Dental issues stress me out. Ever since I got my wisdom teeth out I have been traumatized because of the recovery. Mine was bad. I’ve never had a cavity in my 27 years & im terrified to ever get one. I AM GLAD YOURE SO MUCH BETTER 😭

Root canals are definitely normal at any age but I’ve never heard of someone drilling the bottom to counter the top. My siblings had a dentist from NWI & he numbed the wrong side of the mouth & then gave them a filling! Dentist can’t be trusted.

They’ll put a crown on it. It TO ME was the BEST decision especially in the winter months. I’ve had TWO done

This was entertaining because of how you narrated it but also I felt your pain. I’ve had a root canal done and yes you need to get permanent crowns. I’ve also had to pay out of pocket due to American insurance being complete shit and not wanting to cover expensive procedures. I actually need two more root canals so fun. 🙃 But yes always question your dentist and look up reviews. I’d rather pay out of pocket for good service then get something free that’s bad, especially for something as serious as your dental health.

Me too girl TMI but when my time of the month come(going off tomorrow) I clot heavy and I do not take medicine whatsoever and just tough through it. With the root canals on both sides and the abscess on both jawlines, I didn’t do the medicine. Just did clove oil.

Teeth are such a gamble 😂 and it’s so freaking expensive if you get a bad deal. Hopefully my 2024 ends with all my procedures being done.

The throbbing was probably a nerve. I had that problem before they did the root canal. But the root canal should deaden the nerve to the tooth

Hey girl, dental is what I do for a living and to be honest you might just need to get that tooth pulled and replace it with an implant. The way you bite has a lot to do with your tooth and Can cause trauma to it. I know dental Can have such a bad reputation at times but I’m glad he referred you over to a specialist. You should go to an oral surgieron to have your implant done. Hope you’re feeling better 🩷

I feel your pain! I had a cavity that was so bad that I had to get a root canal when I was 17. They gave be an antibiotic for a week then went in and did the root canal. They put a silver cap over it because I went to a kids dental place but told me it was temporary and I would need to get a porcelain crown over it eventually. I kept the silver cap over it for years but every time I went to the dentist they told me to get it replaced because the silver leaks over time. I finally got it replaced and love how natural the tooth looks. I think in a couple of years I’m gonna get the tooth pulled because I just don’t want to keep a dead tooth in my mouth.
