I was so gutted by the life of this poor sow. All I wanted to do was to travel to her and offload her milk. I cannot bear seeing this poor lovely animal suffering. She had milk for her piglets. They were taken away and in the meantime, all she knew was to feed her piglets. I hate this. I find this so awful. I want to save this mother pig and her suffering. Please tell me that this little pig had another litter to feed? How can no one understand what an awful suffering this poor female pig has had to endure? I cannot sleep tonight having seen the poor mother pig suffering like this. All I want to do is to come and save her and give her piglets to feed to let her offload her milk. I empathise a 100% with this wonderful animal. Please tell me how I can help this not to happen again?
Wonderful film. Very depressing how the clear-as-day ethical message obviously sails right over the head of the interviewer, so most other viewers probably also blithely move on with their oppressive lifestyles. And it's hardly like Gunda is the only thing they have to go on--the evidence is everywhere, but it really is just impossible to get through to some people. Other animals will continue to suffer at our hands, and we're going to destroy the planet.
Will we be sent a link to the film itself once it's available? That's what my wife & I thought we were registering to watch tonight. I'd much rather watch a conversation with a filmmaker AFTER watching his or her film, not before. And yes, we donated. Pretty disappointed.
The most important thing is not your feelings but the situation with the poor animals like Gunda who are so badly treated and about whom my heart breaks.
So many insights...he carries!

Try not to be so intellectual. Feel it in your gut.
