this video is a really good example of how every single person wants to lean over and stick their face into a dog's face when they first meet. why and how and when this started I don't know, but youd think human logic/common sense would = strange dog I don't know, most dangerous part of body located in teeth, there4 shouldn't stick most vonerable part of my body directly in teeth striking zone upoin first meeting...or ever... good thing this dog was VERY tolerant, but jeez..

@ Eli Israelian My thoughts exactly.
When people start to do that with my German Shepherd I call him back to me and tell them "When you put your face up to him like that he will perceive it as a threat." Sometimes they get snarky and tell me I should train him to accept it blah blah blah. I just respond with "Well you can't change instincts. Ever try training a Newfoundland to stay out of the water?" then I walk away.

Hips are problematic. Due to lack of exercise or genetic failure.

Well one fella in another vid said the Tosa was created from Mixing the Great Dane, Bull terrier, and the Bulldog.
He did not Elaborate on which "Bulldog"...for if it's the Brachycephalic type that was created like Frankenstein, then I could see a host of problems.
Also...I don't see the Tosa retaining its size with only 1 large dog and 2 smaller breeds in its creation. Who is to really know.
