All funerals are hard... But how sad these ones are it's truly beautiful the respect given. If this doesn't hit your heart I worry for you.
Well when someone risked/gave their life, to protect us and our freedom the least they deserve is to be honored for everything they did.
I concurr
Mothers and fathers of the Fallen should be honored and respected to the T..
Just watching this made me cry, I don't know this service member yet I'm Thankful and truly feel Blessed for all our service men and woman to protect our country! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🙏🙏🙏 rest in peace!
ALL veterans, regardless of service and era in which they served deserve this !
And they all get it upon request, especially if they died while serving. So long as they were discharged or died honorably, their families are entitled to request a military funeral free of charge.
@@flargarbason1740 that's wonderful.
to anyone who says "you're unpatriotic as an american"
show them this.
THIS is patriotism. Showing respect for a war veteran with full honors. Not rioting over political parties or election results, not arguing which party is better, or if one party is corrupt.
This is the embodiment of American nationalism, and people need to know that in this day and age. Coming together as a people to honor who and what brought us all the privileges we have today
^, this. My cousin was an Active Duty Navy Sailor who took his own life via CO Poisoning while in Japan.
So one side can screw over the people and you cant say anything?
@@joehaddad6276 no matter how you slice it, it’s both parties that are screwing over the people, in some way. Republicans trying to keep their guns despite all the school shootings, democrats trying to control the internet despite all the emphasis on digital footprints and individuals’ internet privacy, it’s both. Simply a matter of perspective.
Please pray that my brother will do this for my dad. 🙏🏽
During my dad's funeral, I was just not in a state of mind where I could fully process the military honors and the flag presentation to me. I'm grateful to have videos like this where I can best remember and understand what I was observing. Thank you to all veterans for your service.
My father was a Vietnam War veteran, and we had to fight for full honors even though he was a retired Sargeant. But man I have to admit a military honors funeral is the greatest saddest, most respectful funeral all in one. But also be next to m-16s those defiantly make you jumpy
I was on funeral detail for about 3 years. It’s very sad, but I also felt a sense of pride honoring vets and active duty deceased. The families thanks after the burial were so appreciative. That good feeling never goes away.
And when you pass your brothers will be there for you. Thanks for serving on this detail. Never done it myself but it's an important tradition and must be held to the highest standards. Much respect.
My dad was buried with military honors three weeks ago. Honestly, because of the state of mind I was in, the ceremony blurred together more than I would have liked. But it meant a lot to me, and I truly appreciate the military's service that day and always. Thank you for all you have done.
God rest this dear patriot.
His was truly THE GREATEST GENERATION.
We owe them so much.
Gratitude and respect.

@@user-ob2mw7ne7t oh. You're one of those.
just did this for my grandpa, he was 95 years still fly fished, gardened, and everything. He died within a week so suddenly from colon cancer. Every veteran deserves this and much more from our community❤️
I hope I live a full life as your grandfather
Rest in peace my brother in arms. To be out of the body is to be present with the Lord. You are home now....Army Veteran
I really liked your comment. That was very kind of you.
My paternal grandfather passed away in December of 2009, just two days before New Year's Eve. Four days after his death, we had his funeral, and it was the first military funeral my husband and I had ever been to, since my grandpa was a World War II Navy veteran.
May your spirit walking peacefully for you we will forever remember in our hearts and minds and we will never forget you.
I’m sobbing right now. My stepfather who was in the army for 24 years since he was 17 years old just died this past Saturday. I’ll miss you so much 🤍🙏🏻 Rest In Peace
I’m preparing for the funeral😞🕊
I’m sorry for the death of your stepfather
Sorry for your loss hope you and your family are well.
So he died when he was 17?
@@notassortedstuff He was in the army for 24 years, since he was 17 years olds.
@@notassortedstuff He joined the Army at 17, and was in for 24.
I grew up with this. Been to so many military funerals, DC, bases around the country as my Dad is a US Marine. Still gives me chills every time. Rest in peace, sir. 🇺🇸
we salute you american world war II Soldier, you are hero! mr Robert. may you rest in peace. from khen from Malaysia.
I've done that duty as a soldier and veteran. It's an honor. Someday, it will be my turn to return home and end my duty.
Господи, как же уважительно они отнеслись к солдату... Радует что хотя бы Американская Власть помнит своих солдат.
As recent 56M AIT graduate, I thank you for this! I want to be kept in the loop of how military funerals are to be conducted in order to keep the fires of this tradition alive.
Thank you for your service . A beautiful and powerful send off. WWII vets are the foundation of our country
Thank you for your hard work and service and thank you for the sacrifice you have made for this country. Rest In Peace😭🙏
My dad got the full military funeral. He was a two vet on both the army in the 82nd Airborne and a Navy corpsman several years later. When the folded flag was handed to me, I lost it. I was saluted by the leader and I couldn’t stop crying. I was 19 and lost my best friend. What they did for him to honor his was more than I could ever ask for. Knowing him though, he would’ve been embarrassed for having so much happen.
My grandfather was a Navy Corpsman too. A pharmacist mate in the pacific theater ww2. I'm sorry for your loss.
I’m watching this for my uncle who died on Christmas Day to see what to expect at his funeral
God Keep your Veteran and Bless the family forward. God Bless those who do for our Country!
I love that still there is respect. For those that have served before us. And I respect those that also move forward. ❤️
What a huge cemetary it is.I am so deligted to see this channel as it can increase my knowledge related to the U.S cemetary in Overseas. Rest in peace all the late soldiers.
My dad was a soldier, he was buried in 1999 he was my hero
He was also a hero to the whole country
My condolences to the family here and to all of those who lost a loved one in the military. I know what it must be like.
RIP and thank you for everything . God bless you. From France
Thank you for your service. Rest In Peace and god bless you 🇺🇸❤️
There are no words to describe how I felt laying my Farther to rest in 1990 wwII Korea and Vietnam
I am an Iraq veteran, medic (DOC), third generation AirForce, and retired Air Force. Every veteran deserves this being we are only 1% serve to protect the other99%s freedoms.
Hello from Scotland thank you for your sevrive may you rest in peace amen 😭
Fare well in the next life, brother. Love and respect to you and your family
My fiance passed not that long ago, and I'm going to have to see this first hand. When taps plays, I'm going to be a broken mess.
Rest in peace and thank you for your service God bless you and your family
We just had a Military Funeral for our cousin Sailor... Surreal to hear the Triple Gun Salute at the funeral site in close range.
So much respect
I done get emotional a lot but The trumpet is when I got emotional. I grew up in a military family and stuff like this makes be proud to be a American
That was beautiful
Damn I was bawling to this man, so sad 😭
the trumpet makes me cry so much man damn
For those that gave thumbs down!Up yours! My father died in May 2020 and severed and didn't get his honor!!!!
Why
All who are honorably discharged are entitled to burial at a National Cemetery, including taps, flag, etc. It’s up to the Veteran or his family to arrange, as I have just done for my WWII Navy veteran dad.
Im just assuming it was disliked because they didn’t record the entire thing. I’m just giving them the benefit of the doubt so I don’t lose faith in humanity
Rest in peace
I pray your trip to the eternal life is full of peace
Rip thank you for your service
Rest in peace man🙏🏻🕊
sorry for your loss...
Not all heros wear capes
That music it the point where I cried
Rest in peace hero, thank you
Respect ❤️🌹
Is it just me or does it seem the best and bravest always die first
Rest in peace dad.
Proof
He was a WW2 veteran when were you born
God bless him. His brothers sent him right.
Rip to the men and women who defended America's honor 🏅🏅🏅
God bless the fallen🕊❤️
My grandfather recently passed away at age 95, he got Pneumonia and it got worse, and even on his deathbed he was still able to crack a joke. Rest in piece Troy Anderson 🙏 Marines WWII. Also served in Vietnam. 1927-2022. Toughest guy I know.
God bless his soul
And to think…we have nearly an entire generation of young people that have been taught to hate and dislike the American flag. The flag stands for all of the freedoms they enjoy and the many men and women that made the ultimate sacrifice, while fighting for and defending those very freedoms. Please help with re-teaching this generation that the US flag is sacred and should be honored and respected. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

My father is being buried tomorrow with full military honors and my step son will be in his army dress uniform
This is so sad that barely any of this friends and family could send him off and they probably couldn’t even be there with him as his life was ending.
2020 was the worst year. So much needless stupidity
May god bless the fallen my mothet had the color guard at her funeral fallen 911 operator may god bless
what is the music at 3:16 called?
im a blubbering mess and i dont even know this fella. damn i cant make it through taps lol
I have my grandfather's funeral in the morning. One of the last of the WWII vets. I too am a vet. But the guy in this video 3:54 gets extra props. He refuses to dishonor what this man served for by wearing a symbolic piece of cloth across his face. Leaves me a little hope in humanity.
Sorry for your loss. We will take it from here.
Has it been discussed why it is the mothers don't cry when the sons are about to enlist, at seventeen, but the fathers do? And is it only 17 yr. Olds that get killed?
This is the greatest of USA the honor and courage. Got bless of the United States of America💪🇺🇸. The best country in the world.
What's Your Name Intro Song?
A Soldier died and was met by God. Knowing he had taken life during his time at war he looked to God and asked "Are you here to send me to hell?" God replied "No my Son, you served your time in hell. Welcome home."

It has “funeral” in the title. What did you expect?
May the gods bless and guide this brave young soul to Valhalla. Or if he is christian heaven.

This is a Standards mission not full honors.. Full honors have an 8 man casket team and 18 man marching element... Ask me how I know.. ASK ME!
God I love my country
@Goat Boy he is. I’d rather have an actual Meme run our country
Ok, seriously guys. I’m not necessarily saying I’m against you but for the love of god, a man died. Leave politics out of it
I was wondering how did he die?
Sorry to tell that, but you could be assured that he died in the WW II here in Europe.
It is really slowly getting to the point now, that some of the battle fields in Belgium, France or the Netherlands inform the families on both sides of the fighting.
German, Dutch, French, British, American Organisations are working together, to bring the fallen soldiers back to their countries.

@@stAirborneMk umm no I respect my soldiers and I dont hide my face for a flu. It's like kneeling for the flag.
@@liberty_prime7777 It’s not a flu. It’s a deadly virus that has killed even the strongest of men. I understand you, and it’s a disappointment that this virus is a thing, but surely you can’t hate a man for wanting the best for America and himself? It’s destroying the flag if you don’t wear a mask and kill everyone to you.
@@lonewolfsowoofwoof7214 what you just said was completely untrue. If your below the age of 70 you have a 99.97 percent chance to survive and if your above 70 95 percent and that's from the CDC so dont get mad at me
@@liberty_prime7777 6.5 million people have died which is way more than the amount of people who have died from the flu in the same time span. Also your information is outdated at this point

I asked my wife when my time comes I want to be cremated and buried with my stepfather. He has an extra plot so she could be next to me. My stepdad died from COVID and was a veteran of Vietnam. However he was very lucky and got stationed in Germany. But he still was a very patriotic man. I wasn’t in the military however I work in emergency services so we both shared a very common interest of service
Thanks for everyone that I can be free. Get r done
