Long video today. Like this comment if you enjoyed the video. Love you all. André.🙏
there were more illegal's coming from mexico than there were natural american births last year.
If I were you I would leave this topic alone because it's going to bring in a LOT of infighting in your comments.
Pretty much the only reason I'm commenting since I will not watch what is most likely a political propaganda video.
The fact of the matter is legislation to work On the US border is in Congress right now and the republicans are stalling going even as far as to fail the measure because it will make the current President look good to the public. (not kidding you can look it up)
@@douglascampbell9809 Ty for the comment, but I felt I shared my view the most honest away... Propaganda? At the end of the day this video was done on the ground. Sure we all have some bias but I felt this was a nice video. I agree this is a complex topic. But talking with respect does not hurt anyone.

Exactly right. We are a welcoming people as long as you come here legally.

Why don't they come legally?
55 Texas here. Just found your channel yesterday, and I subscribed immediately. If you decided to immigrate to USA legally, we would LOVE to have you. Three videos in, and I can already tell that you are an incredible person. It was so refreshing to watch your videos on our national parks. It is so rare - at least it seems - for Europeans (and the rest of the world) to show appreciation for our country.
Wow! I was the one watching until the very end. I live in Arizona, I knew things were bad but holy smokes this was eye opening
There has actually been a negative Mexican immigration in 10 of the last 11 years. So, that means the vast majority are from somewhere else.
Im pro immigration, but if youre pro illegal immigration youre willing to sacrifice innocent women and kids to sex trafficking and gangs so you can get cheap labor and sound nice for some reason.
the US funded right wing military coups in many latin american countries causing mass violence, now that those folks are trying to escape for safety and economic reason the very same country that caused that destabilization deals with the flood of immigrants from central america who pass through mexico
100% correct.. most people able to work in mexico can work at their factories and like the U.S. We all know the brands, Canada as well have factories.
i mean, mexicans still make up the largest percentage of people crossing. but that percentage is 16%. the rest of it are people from other countries, but no one else comes in as concentrated of a number.
The problem is the Mexican border will never be closed the American economy depends on Mexico @@jishani1it brings in billions in profits for Texas California Arizona.... a lot of top Mexican companies are in bad with a lot of American companies... here's a great example TracFone // T-Mobile AT&T Verizon at the time Sprint.... all four companies had to deal with TracFone TracFone would use all four companies Towers.... and then each company would pay TracFone to use all four companies Towers at a discounted price.... the cell phone companies have raised our prices over the last 10 years the government has lost about 14 billion dollars because of TracFone..... that's why T-Mobile Verizon and AT&T we're all in a hurry to buy TracFone
This sheriff is amazing. He has compassion for the people who are his biggest problem.
I live in Tucson, AZ. Over the last 30 + yrs, the problem I’ve personally dealt with has been due to me being a Trauma nurse. I’ve taken care of so many illegals who have almost died walking in the desert during the summer, fallen that 32 ft off the wall and end up with broken bones and internal injuries, others have been injured due to the coyote crashing a vehicle in a car chase with Border Patrol. This ends up being a huge monetary drain on my hospital, Border Patrol has to pay officers to stay at the patient’s bedside until they are discharged. I truly understand why they want to find a better life, but the money drain is insane.
They are breaking the law. Not a great start for a new citizen. We can't and shouldn't take them all.
It's much more of a drain housing and feeding people who need housing and jobs. We have a huge deficit, if people come here an orderly fashion then places can be found. If in a huge wave like what happened then you should consider the people who have been here for 3 years with no housing, living 5 per hotel room eating beans everyday. Even they themselves thought they would have a better life and it is not better.
We used to live in Marana, Gila Bend and Coolidge. Our boys were in the Scouting program. You can’t hike safely in the mountains because of the drug cartels.
As an American. I have a problem with them crossing illegally.
55 thank you for bringing light to the problem.
I watched the entire video. I love your long format videos. Keep up the great work!
I am glad you're covering this more people need to see
I knew it was bad about the border, but this video was a big eye opener. 55 with Texas.
Good to talk to those who actually deal with it on a daily basis.
You should watch this guys channel. He does videos of everywhere in America. And he covers American life extensively. Watching his videos will give you so much information that will give you a lot of understanding about America. He’s a fair guy not bias. I’m going to give you his name. His name is Peter Santenello.
Agree. Peter is AWESOME!
He puts out quality content.
Tribal lands are semi-sovereign Native American lands. These are lands that were, by treaty, guaranteed to be for Native American tribes. They are technically not part of the United States. The US government has limited authority on tribal lands. They are operated by the tribes (police forces, governments, laws) and work, more or less, with the United States government. There are different tribal reservations in quite a few states, but mostly out west.
Federal reservations are held in trust by the U.S. federal government. Federal laws apply on reservations. Congres has broad authority over federal reservations.
And yet the rest of the citizenry pays the bills on the Res.
There are intergovernmental agreements that allow different law enforcement agencies to work on tribal lands.
I'm so glad that you didn't shy away from this topic! I was worried, because you seemed so worried about your last video, that you wouldn't keep looking into it if it interests you. Like I said in the last video... Close The Boarder!!! Hi from Indiana :)

I would just like to shout out Peter Santenello. He does really exceptionally great, long-form journalism, basically full documentaries. And for my money, it's really impartial and open, and he sticks to conventional journalistic ethics. He does mostly interview style, but he throws in quite a bit as well, on top of good videography. I would not hesitate to tell anyone they could safely draw their own conclusions from his videos, because after watching you'll have a very clear, honest picture of whatever he's documenting. Imo, you can trust his information and documentation, no matter where you sit in the political divides, or what opinions you already hold. Verify if you want to double check -- always a good idea -- but until you hear the contrary about any particular piece, this is a good info source.
We welcome well vetted immigrants who are here to HELP better our country...not come in with their hands out demanding free everything. They need to have a plan to support themselves LEGALLY!!! Not dealing drugs!!
Whe i lived in Texas an illegal was living in a huge 5 bedroom house next door to me. Drug traffic all night long!!! The was finally arrested. A huge team of law enforcement in full gear surrounded their house (also in my yard and behind my fence and house!!!) Scary and exciting at the same time!!! His wife and kids had to move. Crazy thing is that it was a nice neighborhood.
Just to clarify. Chiefs of police are appointed by the mayor of a city or other municipality. Sheriffs are elected officials.
Love your channel!
As an American I welcome people who come to our country LEGALLY. America is a melting pot and we LOVE that about ourselves. JUST COME HERE LEGALLY!!

Oh! I LOVE this film maker!! You should check out his Appalachian series. As someone from Kentucky, he did an incredible job showing the real people of our region.
The Appalachian series is excellent.
So Tribal Land or more formally known as a Native Reservations, when American was expanding west, it "signed" treaties with many different Native American tribes. Many native tribes were forced to move from the original land and sent to reservations, forced to live there. Many times the US broke these treaties, go to war with them and take more land from them. Modern day, most Native Americans remain in the reservations, they have their own leaders, police, laws ,and policies. Most of the time reservations of some the poorest places in the US.
I believe the problem would be definitely lessened with secure border policies. It wouldn't completely stop it but, would definitely reduce it largely. Trump had a Remain in Mexico policy that made illegals stay in Mexico for 90 days until background and asylum claim was approved before being allowed in. He also had the wall with censors that detected movement on the wall that allowed time for border control to respond and have them held in Mexico until approved. He also was able to get Mexican military to put 28,000 troops on the Mexican border side to stop entry.
Part of the problem is Congress. They have the responsibility to make laws regarding our borders and immigration. So far, I don’t think Congress has taken this problem seriously!
If you want to know more about the Native American reservations. Peter has done numerous videos about this and visits the reservations and obtains their viewpoint on America. These videos are fascinating as well as educational. There are many Indian tribes and Indian nations within the United States. If you watch these videos with Peter it’s eye-opening
One of your most under viewed videos🤦🏽 That sheriff had and compassion and empathy, but still understood his oath and job. My friend’s dad was border patrol, he got his gun and shot an illegal imigrant and was charged as an adult as an adult. I was twelve, he fourteen. Years later prior to 9/11, 2001, I’d meet people trying to leave with family to come to America- but stone walled at the border. Yes, some were felons trying to escape their past and move onto something better. I have sisters and for these guys offering me their wives or daughters was heartbreaking😡 I loaned money to help so they can start life anew. My sisters asked why I don’t get charged for food when I eat in Tijuana ; ). We all need help now and then
*sorry grammatical errors as I type fast and am “Russian” and not Spanish😂
This isn't the first time seeing this video but I still watched all the way thru because I, and I'm sure many others, appreciate you seeking truth from sources outside of the mainstream media's bias. We in Arizona have been wanting a more common sense, secure border for as long as I can remember. Our state is handcuffed by the federal government who continuously abuse the issue for political power, and we need more states rights at the border and/or the federal government to stop the games and get to work or we are at a tipping point that this could turn into a major civil issue on states vs the federal government. That's not fear mongering, or anything else a group of people in this country will vomit out of their mouth.. it's just facts. Also, Arizona has endless beauty and amazing people. A visit here will always amaze, and you'll be 100% welcome.
YES! Illegal immigration is the problem. USA accepts millions every year legally. Many people do it the right way . Tribal Lands are property of native Americans. Many native American Indian tribes live on land or reservations they govern and the US govt has no control over. Kind of a deal made between US govt and Indians after USA displaced and took their land. Reservations are splattered all over the country.
We accept abpit a million. To your point though, Native Americans should be fucking furious with this administration allowing illegals to come to a country that was already concerned by Europeans, but to have any random person who had a hard life in another country to get all the benefits they get, while Narives still live in the shambles of their history.
Slight correction, but we accept around 1 million each year legally, not millionS. Which is more than any other nation.
Apparently my comment was deleted lol
They don't accept millions. If it were that easy everyone would do that
It was just on the news tonight that now the Mexican Cartels are taking over the Reservations because they found out that because the Native Americans govern over their own land and not the US Governmrnt, that the they can poach Reservation land and the government can't go in and do anything about it. Sad!
Thank you for continuing on what interests YOU. We love to watch your reactions and answer your questions - you have great ones! It's a hot topic in the US, but learning is the best way to make change. When you have a porous border, you don't know who is coming in. It's not about keeping out Mexicans. It's about keeping track of everyone in the US so terrorists, or drug runners, or human traffickers don't come in. By the way, not sure if foreigners can do it, but if you visit the US, you might be able to do a "ride along" with a police officer. I've lived in my area for decades, but see parts of it very differently after going out with some local police. It can be scary, but you'd learn a lot about the US, and especially the city/area you ride in. 55

You're getting better news from UA-cam videos than the legacy msm
We are getting people from 192 countries!
It’s been said that some countries have emptied their prisons and let them come over our border. That’s a big problem. Meanwhile lots of our own veterans are homeless, and not getting any help from their own government.
it's insanity. enforcing our nation's laws and borders is being criminalized in leftist media and by some politicians
"It's been said" is the key phrase. Given how hot-potato a topic immigration is, it's easy for sensational rumors to spread (the source of the claim's usually impossible to track down - a big red flag for me).
The veterans have always been forgotten by the government the boarder and immigration has nothing to do with it
Politics is the problem neither the Republicans nor the Democrats want to pass legislation when they don't have control of Congress. They are more interested in credit then fixing the problem
The Biden administration is a disaster for this nation. I am over 50 years old, and Biden is the WORST President I have ever lived through. He is a disaster internationally and domestically. God help us.

I agree. He's unbiased and I especially like his videos with Titus.
I know that because of the issues we are facing today many liberals and leftist people are voting for Trump. I had considered myself liberal until recently and I will be voting for Trump.
This issue is extremely complex. The political issues are even more complex - this video is great outlining the problem but not the politics going on in the background.
I’ve watched that video before but was excited to see your reaction to it. It’s a good video. Very eye opening for all Americans on both sides of the fence.
Think about this: if Portugal suddenly had a big issue with Spain, you'd have to build a 1214 KM of fence. The southern border with Mexico is 3145 KM. This is a HUGE problem!
55 with Texas. Peter does amazing work and not just with the border. That Texas border video was really good. He also has another really good one from Arizona
55 This same guy has another documentary on the Texas border, I found it enlightening and I live in South Texas. I highly recommend reacting to it. The Texas border makes up half of the entire US border with Mexico, 1,250 miles or so, and the border is a river and most of the land on the Texas side is privately owned making everything so very complicated.

The Native Land is its own country within a country and right there three countries meet
I have watched a few of Peters videos. Especially his videos with the Native tribes around the southwest. Peter seems to have a way bringing out the most honest and genuine story from the people he talks with.
Andre, sovereign tribal land belongs to Native American tribe and US had no jurisdiction, meaning we do not rule that land and they do not follow US laws. They decide on their own laws. That is why we can't put a wall up on their land.
It's not a negative video, it is reality. It's informative and needed to be shown to ALL Americans.
We should just build a wall around their land then since they want to aid the invasion
I’m so glad you’re covering this topic. You’re probably more educated now than a good chunk of Americans on the issue. They just think it’s over-blown, far-right talking points. Never underestimate the ignorance of some people when it comes to issues like this one. Just like in Europe where they’re calling the native citizens far-right for not wanting illegal immigration into their countries.
I always stay to the end of your excellent videos. I'm from Utah, but I've lived in beautiful Northern Phoenix, Arizona several times, which is not far from Yuma. It's sad, because you feel bad for them, yet most of us that were born in the US, can hardly afford to live here anymore.

Regarding "tribal land"--In the US, Native American land is almost like an independent country governed by treaties with the US and the people living there have their own law enforcement and other aspects of self-government. Certain of the native Americans on the border historically lived on both sides (the current borders were established by European settlers) and so the people on the US sides don't want to be separated from fellow tribal members on the Mexican side.
I love your reactions. We love legal immigrants and foreigners that come to visit. Venezuela has emptied their jails and sent them to our border and a lot of countries have done this. Background checks and criminal histories is all we NEED to keep our country safe.
At one count of immigrants coming across the US boarder 182 different counties was represented.
55 I like the long format. I like listening to your perspective on complex issues. I don't mind you pausing.
This guy does great videos. I've watched several of his trips. He is genuinely interested in people. I grew up in WV, so I really enjoyed his tour of some of the poorer areas of the state. That's how I found him.
The tribal lands are run by the different native tribes in the US. It is basically the small patches of lands they were driven back into by the military and many broken treaties. They have their own local governments and are only semi-under US law. It is often not a great place to build a community because it was the land the US didn't want at the time.
55 not onlyTexas but all 1200 border miles and the California coast.
Thank you for giving this situation the attention it desperately needs.
55 thank you for taking the time to share these videos with us. As an American what angers me most and scares me the most is the power and money the cartels are gaining by this. It seems they are the only ones benefiting. I can’t imagine what the migrants endure on these trips and seeing a 8 month pregnant woman turned out on the street from an overflowing shelter makes me want to drive up there and make sure she isn’t sleeping on the streets. That is one side. The other side is seeing our resources being depleted. Veterans are turned out of shelters, those suffering from mental illness are not helped. Low income communities moved heaven and earth the have community centers so their kids could be off the streets after school, those are now housing migrants. The government knows what works but they don’t want to do it for some unknown reason. This is not a story that can be told in a 15 minute news clip so I am not surprised the world doesn’t get it. Thank you again for your honest and nonpartisan curiosity on this topic.
This guy has an amazing channel. He has a series about the poverty in Appalachia, that is my neck of the woods. I would love you to explore that topic also. You don’t need money to be happy…but it helps. God bless you and your family.

To put things in perspective for you, Andre, in December of last year 370k people were caught and released into the US. That would be the equivalent of about 11,500 people illegally entering into Portugal IN ONE MONTH. You can see why so people are fed up with the situation.

If we spent 10% the amount of money we sent to Ukraine on finishing OUR border wall (or at least what was already paid for) and Remain in Mexico hadn't been erased on day 1 it never would have gotten this crazy.
This just isn't true. Almost all the money we've "spent" on Ukraine is buying new weapons from our own defense manufacturing base to replace to old weapons we are giving to Ukraine and would cost more to decommission and replace than what we are doing by giving them to Ukraine. It's the EU that's giving the Ukrainian government cash. We are giving them weapons not cash

We Americans welcome anyone coming the right way. This way we can vet people. We want people who will become productive American citizens. I see so many people on UA-cam like yourself that would be a good addition. We do need to work on our immigration laws to make it easier to apply. We do not want people coming in illegally. These folks have to live in the shadows which causes poverty which then leads to crime.
Agree completely. I don't know anyone who has a problem with legal entry into the US. Everyone does, however, have an issue with illegals. I realize many are running for their lives, and if that is the case they need to apply for asylum as they enter.
@@jadeh2699 they should also consider uniting in their own countries as we are and make the changes they desire. Anywhere has the same potential if they unit and apply the same biblical laws we have. The land is basically a country within our boarders. It's sovereign land owned by Native Ameticans.
55 Texas
This was an insane video with lots of information that I only knew a little about
Hard to watch it broken down like this … this is going to be a huge problem for the US
Yes it is. It's either the largest deportation operation in history, or the US is going to have to absorb all these people, and who knows how many of them are ticking time bombs.
It is a huge problem for us! We have a Senile President that opened up our borders the first day he was in office! I'm a Texan and our Governor is doing all he can do to close the border over 1200 miles of it in Texas only!
@@rhondawilson8565 I hear you and agree with you! What’s disgusting is now they are literally holding the fence open in California…. I live in Massachusetts …. We are a “right to shelter “ state…. That means we have to give the illegals actual shelter not tents…out tax dollars are paying each individual $65 a day to just feed these people.. we have about 20,00.00 come in about 9 months. This state also provides them with food stamps to supplement and each family gets a $2500.00 cash card….. there goes all our hard earned tax dollars… oh and they can get drivers licenses here also… even though the can’t speak or read English.
@@burnttoasty5841 Honestly that is the part that gets me, the gov just hands them everything (hyperbolically) and it's our taxes paying for it, without our consent, and they won't do that for Americans, but they'll sure as heck do it for criminals.
Thanks! Please read my comment about the border. Thanks my friend. Your friend, Julie
Andre, thank you for doing this video. Yes, what is happening here in America along our border affects every American citizen. Crime, food security, human trafficking, us security and yet our current administration is fighting the southern states at the forefront of this invasion. America cannot continue to sustain the illegals. We do not have enough food, jobs, water, etc...
We help feed the world. If we go down, so does the world.
I pray for our law enforcement on the border. They face danger everyday.
55 Peter Santenello does amazing work. Most Americans learn a ton whenever we watch his videos.
The scary thing is that the majority of them are military aged, generally healthy men. If that doesn't scream invasion, then I don't know what does.
Invasion? Lol. Yeah. Unarmed people.. Invading.
@@pacmon5285 just because you don't see guns on them doesn't mean tgey don't have any...and doesn't mean they can't aquire them ones they cross.
It is easy to get guns once you are here.
@angiechodak not for me. Background check every single time. Obviously, they're not doing background checks on the illegals. Only the legal citizens are being held to a standard.
@pacmon5285 A woman volunteering along the border, to pick up all the litter, found discarded dog tags from multiple Middle Eastern countries. It is an invasion. These ppl will be activated at a moments notice.
55 next you should react to the immigration problem in Florida. We are being invaded from the Carribean Islands mostly Haiti and Cuba. It was contained for the most part in Miami but now it's moving north up to Palm Beach County. It's hard to go anywhere without seeing groups of 30+ year old men that don't speak any english and have no respect for this country. They truly believe they shouldn't have to work hard and complain about making $20hr. It's so frustrating working with people that don't understand a job is to help the company make money their mindset is show up, do the least amount possible, ask for raises, and have the audacity to refuse to learn English
its a huge problem. private land owners land gets trashed.. huge garbage dumps basically
Also, Peter does another video with a sheriff from Texas which is worth watching
Love your posts with Peter Santinelli. Very interesting; I don’t mind the length of the post. TYVM.
I live on the border, this is all true. 55
Prayers with you! Godspeed my friend, stay safe
You're right in that this issue is so complicated that neither major political party has been able to solve it. ETA: Agreed w/ your point about putting party politics aside. That would sure help here.
55, Peter Santenello has some great videos on his channel.
Any suggestion? Ty 🙌
I love his appalachia videos as it puts a light on an area not well seen. (Also Titus is in one of the videos and he is great)
He has done a series on Native Americans. The only one I saw was "Life on a Native American Reservation" and that was great.
@@european-reacts Peter has a series on Native Americans. That one will help you understand the unique position of natives here. They are a very diverse group of citizens with different customs and languages. The Cherokee land is not a reservation. It is known as a boundary. The land was privately purchased (quite a story). The Cherokee are a very prosperous nation and you would be shocked by the wealth they have achieved and the bright future for their youth. They have the same problems with drugs as everybody else though. The land is stunningly beautiful mountains. I have been there many times. The tourist industry is huge.
They just voted on a bill here to deport illegals that were caught driving drunk. 150 Dems voted against it. What is even worse we had a bill that would ban HAMAS terrorists from entering the US and there was 2 Dems that voted against it. Its only 2 so not like it matters but there shouldn't even be 2 that would think its okay to let terrorists into our country.
Its not conplicated. Amercans should always come first in Amwrica. Clean our own hous then welcome in the guests that deserve it with open arms.
