@@crimtheidiotgenius3694 and realistically Thor would absolutely demolish him. Baldur can't recover quickly and by then Thor would already regain his stamina and what not

In Thor’s defense he got hit with the axe that had, the world serpents poison on it. That the poison supposed to kill him in Ragnarok. That’s why he does not regenerate that cut on his stomach.
Speed goes to Thor. He can literally fly and use Mjolnir to teleport himself. (We can see that in the game as Thor doesn't jump over the "stair" thing but teleports over)
@@erakerimjan2112 Yes? Both gives him speed advantage considering these two options allows him to go from point A to point B in a short amount of time.
@School scooter And we understand that but you see what you really have to keep in mind is that Baldur is blessed with invulnerability to all threats: physical or magical.
I love the way that Baldur fights, very unpredictable and the windup-uppercut punches are so funny to watch (in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, the beginning of the game, when he punches Kratos this way and Kratos flies over the house). He is more unorthodox in his fighting style while Thor is far more similar to Kratos in terms of fighting style
I dunno, I just enjoyed Baldur much more overall. The first time I played GoW and played through the first fight with Baldur, it was the most fun I had playing a game in a very long time at that point. And that moment during the finale when Baldur just comes walking out of the arctic water like a total boss because he can't feel the freezing temperatures was so badass.
Also it’s just really beautiful. Man can finally feel something. He can finally feel snow as he dies. It’s the beginning of the end for everyone else. Idk it’s just a really powerful line to end on
@datboy038 yeah i do. Are you under the impression that is somehow to his advantage? He doesn't come back immediately. In-game it was like hours before we saw him again. More than enough time for a god to regain strength to snap that crackheads neck again. I also highly doubt thor is gonna hold back so baldur's neck is getting snapped much quicker too Thor breaks baldur's neck indefinitely until either baldur gives up or thor finds mistletoe. That's how that will play out
and Kratos DID beat Thor, and just spare him trying him to wake up to reality (not to mention kratos could have literally ripped thors head off if he was not holding back)
Thor gets IQ. Odin literally says “his mind was gone” and is constantly sending Baldur on missions and ridiculously claiming he’d be fixed from it’s outcome and he believed him.
so was thors. thor stopped caring a long time ago and was drinking himself to death. plus odin said on multiple ocations that hes their for his power not his thoughts or feelings. they both werent the most inteligent
yes, Thor is the superior one in terms of Battle IQ. Kratos himself implied it in his journal when he compared Thor to Baldur. Baldur being someone who just uses everything he has to hurt you as much as possible while Thor while being playful actually fought in a measuring manner
@School scooter I did, but I chose not to say anything. It would be pointless cause Baldur is blessed with invulnerability to all threats, physical oooor magical. Except for Thanos, when he gets all six infinity stones, he's basically a God at that moment.
If Baldur wasn't dead by the time of Ragnarok, he'd totally be the guy to go with Loki in Muspelheim instead of Thor. Think about it. Can't feel anything, so send him to the most dangerous environment. Or maybe just let him stick his arm in lava while cackling wildly.
Yep but Ragnarok happens because of baldurs death. Because the guy can't die unless something very specific happens, the end of time doesn't really happen either. Baldur is the bringer of fimblewinter
Except if we're talking about the Baldur that's still cursed then he automatically wins because no matter how many fights he loses he will come back almost instantly to fight some more, eventually waring down Thor enough to beat him
I could see a really cool fight between them where Thor finds out the vulnerability, and it becomes him trying to force balder toward mistletoe like flinging him through the realms while trying to defend himself
Only problem is that baldur literally cannot die, and since Thor doesn't have mistletoe, he can't kill baldur. No chance Thor ever wins this. And to all you whiny bastards saying Thor can just repeatedly incapacitate him, baldur wouldn't feel it so he'll just keep rushing Thor until he gives up. Plus Thor can't remove the curse.
Neither does Baldur. Kratos made this pretty clear in his journal that Baldur fought wildly and his only goal was to inflict pain that was it. Thor is actually smarter than Baldur in fights tbh he bonked Kratos in the head with a returning Mjolnir even calling Kratos stupid for that and saw Kratos plan to use the tree to hit him
I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. Those go hand in hand, so the same person wins all those categories. So 1 category “overall power” would definitely suffice. But again it was meant as a jokey comment, guess not.
Not really a blessing. That’s quite depressing, not being able to feel anything emotionally too, when walking, eating you’re basically just an npc with 4 senses. Combat wise it’s helpful but lifestyle wise especially when surrounded by alcoholics and people full of party energy I can see how he lost his sanity.
@@josemariantoniofajardo2941 he did not, Thor was literally playing around in the first fight and had JUST fought jormungandar literal moments before he fought kratos the second time. Thor is that guy
That's because no other weapon can withstand the might of Thor. No seriously, that's one of the reasons he likes Mjolnir so much. It's indestructible and Thor had a problem with weapons breaking under his strikes. But Thor was killing frost giants long before he obtained it. Thor is the mightiest of the Aesir. They go to him when they need a giant killed. In game, it was not Mjolnir that sent The World Serpent back in time. It was Thor.
It’s kinda confused me about this: When Kratos use his axe to chop Thor stomach but the wound won’t regenerate it because the venom of The World Serpent but when it hit Bardul he’s can still regenerate it which mean Bardul can resist again the venom right?
maybe Thor just didn't bother to heal his wounds or he doesn't have ability to do so. Baldur was vulnerable in the final fight, and his wounds still got healed.
Baldur: KOd World Serpent in 3 hits Thor: Had an amusing battle with it and then got tired and 1 shot it THRU TIME, INTO THE PAST! (Even Kratos was like "wtf, How?") Baldur: jumps around fast Thor: can literally fly at super speed Baldur: Strong enough to tire Kratos after their first fight Thor: literally Killed Kratos during their first fight, was disappointed that it ended so quickly and instantly revived him Its pretty clear that even with Baldurs insane durability, Thor can still pull a Kratos and mess him up so bad that he may not die but will definitely be in recovery for a bit.

Realistically, Baldur would just keep coming back after Thor repeatedly kills him, wearing the latter down in the process.
Not really. It takes Baldur days to recover. Remember in the first fight Kratos snapped Baldur’s neck and we didn’t see him again til way later. By that point Thor would be all healed up

He had a sad story. Doesn't change the fact that he's a psycho murdering freak.
Even without the curse, Baldur showed more endurance than Thor. Dude took many attacks from the blade of chaos and the axe in the final battle and managed to fight as if nothing had happened. Not to mention that after these damages, Baldur already appeared without scars.
In Thor’s defense he got hit with the axe that had, the world serpents poison on it. That the poison supposed to kill him in Ragnarok. That’s why he does not regenerate that cut on his stomach.

So cool to tho k that Baldurs final words being ‘snow’ alludes to the fact that his death marks the beginning of Rangarok
Fimbulwinter, yeah
Also it’s just really beautiful. Man can finally feel something. He can finally feel snow as he dies. It’s the beginning of the end for everyone else. Idk it’s just a really powerful line to end on

@datboy038 yeah i do. Are you under the impression that is somehow to his advantage? He doesn't come back immediately. In-game it was like hours before we saw him again. More than enough time for a god to regain strength to snap that crackheads neck again. I also highly doubt thor is gonna hold back so baldur's neck is getting snapped much quicker too
Thor breaks baldur's neck indefinitely until either baldur gives up or thor finds mistletoe. That's how that will play out

@School scooter it was a problem for kratos it wasnt until his curse was removed he was able to beat him
If Baldur wasn't dead by the time of Ragnarok, he'd totally be the guy to go with Loki in Muspelheim instead of Thor.
Think about it. Can't feel anything, so send him to the most dangerous environment. Or maybe just let him stick his arm in lava while cackling wildly.
It would also be really cool to just watch him fight off enemies
Yep but Ragnarok happens because of baldurs death. Because the guy can't die unless something very specific happens, the end of time doesn't really happen either. Baldur is the bringer of fimblewinter
When i hear after dark in other vids except yours it feels so bland but in your vids it feels pretty nice
A fight i would pay to watch

I could see a really cool fight between them where Thor finds out the vulnerability, and it becomes him trying to force balder toward mistletoe like flinging him through the realms while trying to defend himself
can you make a baldur edit with this music and just baldur? no powerscaling just baldur
