suit on. Please rest, Buddy will take good care of you💗
Shes the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen In a hospital bed. Poor steph. You are a bright and shining light. Praying for you to heal and feel better. We love you Steph!
PLEASE ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EPIPEN NEAR!!! THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!! Please be safe!!!!
It sure is. This scared me, not gonna lie.
