    A little tip from Germany. If you place the ammunition iron 1 inch above the ground, the concrete will not break even under heavy loads. Ask a reinforced concrete builder who builds high-rise buildings. Otherwise you're doing really well!

    I have to say that the concrete you used to pour that driveway has very good property. Even when it was poured in a sunny day, outdoor, but it seem doesnt brake any tiny crack. It's also contain small aggregate which make it easier to be handled, esier to be screeded. I even thought that you were pouring some kind of mortar instead of concrete at the firstime I saw it. Hope you can share it mixing fomula, I would very appreciate it.

    So I have another video suggestion for you. If this is a service that you all offer then it would be neat to see how it's actually done.
    Around here this trade service would come in and it would take a grinder and he would make lines in the concrete slab and then he would paint them the same color as sand. They would paint the shapes that was defined by all the lines about six or seven different colors. When they was done it looked like the concrete slab was actually a giant walkway with different colored and different sized stone.

    I am very interested in costs. Doing so might give competitors an insight into your pricing regime and bid you out of work. The part of business people keep close to their chest-the mighty margin. What it will do is educate the consumer about cost and effort required to complete a concrete job.

    • @dowjones9663
      @dowjones9663 2 роки тому +2

      Costs for something aren't that hard to figure out. 1. find out how big the area is 2. evaluate how much of the soil you have to dig out and put in new material 3. price for the concrete depending on the required hardness and specifications 4. maybe price for additions such as glass-fibres, coloured dyes, curing compounds etc. 4. time needed to complete the job 5. costs and wages of the workers 6.costs for the required planning and material logistics. not so hard actually

    Shame people take working folks tools and equipment. I had a guy 4 years ago I took in gave him temp quarters and a job. He was a very skilled framer and roofer, so to help him I had him deck and roof a couple of our buildings -paid good money and gave him temp lodging. One evening I went to my shop to get a box to ship some documents to a job. It was our custom to keep tools in their boxes and cases to keep the new looking (a pet peeve of mine.) As i was looking around for a box I noticed one of the boxes that should have a little side grinder in it was empty. Strange. Peaked my curiosity. I started checking boxes and tool cases in our tool area. Suddenly the fact case after case and box after box were empty. Tools were there and in them two weeks before. All told probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 30000.00 worth of tools, cash, guns and jewelry had been taken right under our noses! Well, you say I was naive to give him access to areas where he could steal me blind? Agreed!! Please be careful who you trust. The county and city have liens and warrants for the guy but he is slippery as an eel. Keep people OUT that are not bonded and licensed! Sorry for your loss glad it was not as bad as it could have been! Great videos keep them coming!
