But Capcom wanted more sequels with X6 completely screwing up the continuity Inafune wanted to go from for mmz. So he had to rewrite the script to create a fake X.

And I think this is one of those things in which Capcoms meddling makes a better outcome. I definitely would hate Keiji Inafune for turning my favorite childhood hero into a villain, and I am sure many others would throw away the Zero series as "non-cannon", not to mention it would cause the entire fanbase to be split into "X fanbase" and "Z fanbase" instead of one singular fanbase, making X the villain was a dumbass move and Capcoms meddling in this one actually saved Keiji Inafune from making a big mistake. I definitely think Capcom meddling in Mega Man X for money is bad, but this one instance is definitely an exception.

But since his programming made it impossible for him to go against humans, there was only one choice left for him. Hence giving rise to a more tyrannical X, who acts in an attempt to end all wars. I would've loved that kind of story. And I can appreciate it, when story writers actually have the guts to go that far. And it's not like X would've turned into a villain for no reason. The series already gave plenty of reasons, on why X could turn bad. Heck, X's ending in X4 even foreshadowed this, when he said to Zero "If I turn Maverick, please kill me!". Which is what would've happened in the Zero series, if it wasn't for Capcom making X6 without Inafune's consent, messing up the continuity. So really, all that was saved was your own feelings. Because you want characters to stay like you want them forever. Never allowing them to change. Because you cannot take it, when a character you love goes against your "Feel Good Zone", even if it was properly explained beforehand.
As long as an X sequel is a side-scroller I'm good. I'd also like a spin-off series (Maybe a spin-off in the X universe or an original spin-off universe with similar setting to X) where you could create a custom Reploid character (Action RPG similar to Cyberpunk or Kingdoms of Amalur and choose your body type, head style, armor, weapons between handheld melee like Zero, Handheld Ranged like Axl, or Arm-Mounted Ranged/Melee like X). Picture a spin-off series or even an MMORPG in the X universe where you can build your Maverick/Maverick Hunter character(s) using various styles, sizes, shapes, etc. for your armor, head, etc., and even tie in your character's aesthetics into their locomotion and combat abilities! Back-mounted wings or thrusters, a transformation mode, or even a simple humanoid with an energy sash/scarf like X had in Command Mission!
X: Who are you? Copy X: The perfect copy of you from the future who has saved the human race from this wasted world. X: By retiring innocent Reploids!? What happened to humans and Reploids coexisting!? Copy X: There is no need for that. X: You're nothing like me you faulty copy! Copy X: How dare you! I'll make you regret those words! I beat Copy X Without Vitality from an Elf and I never realized you could just heal yourself with an Elf and that was the Hardest Battle I did. I had to try my best not taking damage too. I feel like a Dork lmao
Its funny when you realise that the final version of copy x (not the angel of death) was meant to be the equivalent to the ultimate armour of the original x, yet it turned out to be way inferior.

@Wilson Nascimento Their situation is different. X was taught by Dr.Light and lived many years (like two centuries) as a justice fighter. Ciel just created Copy-X and let him do his things. He found himself in a leader position without the necessary knowledge. My point is, X was much more experienced about the world than Copy-X, and had better programming

I wish X Dive devs would be a bit more respectful to the musical legacy of the Zero/ZX games. A lot of things about X Dive disappoint me, but I think the most disappointed I've ever been with the game was when they replaced the ZX forest stage music with a classic Megaman song. Green Grass Gradation is the best song in ZX and being the song that plays during your first R.O.C.K. O.N., acts as the tone setter of the entire series. And they just threw it away like it was nothing. They may be trying to save players on storage space, or it may be something else, but that one hurt. In this specific case, however, I don't think its asking too much to import the general MMZ boss music for Copy X. There's no way that won't get more usage in the future. Feels like laziness.
Bro, Green Grass Gradation for ZX is equivalent to Esperanto for MMZ4. Why did they left that out. Though I liked both Sky High Nuage and Green Grass, the very first OST for the very first battle sticks all throughout much like the final battle OST
It's especially weird considering the MMZ collection that came out earlier this year had a new remix of the boss music. But now they didn't bother bringing either version of the music to X Dive.
Pains me to see comments regarding grinding and difficulty here. Why can't we seriously just enjoy something that has been made? The Megaman X Dive copy x may feel like shit but that's primarily because we got experience. Please take into consideration the new people who drop into the franchise just for this game. Just last week, I added a few more people, and for them, the boss fights were a frigging war and here I was making it into a cake walk. I don't think that the levels being eased a bit was a bad decision either. Anyone and I mean anyone emulating Megaman on a MyBoy for their phone would know the pain of mapping the controls there, so I can't really complain on how much of a nightmare it would've been if you were just unable to use your sub weapon 90 percent of the time in the original games. Just gonna put this out here, but I think that dive is a unique game. May we please appreciate what was given. Edit: Copy X or Ciel won't come home. I wanna cry a bit inside after just missing Halloween Aile.
As a newcomer in the megaman fandom invited by a friend. Its really hard I had to cross my fingers on the controls XD And ye I tell him my deaths sometimes and he would laugh at me but tells me I did a good job either ways. He would sometimes send me his way of playing things and its so much different from how I do. Like he dodges everything, jumping and dashing so fast meanwhile me taking advantage of the wall/stairs then later fall into a spike which rages me sometimes XD

Just for my taste, I feel Copy X is a little too predictable and weak for DiVe. It looked like you were just playing with your food and slapping him around. Not a real challenge. Buster shots could have been moving quite faster for Copy X. Would have been a nice to add a cheat death mechanic where he goes into Seraph form. The visuals were great though. However, if you tuned it down to display his attacks then that is cool too.
No it's a Gacha based mobile game that combines the various series together. Initially was just the X series but now has Classic,Zero and ZX (in the next upcoming event, literally tomorrow). I will say that comparison wise, my internet is alot worse, so you usually don't get gameplay this smooth playing it if ever (even more so in the pvp). It is fun and does fill my megaman itch, but my biggest grip is the fact that the scaling for the game is very exponential, meaning you'll need to grind alot to be able to complete stages (since the damage scaling reaches points where a single attack from a weak enemy could kill you eventually, at least if you rush the story). Besides that the controls are not great just using a touch screen (alot of accidential clicks or it doing not what you wanted it to do occurs, so you'd accidentally fall off of a platform or wall, which isn't great since later levels do keep the same level of precision platforming that a normal megaman game does.) So basically try to get a bluetooth controller to work with this if you can.

In the Legacy Collection version of the game, there’s this thing called Modification Cards which mostly changes how specific stuff will look like in the game There’s a card that changes how the bullet looks like
Copy x is too weak, as Zero said……the real x is so much more than that. The copy x's move is slow and with no combos. He couldn't heal himself Even He is badly wounded. Poor little copy, that is why the original x rejected it's at first time. It has a physical limitation. That Is not "x" suppose to mean.

Its a mobile game based on the x and zero series it plays like an x game but more simplified cuz of mobile game you can only get it on quooapp cuz its Europe and Asia only.

I used it and that's how I'm able to play it, once you download qooapp it's effectively the same as the android play store just search rockman x dive on their search bar and download it.

I wish X Dive devs would be a bit more respectful to the musical legacy of the Zero/ZX games. A lot of things about X Dive disappoint me, but I think the most disappointed I've ever been with the game was when they replaced the ZX forest stage music with a classic Megaman song. Green Grass Gradation is the best song in ZX and being the song that plays during your first R.O.C.K. O.N., acts as the tone setter of the entire series. And they just threw it away like it was nothing. They may be trying to save players on storage space, or it may be something else, but that one hurt.
In this specific case, however, I don't think its asking too much to import the general MMZ boss music for Copy X. There's no way that won't get more usage in the future. Feels like laziness.
Bro, Green Grass Gradation for ZX is equivalent to Esperanto for MMZ4. Why did they left that out.
Though I liked both Sky High Nuage and Green Grass, the very first OST for the very first battle sticks all throughout much like the final battle OST
It's especially weird considering the MMZ collection that came out earlier this year had a new remix of the boss music. But now they didn't bother bringing either version of the music to X Dive.
I'm sorry, but I kinda like the music being played during that stage a lot. It isn't a good fit, but it's still a bop nonetheless
Pains me to see comments regarding grinding and difficulty here. Why can't we seriously just enjoy something that has been made? The Megaman X Dive copy x may feel like shit but that's primarily because we got experience. Please take into consideration the new people who drop into the franchise just for this game. Just last week, I added a few more people, and for them, the boss fights were a frigging war and here I was making it into a cake walk. I don't think that the levels being eased a bit was a bad decision either. Anyone and I mean anyone emulating Megaman on a MyBoy for their phone would know the pain of mapping the controls there, so I can't really complain on how much of a nightmare it would've been if you were just unable to use your sub weapon 90 percent of the time in the original games.
Just gonna put this out here, but I think that dive is a unique game. May we please appreciate what was given.

As a newcomer in the megaman fandom invited by a friend. Its really hard I had to cross my fingers on the controls XD
And ye I tell him my deaths sometimes and he would laugh at me but tells me I did a good job either ways. He would sometimes send me his way of playing things and its so much different from how I do. Like he dodges everything, jumping and dashing so fast meanwhile me taking advantage of the wall/stairs then later fall into a spike which rages me sometimes XD
waiting for the global release of Mega Man XX Dive also Capcom should seriously consider releasing X9

Although, I never tried Hard mode back then. So maybe he might have that ability in hard mode. Considering, all maverick bosses and Guardians uses their EX skills.

Just for my taste, I feel Copy X is a little too predictable and weak for DiVe. It looked like you were just playing with your food and slapping him around. Not a real challenge. Buster shots could have been moving quite faster for Copy X. Would have been a nice to add a cheat death mechanic where he goes into Seraph form. The visuals were great though. However, if you tuned it down to display his attacks then that is cool too.

If X dive were made on 16bits from beginning. I would loved the game. I just think pixelart matches better (visually and in-gamplay) the megaman Saga.

Is Mega Man X Dive a remake of the other game? Just curious
No it's a Gacha based mobile game that combines the various series together. Initially was just the X series but now has Classic,Zero and ZX (in the next upcoming event, literally tomorrow). I will say that comparison wise, my internet is alot worse, so you usually don't get gameplay this smooth playing it if ever (even more so in the pvp). It is fun and does fill my megaman itch, but my biggest grip is the fact that the scaling for the game is very exponential, meaning you'll need to grind alot to be able to complete stages (since the damage scaling reaches points where a single attack from a weak enemy could kill you eventually, at least if you rush the story). Besides that the controls are not great just using a touch screen (alot of accidential clicks or it doing not what you wanted it to do occurs, so you'd accidentally fall off of a platform or wall, which isn't great since later levels do keep the same level of precision platforming that a normal megaman game does.) So basically try to get a bluetooth controller to work with this if you can.
The megaman x dive also has its own story. Which is comparable enough to KH Re:Coded tbh (if you know what I mean)

Copy x is too weak, as Zero said……the real x is so much more than that. The copy x's move is slow and with no combos. He couldn't heal himself Even He is badly wounded. Poor little copy, that is why the original x rejected it's at first time. It has a physical limitation. That Is not "x" suppose to mean.

Man I absolutely adore the story line of zero series. But I hate the character designs. Only ones I like are armored copy x, elpizo and craft
I on the other hand, loved the designs. Except Elpizo, Angel Copy X, and all of Omega's forms except his Omegamon form.

@@nintendogalchannel2463 qooapp is easy to download and use, basically an app that lets you download foreign apps( apps that aren't available in your country). I used it and that's how I'm able to play it, once you download qooapp it's effectively the same as the android play store just search rockman x dive on their search bar and download it.
