- What a journey this has been. In this episode we finally get Roger (Auto Alex's Classic BMW E30 Touring) Painted and fully complete! What a restoration journey indeed! It's a bitter sweet moment as me and Roger have spend a lot of time together, but on the flip side, Roger now is better than brand new, fully restored and is ready for the road once more!
We took Roger to Shed Fest 2024 & handed over the keys back to Alex. We also met some amazing people and had a fantastic day. Its like the end of an era.
We will have another episode of this car, showcasing the entire restoration from start to finish. But for now, if you have enjoyed the journey and the video, please consider hitting that like and subscribe button. And as always, we will catch you in the next one! - Авто та транспорт

I watched it anyways. Worth a rewatch! Top stuff!!
Patiently waiting for 360potato to upgrade then
All uploaded!! 🎉🎉
What an amazing transformation, Thanks so much for getting Roger back on the road again! This Thursday you will be able to see it take on its next transformation!
i got emotional. its saved. Its pretty and soulful
I realise there's content creator deals going on, but I'd love a realistic cost breakdown of what a restoration like that runs to.
when people talk about the old days of british motoring and car it was guys like these men that made cars the work they do is amazing and puts others to shame keep it up
Amazing work indeed. Roger looks brand new
Seeing the family all at one car great.
thank you :)
That is class work guys. I will watch the previous episodes to see how it all came about. My father who passed in 2006 was from Yorkshire & I miss the dialect. It's great hearing it again.
Guys, love your work. Cheers from the Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia
Thank you for watching. Hope you enjoy the other vids and glad it brought back nice memory's :)
Awesome work, my one gripe as a BMW mechanic would be the rear designation numbers aren’t quite right and once you see it, it’s something that stands out. BMW is very particular with the placement and we have detailed measurements for every model.
Class seeing 5 people working on one car at once to get the job done. Good work team.
Wow Alex is a lucky boy, I think a few beers will be sunk to mark the finish of Roger
Well really in the end its him and all of the guys that helped him achieve all of this and its about the vision and goal. When you surround yourself with the people that share the same vision you indeed can pull incredible things together that will make you all proud
really nice job lads should of put pictures of stages on a board behind the car to give a understanding the process and journey it had to the final masterpiece, very nice work and love the content with the other cars
It is so great to see one of your restored cars being DRIVEN! Awesome job!
Great job guys! There is nothing more respectable than good bodywork
Thank you :)
It's been an absolute pleasure watching the car being restored to it's former glory, and with Colin Furze's E3 also being restored at the same time fun to compare which car was more rusty, (it was Colin's).
Looking forward to seeing the worlds most famous Mazda Mx-5 getting restored.
Wow, great job done guys... especially Ryan, respect for all the hand work you've put in Roger... Looks really fabulous even if it's not in HD!😁 Alex can be very proud of it! 😄 Best regards from Dave (Holland)
HD is being processed by UA-cam as we speak. Please see pinned comments.
From one Yorkshire man to another...... bloody brilliant!!
Great video. Not only do I love the work you guys do - which I’d say is Fine Art level - but I love the humble honesty of it all. How I wish you guys could’ve kept my old MX5 alive! But she’s gone 😢
I need to find a place like this in the USA. I have my 2001 Prelude that has some rust in the rear wheel wells and the car is sentimental to me, I am willing to spend the money to bring it back to new looks! Great job guys.
It is really sweet to see a completion. Well done. A lot of love and appreciation for you there. Blessed Be 💕……. “The MIG welder is strong with this one ✨’
Well done lads. It was interesting to see what took your eye whilst looking around. I hope it has generated some business for you all. I’ll have to pick another series of your work to watch and maybe even get you to look at the paint on my brother’s 1972 XJ12L!
Brilliant! Great to at long last see a finished product - and well worth the wait.
Great job guys, great to see one be finished. Alex seems to really appreciate it too.
great work guys pleasure to see roger in person at shedfest great work very skilled everyone now can’t wait for phil and to watch that! 💪🏼
Well done you guys, been an absolute pleasure watching the transformation, not just on Alex’s E30, also Matt Armstrongs 645Ci, plus to be honest very thing else. I’m an avid watcher, looking forward to all the next projects. Thanks again 👍
Brilliant job lads.
Great work guys thank you for the journey
Very cool, great job. Looking forward to seeing the next one in paint.
Really curious what Sam came to discuss at your stand.
He’ll probably had some good stories or future projects to talk about 😄

What a talented family operating YCR. This without doubt, is one of the best, no nonsense, car restoration business out there on the web! Do it right, do it to the customer's expectations and don't cut corners. Reputations run on ethics, professionalism and love of the job. The YCR crew has all of these pre=requisites/ Well done.

Cant wait to see the datson, mat Armstrongs 635i, colin furze E30. These guys are magicians when it comes to rebirthing classic cars
Oh man Ryan and Steve I loved this video here me and my brother are watching it on his TV and I'm letting my phone play the video to insure that you get my views. A huge 👏 congratulations 🎊 to the whole team at YCR for putting this car back together and a big extreme 👏 congratulations 🎊 to you Ryan for all of your hard work now that BMW is better than new now. Great job
Came a long way so well done.
That front bumper trim driver's side done my heading though
Could had been repaired
Bringing people and cars back together ❤
Bring a tear to a glass eye. 💕
I do find it funny how this channel has more shedfest content than the autoalex channel or the V2 channel, full props to all the work you been doing and putting up content of the day.
God bless Roger & all who roll in him.
28:21 nice belt scratch to the fresh paint 😂
thats what I thought as well
Seeing it move under its own power, amazing, better than new
Great job on the car and really nice to speak with you I was the guy with the green jumper and arm in a green plaster cast. 😃
'ol Rog award winning ⛳
I only had one whisky I promise, but...
... I bloody love Yorkshire Car Restorations.❤
Thus has to be Friday finishing the work proper and job n knock. If your from Sheffield you will understand, that being said you guys have done a mint job,
You guys must be very proud, fuck it, I'm proud of you and I don't even know you!
So much work, so many late nights, but look at the end result!
Not only that, a PROPER BMW saved from a rusty death, what's not to love.
Smashed it out the park, well done Yorkshire Car Restoration. 🤝👏👏👏👏
Nice job but you guys need a better spray booth with decent dust filtration in it!!! There was a lot of dust you could see as the paint was laid down. Would cut down on the amount of flatting and polishing you'd need to do afterwards.
It would. Your welcome to buy us one if you want :)
@@yorkshirecarrestoration mate, if I had the cash I'd buy us both one ;)
Wow that’s come up well.
Better protected now than when it left the factory too
Fantastic
"so" a Yorkshire car restoration needle pulling thread. The front man did a good job and could become a great job, maybe even big JOB if he wants it. Keep it coming guys. People are watching.
I got even more excited when i saw the landcruiser 80 series. I want to know more.
How come you guys used a 2k solid instead of the traditional 2 stage paint basecoats nowadays. I know it's cheaper but surely it'll just fade again after awhile as it doesn't have strong UV protection. Guessing it was for time reason but still a good paint job though. Unfortunately I missed this at shedfest :(
Fab work Ryan and Steve loved it I may get u guys to do my mini for me if u could
Not a BMW fan buth thats gorgeous Well done Gang!
Great job. I was anxious watching that anvil on a stand next to the car.
Fantastic work guys. Roger looks sensational. I was surprised how subdued Alex was when he saw it. Just a thought but would it be a good idea to lift the car up so people can see the work underneath too?
He was fairly gutsy turning that gun fan parallel to the top of that wing/fender when spraying, lol.
The lads are going full ham.
325i touring one of my favourite motors from years ago
I love the car. but after all that work i think it could have done with a bit of a jazzing up paint wise. maybe be a pearl over the red.
I had a ropey one of these with an lsd and azevs.❤❤
Curious as to why you didn't take the windows out to spray it? Considering the collosal amount of work you've done underneath, taking the windows out wouldnt be a big job.
