      😂😂😂😂. Sorry for laughing but I just remembered those😂😂. That’s literally one of the reasons I relaxed my hair a few months ago. I hate relaxed hair problems but I prefer them to some of the natural ones like single strand 🪢

      I've literally done everything to prevent single strand knots: wash and deep condition weekly, keep my hair stretched, trims every 3 months. I still have a bunch of single strand knots on my ends. It is so frustrating 😩 My hair was longer and healthier relaxed. 😩

      Agree and some parts were underprocessed.. which could cause issues down the road..

    Dang you started with your roots. That's always a no no for a virgin relaxer my love. It's too late now lol, but we're to start about 2 inches away from your roots. Do all 4 sections like that, then go back and do your roots. Your scalp is warm, so it processes the relaxer alot faster. But you still did a GREAT job !
    Make sure when you touch it up, you avoid over processing your hair by bringing the relaxer down from your roots to cover the rest of your hair. Only do your roots from now on or else your hair will get thin & start breaking.
    ❤❤❤

      I start from the very bottom then I work my way up...being sure to work fast so that all of the relaxer is in and working evenly as I smooth and work it in during the duration. . Hair that is closer to the roots will be processed during retouches and with overlapping so this will help ease that problem. This also helps with scalp burning and injury.

    I did a texlax on my hair, it’s so much more manageable for me. I like it because I don’t have to do through the long process as I did before.

    • @biellaspointofview2054
      @biellaspointofview2054 2 роки тому

      How is your hair now? Issue with texlaxer is having multiple textures because one texlax differs from another; the different texture in one strand of hair is what causes breaking issues.

    • @lifewithsuzzyq2039

      @@biellaspointofview2054 My hair is growing, had a little shedding, start doing more deep treatment especially to the ends of the hair. I also always make sure I moisture my hair. I am just enjoying my hair.

    • @elizabethj2182
      @elizabethj2182 2 роки тому

      @@biellaspointofview2054 yeah that’s what happened to me. Ended up having to cut a lot of hair off. If you’re lucky and can get the same texture each time then texlaxing is great. However surprisingly a regular relaxer is the better alternative for most people

    Section the hair off then apply ur Vaseline or protectant to each part prior to applying the relaxer. Hair is very vulnerable while wet. Never comb hair while relaxer is on it bcuz u will manipulate ur scalp causing irritation which may force you to burn early.Your method was kind of old fashioned. Please refer to the latest ways colored folks relax their hair with less pulling and tugging. Your hair was beautiful naturally and looks more manageable relaxed. A great way to spend the holidays. Streesfree😌

    Girl you know you can't treat a permed hair like natural. There are some things you can't do o relaxed hair because it is thinner now. When a relaxed hair breaks it tells it all but on natural hair the space can be covered so be careful sis. Wish you all the luck.
