I recently Mileena as you described on a friend's emulator. It didn't work. The code is 22264-22264, but as follows: HP-HP-LP-LP-BL-BL-LK-LK-LK-LK-LK-LK-HL-HK-HK-HK. If you don't have a friend to help you will have to input the code simultaneously on your own, since they only give 10 seconds. If you have a friend around they can input the code on player 2 while you input the code on player 1.
Does anyone on UA-cam do High Quality Arcade Cabinets showcases/demonstrations? I'm sure many of these things are just sitting in people's basements still.

I always found it easier to do it all at once, like playing chords on a piano with a finger on each button. Push both hands down to push all buttons at once, and just let your fingers off the individual buttons when you have pressed them enough times. That way you only have to press down four times, and just take your fingers off the outer buttons as you go. Take your ring fingers off after one press, your pinkies off after two, your middle fingers off after three, and press once more with your thumbs and forefingers.
You can press all the buttons at once or any order as long as you press each one the right number of times. I used to press all the buttons at once eliminating a button each time the right block is revealed.
No worries, got the other 2 last night (Subzero & Milenna). Subzero took me 3 times as I kept running out of time or getting it wrong but it worked after a bit. Thanks for this video.
Damn, I tried this last night and got Ermac no problem. Tried Milenna with the 22246-22246 like you said at 4:40 like 5 times and it didnt work. I just saw and heard at the 6:05 mark you said and did 22264-22264 and got her, will try this again tonight with the 22264.

This is like, way late compared to when you uploaded this video, but. I noticed something that I am surprised to see, especially after so long. At about 8:53 or 8:54, when masked/Classic Sub-Zero jumps out from underneath the floor, he emits a single cloud of smoke, as if he were briefly Human Smoke with the wrong color palette. Am I just seeing things? Does anyone else see that? And going back to look at the other two, it doesn't seem to do that. But I swear I see it on Classic Sub-Zero...
so when my game boots up, right after midway logo shows it just jumps straight to gameplay videos, there is no UMK3 title screen where the announcer is just laughing, is that normal?
hey there ^^ for starters good job on your video :D very nice info there brother :D , i have a tricky question for you :D back in the day when these games were with money , which you had to put a real coin in order to play , there was a secret code when you defeat shao kan , after this code you were fighting ermac and you had to win 1st round , and tie the second in order to play again for free... do you remember this code ? :D
The only issue that I have is saving the characters once unlock cuz I've done this method unlock them and save my high score to only exit out and come back them being reset including my high score

Rain is not unlockable OR even playable in the arcade version of UMK3. He's only available in the home ports.

You somehow did the same exact buttons as unlocking smoke on the code screen wow that must have been surprising.

Still watching this in 2023. I have a countercade from Arcade 1Up. It's got MK1, MK2, MK3, and UMK3. I know, MK4 is always gets omitted everytime.

It wasn't really a code if I remember correctly. It was just one of the "Shao Khan's Treasures" that you could select.

IIRC, you need to fight ermac and win with Mercy, and then you can keep playing

Sounds to me like you’re using an emulator, and the settings are set to discard rom states on exit…?
