As an nurse, our unit had to ban popcorn in the microwave, because so many people burned it. The smell then lingered throughout the unit for the entire shift, plus patients smelled it, too.

On education, as a just retired educator it was so frustrating having parents tell you what to teach but wouldn’t take 10 minutes a day to read to their kids, or help with sight words, or help them learn their multiplication tables. It was just beyond me.
As a solo mother...no co parent, no support all I can say is...I have NO EXTRA TIME! My daughter is in kindergarten and comes home with over an hour of homework every damn night! I work 2 fucking jobs! Not to mention she is autistic...so all of her therapies etc. This is ALL on me! My ex isn't safe to be around so here we are. I'm sorry some ppl just honest to god don't have the time or energy to deal with all of this! If rents weren't fucking out of control I wouldn't have to work 72+hours just to make my bills, her co pays for therapy etc....sometimes we just don't have it to give! I know many parents just like me. It's wrong but don't blame parents blame the ruling class for making it like this for ALL of us.
Yeah it's amazing how many parents refuse to help their kids do their homework and see teachers as basically babysitters... And if their child doesn't learn correctly it's always the teacher's fault

I retired from New Mexico State Parks where, among cleaning bathrooms, driving a backhoe and fixing water main leaks, I was also a first responder. Not by profession but by the fact that I happened to the staff present at the time. When the woman scuba diver was pulled from the lake unconscious, thankfully her fellow diver was a medical professional who gave her mouth to mouth immediately. Being a scuba diver myself, I knew that getting a diver on oxygen was imperative in those circumstances and saw to it that somebody brought the bottle over and we got it flowing underneath the pocket mask we all carried. She recovered fairly quickly, before the EMT's arrived. Was I valuable? I got a Life Saving Award, but we all did. Heroics involved? Not really. Everyone did what was obvious, logical, had been trained for. You, Congressman, are the only hope for my class. The Working Class. Unless we unite in a French Revolution mass of humanity, we will be crushed. We are literally fighting for our lives.

After working for a regional airline for over two decades. I use to carry a manual 8x8 and 10 lbs. Then, the airline switched to a link device. You have to have that device at 80% charged and updated. Sometimes, they poop out. Yes, the company requires a manual printed. It's is a mess if you have to look up something. An for the passenger that spoke to the flight calling her names. That is a level one threat and should have been removed. I wouldn't have let them on the plane for one. This reminds me of the time years ago, it may still hold today. There were office, and company policies restricting perfume in offices, spaces where people worked closely together, elevator, etc. I understood this on a personal level because I would get instant migraines from certain perfumes, not all. Passion, Opium, Georgie Girl, White Diamond, etc were popular. People having asthma attacks in elevator,etc. The restrictions, I believe, was to show consideration for other people. I don’t wear perfume at my sister’s house. Back then we didn’t get all caught up in our rights to do anything we wanted.

Humiliation, intimidation, and bullying are three things that should NOT for any reason be allowed in government. It violates the narrative, and it is not what democracy is about.
I knew this was fear and loathing related. It infuriates me to think they are surrendering to this bullying and intimidation because of a potential tweet.

I worked in an office that you couldn’t reheat fish, or cook microwave popcorn. The fish would stink up the office and everybody would complain and the microwave popcorn smelled so good that everybody wanted it so both of those things were banned!!
I agree with the social no cooking fish where we all work at pumps, and another thing, you can't eat beans when you have to work the next day in a shared office space! Save the dam beans for a day that your off after you ate them the night before, nobody wants to smell and hear your farts all day long!
Along the fish line is also perfume wearing colleagues bathing in the stuff or extremely offensive scents.
