Another great video from Steve and Alex - Bricklayers Extraordinaire! Simple job made bloody difficult by tiny inconsequentialities which when combined cause vocabulary-improving setbacks. Still, as they say, a problem is only a question looking for an answer. And you guys answer it correctly, time after time. Good job fellas.
😁🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Berry's: best builders merchants ever. The knowledge of the counter staff is great.
🤙🏾🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Hi Steve &Alex. Good luck with your opp Steve and quick recovery. Great jobs guys. May have set backs but you two always sort them out. Great team as always have a good week 👍
Cheers Buddy 🧱👍🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽
Good luck with the op Steve. You probably know this but wrightington hospital pioneered the worlds first hip transplant. My mother-in-law had both knees and both shoulders replaced there and they were fantastic.
. A great place just need them to get me in now 🙄🧱👍🏽
Good on you Steve people like him makes me sick , negative negative and jealousy 😡💪
Cheers Malc 🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱👍🏽
I also agree. Must be embarrassing at times for the boys, I mean clients and potential clients read this stuff. I’d totally ignore them Guys, your replies to them feed their minimal intellect. Cheers George 🇦🇺
Cheers George 🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱👍🏽
Another superb job guys, hope your operation goes well Steve and you are back to form soon. Great job Alex & Steve 👍
I hope so too 🥺🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild I’m in hospital at the moment having had 12 inches of my large bowel removed last Monday. Hopefully on the mend now and ready to watch more of yours and Alex’s superb videos. Cheers guys.

Quality job on the toothing I too love a good toothing job and the bricks match well
Cheers buddy 🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
The saying is "assumption is the mother of all f..ups" however Ray Rainman has a better version. When he makes a mistake he says, "I love my job so much I do it twice". Nice to see Alex have a smashing time with the window. I know, crap joke but it's the best I can do on a Monday night. As for your hip, my friend had his hip done using "key hole surgery" back in January and was walking 2 days later. After a month, he was back at work. Just for the record, I'm a Brit living in Poland. Just as a side note, you have a great lad with all the help he gives. Well done both of you.
Thanks very much pal 🤙🏾🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Hi Steve and Alex , jobs coming on and looking good👍👍😃😃 , I do have a question though , on the inside of the new extension looking out right hand side door gap , the small bit of wall where your tying into your new brick work , would of been a good idea to tie into the old paint wall as well for strength ?
We did 😁🧱👍🏽
Good on ya lads, great father and son team
Cheers Gary 🧱👍🏽
Nice work well done 👍
Thanks pal 🧱👍🏽
Funny you mentioning 80s stonewash.. A friend of mine was a brick layer back then and he always wore the complete assamble, and was known as Stonewash Steve!
🤣🤣🧱👍🏽
Lovely job boys.
Cheers Lee 🤙🏾🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Hope the op went well and you're on the road to recovery!
No Barry 🥺😢🧱👍🏽
another great job who could fault anything you do and thanks for the video
Cheers Eddie 🧱👍🏽🤜🏽🤛🏽
Alex, a few strips of duct/masking tape on the glass helps prevent chards flying all over the place and its easier to clean up. Steve , hope the op has gone well
Me too 😬🥺🧱👍🏽
All the best for your Op' Steve whenever it happens......Hope it all goes perfectly matey. And Alex, bit of criss/crossing with duct tape on the glass makes it much safer and really easy for clean up, especially if you do it both sides....Super vid as always lads, Saludos desde España mi amigos.
Cheers Malc 🫣🧱👍🏽
yep i had had a few jobs go like this but you stuck with it and great work

Hi Steve hope you get your hip sorted soon buddy , no fun working in pain at all , can I ask when you are recovering what will Alex be doing? As we may be able to offer him something as we north west based
Hopefully it will be soon 😬.
We have a couple of small jobs lined up plus some of the other lads we work with will let him jump in .
Thanks for the kind offer though 🙏🏽🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild no worries glad he's got something sorted well you'll be able to just think about getting back fit take care buddy
@haskey23 Cheers Buddy
🤜🏽🤛🏽🧱👍🏽
A big bailer like the one you saw on the field builds bales from front to back. There is a chute down the center of the bailer the size of a bale, and about two bales long from the working face at the front to the end of the tailgate.
New material is added to the working bale in slices at the front. As each slice is added, it pushes the working bale backwards by the thickness of the slice. The working bale pushes the previous bale backwards. Eventually the previous bale is only supported on its front half by the tailgate, and it falls off.
If the bailer isn't moving it isn't picking up material, and isn't adding slices to the front of the working bale. So the bale doesn't move backward, and won't push the finished bale off the end of the tailgate.
So that bailer most likely wasn't jammed, at least not in terms of being able to poop the finished bale off the back. There may have been a problem with the needles or knotters at the front, and they might have stopped to fix that.
🤯😁🧱👍🏽
Bet ur glad that 1 is done!!!!
Absolutely 🫣🧱👍🏽
Respect 🫡

Hi Steve and Alex, I have so much to catch up on. I alternate You tube subjects and been watching Mountain Goats climb cliff faces for the last 3 months. Did you fall Steve or is it just wear and tear? Cheers 🇦🇺

You mention your hip op. Hopefully, you are at home and your hip is fixed. It's been very painful for me to watch never mind you!! Now on the mend???
