NOTE 💜 If you have a png item only, you can just skip and import it into the 'ITEMS' folder ** - ** If you need help with finding the VTUBESTUDIO directory, open steam, click your LIBRARY, right click vtubestudio, click manage > browse local files > vtubestudio_data > streaming assets > import your LIVE2D asset as a model in LIVE2DMODELS FIRST. - Continuing on, import your Live2d item into the Live2dModels folder. Once there, load it up as a model. Here you will usually get a notification saying to AUTO or COPY SETUP. Click 'auto', this will copy variables from Live2D over to your vtubestudio program. - click the green star icon, this opens your items section. - You want to click' load current model as Live2d item' - Once its there you can adjust the X and Y range. X is left and right, Y is up and down. My model has a small range, so I would move it to a lower number closer to 0.9 - If you have a mouth that's further away when you turn your head, you'll want to adjust it accordingly closer to 1.2 or maybe over. Do the same for your Y number. This takes time to do and learn for your model, but it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Once you learn your model's best range, you can just remember it for other items you import in the future. - Now click save. - Here is also where we can change the lip colour. Click yes to multiply and screen, and then turn on the lip button to change your lip colour accordingly. Adjust it to where you think your character's skin is. This took me a while to find a colour I liked best. Just take your time. You can also make silly colours. Once you're done, load up your model and attach it to your chin area. Use the scroll wheel to adjust the size, and hold CTRL to change it's angle. It's okay if it looks silly! You're supposed to! Have fun! 😸 💜💜💜
