It happens to the best of us, Tony. No biggie. 😎 Thanks for sharing, buddy!

Thanks Chief for sharing. Thankfully I am at the point in my life that I know I don’t want/need a mill. Sadly I can’t say the same about tractors. I may not be “winning” but I have not been lapped either. 😊. Best to all.

Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the fly. Still got some good gear out of that stick. Thank you for posting.

Have you ever shown your setup for drying your lumber? If so, I missed it.

We either build green or dry our lumber in our basement. We have a dehumidifier which dries the wood faster. Other than that, it is stacked and it is one of the out buildings.

Good video. What brand engine is on the mill?

I am unsure of the engine brand. It was made for Frontier. It looks like a Harbor Freight Predator 22 horsepower.

I really like that mill I wish they had that a couple years ago. I bought a woodland mills 30 max but would have considered this one. The biggest problem with these is I have to use the tractor to turn the bigger logs. It would be nice if they a decent log turning option for the big logs. I just bought a T494 hydro with a cab because of what I see you can do with your 474. I had a Kubota M7060 before and I am impressed with the 494 It will lift almost as much as the 7060. The loader is not as fast but it is powerful. We had 10 Inches of wet heavy snow the other day and plowing with a hydro is the way to go. I have always had gear drive never again hydro has so much more control. It has R14 tires that work great compared to the ag tires in the snow. I want to thank You and Tanja and Gizmo for all the great videos take care.

Comments like yours makes my day. I am thinking of some kind of kit to make a log turner.

Always keep a tape measure by the mill to double check your settings. Mine has a magnetic base which keeps to handy.

As many problems as you had with your last mill, why wouldn't you try a different brand? Thanks for the great content.

What problems did I have with my other sawmill? Every sawmill no matter the brand requires maintenance.

Tony, that's what I was thinking... "as many problems".... I must have missed all those videos. I thought the mill has been a good one
