Hey interested in the video content posted as well. Generally if a artist dies their rights or intellectual property transfers to label or estate. So technically even though the performing or recording artist died the ownership may have changed hands and have a new owner(s).

That’s just for cover songs! Regular original songs are unlimited on your plan.
