I used to load my T-54, T-62, & OBJ-140 with nothing but HEAT rounds.
Oh man, the HEAT-54 days.
Both are pretty good, but T-62a is just the better one, as it got buffed hard. The 140 was left in the dust, untouched.
Object 140 Soviet M48 Patton... neither buffed or nerf still the same
0bj-140 is faster. For those like to keep the speedy playstyle of T-54, the obj-140 is the better choice. The t62a, on the other hand, has to play completely different from T-54. I like the obj-140 better, since it is more aggressive and can run away fast.
Yep i love good mobile tanks my first t X was t62a, was kind of disappointed with the mobility I'll gladly get the 140 instead

It has more top speed but the same average speed and less hull rotation, I don’t think it really matters which one you pick if you like mobility, I love mobility and I love my Leo 1 but if I slapped on the right; provisions, equipment and consumables they would both be good enough for a quick and mobile play style.

i loved the 140 spam in tournaments back in the days
140 is smaller and seems more agile than the 62a, so I find I can easier keep hidden behind berms and bumps and avoid getting shot in the 140.

R J im grinding for 62 a and i have 50k xp rn. 12k free xp as well AND i recieved a certificate for 50% discount from xp so i need 137k instead of double that. I also have a 25% discount for credits :D
I'm also grinding in the T-54, I'm willing to get both of them, researched the T-62A today, now I need credits, and after getting it I'll go for 140
As a obj 140 fan i recommend you to go to the t62. The 140 is hard to play to get the same results as the t62. Im a unicum and own both if that matters
I really notice the better hull armour on the 140, especially the sides. Also, the mobility is significantly better. That turret/gun and 7 degrees on the 62a though is so good.
I think most people will agree the T-62A is better since WG has buffed it a lot and Object 140 has been left in the dust.
However the 140 could be the better one since it has better armor all around compared to the T-62, and only 1* less of gun depression but a really small and thick turret. It’s incredibly good in hull down positions since it has barely anything to show and what it does is the best thing to block shots with. The mobility isn’t T-62 level but it’s still good for a medium as well.

Obj. 140 is better, plus the front profile is better. Better frontal armor adding the extra 4% hull armor makes A big difference especially against other mediums. But on the other hand The t62 has it's unique play style and very enjoyable to play . The stats are very close and the t62 has A few things better in stats and just as formidable as the obj. 140. The t62 can take out the 140 in certain situations. These tanks feel, and are very different experiences to play. I recommend getting both. Some people will enjoy the t62 over the 140.

In all honesty, as what it seems to be the only 5 people that have researched and kept this thing, it seems it’s pretty fun.
Mind you, you will struggle to pen a lot of tanks but when you angle that OG IS armor profile, it will protect you from most tanks at tier 7 and even quite a few at tier 8 if you keep your front plate hidden.

The better part of the obj 140 is that it has better mobility and side-armor. And the profile is smoller

It's t22 medium, It has a heavy's armour profile while still have a decent manuver speed and DPM. Abodulutely medium's killer

R J yeah, I could say the 62 is more focused on finding hulldown spots and using that gun to rain lead down. The 140 is significantly more bouncy when brawling, although I still wish it had APCR.

I prefer the 140 just because it is faster (t62a feels sooooo slow), and also 140 actually has better hull armor (2mm less thicc but way better angling, this thing when wiggling is pretty trollish). Guns are pretty much the same to me and the turret armor is enough to bounce reliably when moving so anyway i loke that one more :p
Hey Droodles, there is a bundle for the t7 car and the t2 light. Are these tanks good and fun in today’s meta? Is it worth 4 bucks?
I could say the T7 car was somewhat fun until the French were added, with little or no opportunity to pen them. The T2 Light had a beautiful top speed of 70mph and a better gun, although I’ve heard it was nerfed in 5.5.
No _ yeah, the t7 car gun dispersion is pretty bad along with its penetration. T7 cars gun is better imo and it goes 60kmph

Very subjective, but I prefer Leo over both of them, you have more alpha more speed and most dpm of all meds

Can you do T-34-2 vs T-34-3? I'm grinding my T-34-2 with the big gun, it's fun but I think my dpm can't really help my teammates
dpm is not everything, you just need to stay behind cover, peek, shoot, back into cover. repeat
Ok this has to be the most compared tanks in the game and it a no brainer the 62a is hands down better than the 140 the big thing with the 140 is you can't go hull down like you can in the 62a thanks Droodles 😎
The blitz veterans rlly prefer obj 140 than t62 and I'm one of the veterans
(Had the 140 before the big medium nerf) and I rlly think obj is better overall in my opinion

It’s actually pretty easy on Steam. All you need to do is make a backup of the Blitz installation folder, find and copy the model of the vehicle you want displayed, replace the name of the file with the name of the target vehicle’s model. Now drop the file on the folder where the target vehicle is and replace it. Best thing is that it works with every vehicle model, meaning you could use war ducks, tier 1s, etc.
Just remember to have a backup of the files for good measure unless you want a full reinstallation.
I did see a post on the Blitz subreddit that goes a bit more into detail. I’ll see if I can find it.

One question why did WG stick the T62 with same 10cm cannon as the 54, instead of putting 115 cannon like it had in real life? That's what 320 damage? Huge improvement.

The part with 115mm instead of 100mm. Yes it makes sense and I don't know why they did it but why does the T62 need alpha improvement. Either the obj or T62 don't have the right gun. The T62 has the 100mm U-8TS instead of 115mm U-5TS and the OBJ 140 has the D54TC instead of the U-8TS. None of them share a gun with the T54 and choosing AP with the 140 has less pen than APCR with the T62 for the same dpm and velocity.
@@Average_Earth_Polluter Even better 360 but the T62A is very $$$ with the APCR shells compared to standard AP of 140 that's a negative in my eyes.
Also the T62 used an auto loader that would 4, 3 second reload?
115mm is not a rifled gun, but a smooth bore one. WG will never implement a tank with either smooth bore or composite armor.
@@valkyriesgaming1808 T62 didn't have composite armor, there's the chieftain MK 6 that's a 120mm rifled cannon. So why WG is blind is beyond us players.
