Congrats on the 400 subs. 👍
Thanks! A new 40 day adventure is coming soon😀
Another great video Sir. Do you reccomend the Fjalraven Keb Jacket? Does it hold off the rain while riding?
It hold ok with waterproofing spraying before the adventure. But now one year later I need to waterproof it more often.
@@biketouringnature Thank you for the intel. Fjalraven also do a fjallraven greenland wax which can be applied to G1000 materials such as the Keb jacket.
I am surprised that you are followed by so few. Your trips are an inspiration of what true freedom is.
Thank you! I have many videos prepared for you.
Gud vid 👍
That's exactly how I'd describe cycling in the rain: 'manageable, but not fun'. I guess that last year you toured during July. Here in Värmland, I recorded 24 days when it rained that month. That was the most I'd recorded for any month. That was followed by August with 25 days of rain! I got very lucky last summer during my six week tour, when the only day during late May and the whole of June that saw anything more than a few drops was the last day of June.
Crazy. The problem with the weather in Sweden is that it get stuck all the time😀 this summer was a disaster. All bad things that never went wrong got wrong.
Youth tent looks to have plenty of head room and I am searching for something like this, please let me know the name of the tent you are using. Very enjoyable videos, thank yo👍😉
Thank you! The tent is a fjällräven abisko view 2. I love it.
Watching this one now 👍
Nice
Are there no Bothys around where you can sleep? We have them here in the UK back packers use them.
I never make up fires. But cosy to sleep in between two fires😀🪷🌲🍄🐟
It looks like the river flooded. Lovely area. Gud vid
Around 7:45.... I couldn't see what was hanging from the trees but could it bee that the spring flood raised the river so much that it deposited a bunch of debree all the way up there? That's quite impressive. It must be at least 1.5 meters above the current level.
Man needs free space.
Yeah!
Gud vid👍
Cyklade samma väg förra året! Känner igen det konstanta regnandet och kampen med solpanelerna ;D
Men året innan var det fint väder. Helt annan känsla då. Det äventyret finns på kanalen också
No two legs... Just four legs. 😊 Good.
Is this the first 50 days in a row series or a new 50 days in a row series!?
This is the second.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. 👍1
Thank you!
Great video. Thanks.
You can charge your powerbank in public libraries. That's what I used to do when bikepacking Scandinavia. You can even hide them somewhere in the library to let them charge overnight, then come pick them up the following morning.
Thanks for the tip. But right now I'm fully loaded with 100 000 milli ampere😀🍄🌲🪰🐜
Great video! Beautiful land scape! Thanks for taking us along on your ride!
Thank you!
Where is this place? looks very beautiful
The area around falkvålen. See the map in the beginning of the episode for details
Hello good job je me suis abonné
It looks like there was a big forest fire there. I bet there are blueberries there! I know a few places like that in Canada where there has been a fire and the soil is thin, the birch grow far apart, lots of light reaches the ground, these are the best spots for blueberry foraging.
Did't know about that. Interesting🌲🍄🐜🪷
The music is a nice touch
Thank you! I whrite and record it myself with real instruments.
Thanks,good conent,love nature,camping n bikes
Thank you! I will make more videos😀🌲🍄🐜🪰🪷

Wonderful landscape and your music perfekt in the nature video
Thank you for sharing. The beauty of Swedish nature appears unparalleled, and the drone shots in the video are amazing. Watching this brings back memories of when I embarked on a traditional tour many years ago, cycling for seven consecutive days. I used a similar folding Anker 21W solar panel to charge my battery bank, which was mounted on the bike for continuous charging. After such a trip, returning home makes everything, from tap water to the toilet, seem somehow new and strange in a way I can’t describe. It’s a reminder of how much we take for granted in our everyday lives. Wishing you strength on your journey.
Exactly! A lot happends inside your self in a long trip like that. I long for my summer adventure. I go to south Sweden
Nice video. Thank you for sharing. 👍19
Nice video. Can I ask the name of that jacket u wearing. I need to get one .
Thank you! It's a fjällräven Keb Eco-shell jacket.
I think the creature is the nymph of a froghopper (Philaenus). It's the one that lives inside the 'cuckoo spit' bubbles (at least, that's the English name). If our clothes or tent brush against the bubbles, the nymph (young insect) can become dislodged and we can see it walking along like this. It will find another plant and make new bubbles. This one is quite young but you can see the wings are beginning to grow. Great wonder in small things. I enjoyed your video and your music very much.
Thank you! Yeah! Great wonders in small things. I will find more in my next adventure this summer.
Good job. However, my mind would freak out if I would plan each daily route for my Sweden tour in August 2024 each only in the morning for the ongoing day.
I think: 25 days north and 25 days south
I would have preferred to give the water some rest until stuff had a chance to sediment. Then I would have filtered with one or two coffee filters. At least a sufficient amount of chlorine water disinfectant. However, an at least semi-professional water filter would be more helpful but also more cost intensive and more weightful.
Haha. Coffee filters are good. On my adventure this summer I will use the Grayl water filter. I got hi hopes for that one.
@@biketouringnature That might be a good water filter. I have no personal experience with that product. However, I would prefer sediment first and thne filter with a coffee filter prior filtering with the Grayl water filter. This is helpful, especially, when the water comes from a dirt water source.
I have always liked to adventure outside. At some point bikepacking videos began showing up on my UA-cam feed. That caused me to search locally for ideas. I found a group event for people to meet other bike packers and signed up. That was my first time bikepacking. It was a simple overnighter ride. I've been hooked ever since.
So it started with the will of going out on adventure.
Great trip. Hope you enjoy it.
Yes! Very much. Can't wait for my next adventure
Är du svensk?
Jag är svensk
Swedish Mosquito: "I give this person 7 out of ten. It was quite sweet but there was an after taste of Earl Grey and some repellant i dont know why they make us eat repellant i wish there was more organic variety for us mosquitoes i dont think we get the same EU privileges as other groups. But over all i would give this a good review for lack of choice in the area and also animal hair makes it harder to taste them and give a review"
Haha. They destroy so much of the pleasure.
Every breath you take in that nature is full with life power all around you. You are also a source of life for the creatures and non moving beings there.
Easyer to get that feeling when being in the nature. I'm waiting for my next adventure right now. Longing for that feeling
Great video. Thank you for sharing. subd & 👍30
Thank you. It makes me continue.
Why did I begin cycle touring? When I was eighteen, I took a two-month Greyhound bus tour through the U.S.A., and Canada. Even though my focus was on the national parks- visiting eight of them- I realised that travelling in this way, I'd missed so much. I knew that to really experience the true nature of a country, one needed to be going as slow as possible. Thus, sixteen months after the conclusion of this bus journey, I embarked on my first extensive bicycle tour, of ten months. Now, I can look back on five years of my life spent exploring by bike. Destinations were largely unimportant, the day to day journey was the essence of the adventure. Tack for another video Olle.
Nice to read your story. Sometimes I feel like you did but going from cyceling to hiking.
Did you watch Iohan Gueorguiev's bikepacking videos yet? They are on a completely different level from anything else on UA-cam, he even used licensed professional music and he literally lived off his fat bicycle full time for many years, camping in the wilderness. He's the reason I started.
Yeah! I like Iohan. Sad that there will not be any more Iohan videos.
@@biketouringnature I know, UA-cam will probably never be as good as it was in those days. Maybe someone will pick up the torch.
@@CanadianSledDog in time I will try
hey - nice video. How's the elite e5 bike been for you? i'm hoping to do some bike packing and want to ask if you like it for long rides in terms of comfort? do you feel the need for suspension?
I like it. Light, stable and fast. For this adventure I was fine with out suspension.
We call it a Rapid where the water runs down like that.
Put a condom on it😁 the phone 👍 hello from 🏴
It seems you can live outside and be left alone. Gud vid
