Between the energy drinks and the milk thing in the other episode, I'm beginning to think Nigel's stomach has been through more abuse from weird liquids than his glassware.
Daniel literally had the entire world in the palm of his hands, everything that every teenage boy has ever dreamed of, the love story that makes everybody jealous, and my man kissed her knee. You poor thing.
You guys really need to advertise this podcast more on your socials or your channels. This is way too much fun that most of your audience has no idea about.
Regarding the brown note discussion, I think the device you guys are looking for is a "rotary woofer." It's essentially a fan in a duct between two volumes, with variable-pitch blades like an airplane propeller. You modulate the blades' pitch at low frequencies, and that produces very low-frequency sound waves at a reasonable intensity.
Haha the knee kissing story reminded me of one of the h3 crew members talking about and awkward teen moment where he was kissing a girl's arm and didn't realize it. It was like the same story and outcome, just a different body part lmao.
Nigel's story about having so much social anxiety that he didn't want to go to school is way more relatable than I expected. In the past I've tried to explain that so many times to people around me, but I just thought it was me being too weird because no one understood what I meant. xD
Honestly, Daniel being here is a surprising but very welcome crossover. Please bring him back in the future. Also, this has been one of the best episodes so far. Keep it up!
It is so F**king cute that Chelsey not only notice he was cleaning but actually was impressed with it. Caretaker is awesome, she must be protected at all costs.
Ive had terrible depression and anxiety for a long time. If i drink one cup of weak coffee, i feel like my heart will stop. Anxiety and coffee is a terrible combo.
Same, last time i drank coffee was in a restaurant because we got locked out of the house, but that’s unrelated lol, I choose Today’s Choice which turns out is a straight black…and needless to say it wasn’t a great outing hah
For me, combining Coffee & L-Theanine worked. It‘s pretty much tea extract and it counters the negative effects of coffee (sweating, increased heart rate, nervousness). But it sounds like you should stay away from coffee completely
if there's a real instrument that can do the brown noise, it's a pipe organ. Pipe organs are built into buildings and plumbed with bellows that originally had to be manually run (in cathedrals etc that these were originally invented in), but modern pipe organs run motorized air pumps to achieve their sound through the pipes that are sized to each note's specific size of sound wave- with the biggest, going from memory, I think is about a meter wide at the widest point in the pipe organ at the sydney opera house, which I think is the biggest in the world, or was at some point- it'd be a cool collaboration to see you guys make a brown note pipe for them to run at the sydney opera house on their pipe organ, complete with a key to play it, but it's a hell of a project to do innit
I've done full frequency sweeps 0-20Hz at above 90dB (sometimes above 110) - the brown note is a myth. 1.5Hz at 100 dB, though, feels like you're having a heart attack. Check out the "TRW-17" for more info.
@@Srfingfreak oh I agree totally, the mythbusters actually did a decent job on this I think, but it's a fun thing to see them fully debunk again from the ground up, or maybe the mythbusters and everybody else were wrong all along and they'll do it- who knows, let them have their fun in the interest of showing the process of figuring things out on youtube for everybody to learn from.

Holy cow! Nigel just described the *exact* way I made breakfast for almost three months. Eventually, I graduated to bagel and creamcheese, but I will never forget the 30sec microwaved hotdog.
During winter my car got stuck on a small incline leading to a parking lot, my tires kept slipping. Then, a random guy showed up, he helped me push my car up. I didn't know how to respond so I just told him "Uh, no, sorry, I just moved here." The dude looked genuinly disapointed and said "Dang, oh well, god bless." and he walked off.
Do you know how hard you guys make it to not audibly die laughing at work? Also I'm now afraid of all the repressed gringy memories that are going to start bubbling up now thanks to this unexpected therapy session. So thanks for that. Seriously though good shit.
The pocket hot dog wrapping back around to the microwave hot dog discussion from a few episodes ago then devolving into sticking metal spoons in a microwave is such a good nonsense conversation I love it.

PSA: Most modern microwaves clearly state that you MUST put a spoon in the cup/glass if you heat up water. It is a hard rule. Otherwise you can superheat the water and it can explode up into your face and burn you badly when you take it out and disturb it with a spoon, teaspoon, or just motion so it can superboil out with a boiling water projectile.
