    I would have preferred to give the water some rest until stuff had a chance to sediment. Then I would have filtered with one or two coffee filters. At least a sufficient amount of chlorine water disinfectant. However, an at least semi-professional water filter would be more helpful but also more cost intensive and more weightful.

      Haha. Coffee filters are good. On my adventure this summer I will use the Grayl water filter. I got hi hopes for that one.

      @@biketouringnature That might be a good water filter. I have no personal experience with that product. However, I would prefer sediment first and thne filter with a coffee filter prior filtering with the Grayl water filter. This is helpful, especially, when the water comes from a dirt water source.
