One of my favourite courses in the world. I’ve eagled both the 6th and the 17th so this place has a special place in my heart. Mind you I have played the course some 30-40 times. Can’t wait to visit it again post COVID.
Great video. Having played Hollinwell numerous times it still doesn’t fail to impress me , the 2nd and 14th are great holes and 17, 18 are two superb finishing holes. Open qualifying course.
If you ever get back to Hollinwell then be sure to visit Sherwood Forest G.C (just a few miles away)!! Two incredible courses in one area! Put a pin on your map!
A shame you didn’t have some more free time to play the other two gems within 15 mins of Hollinwell - Coxmoor and Sherwood Forest. Having enjoyed watching NLU content for a while this is the first course I’ve viewed having played. Cool to see your perspective on a wonderful course I had the pleasure of playing at regularly as a junior!
@@gtaylor9218 But if the video exists by 1 entity (i.e. NLU), then why does others feel the need to copy the exact same content (i.e. EAL) and pass it off as "original" content?
allyloogs sounds like they want to showcase their course to those people from around the world that wouldn’t normally get to play their course. I think he is just saying “hey, you can play this course too if you’re here”.
Hidden gems. That's what so appealing about golf.

Superb course, very friendly members.
Saying he “left a few out there” after a 76 is very on brand for solly
Gyan Bains He said he left a few out there at Formby after a 67
@@andrewtan5442 Formby Ladies Club. A 5,300 yard course with a course rating of 66. Keep up!
@@NoLayingUp Fair enough, but 67 is 67

Appreciate the map view!! 7,250 from the tips - that’s a tough test!

Halifax GC. I’m just putting it out there for you.
Most underrated club in England. Hope you make it there 👍
If you liked this course, you’d love Sutton Coldfield GC. Worth the visit.
Great track
You need to get to Ganton and Lindrick @soly
Nice. Ps Derby is pronounced dar-be

Its a great course, comes recommended by all the people I know who've played there.....on my list
This series is just awesome content from NLU. How long before EAL and Barstool copy this idea verbatim as well?
6 months. They did the same thing with Cabot
Jack Kearns what i found funny and sad was EAL even went to The Duck Inn in Kilspindie. No shame out of him.

11 gives me Erin Hills #12 vibes
This may be my favorite NLU series. No Neil=Grown Up Content
Watching Soly run is how I envision someone who read a Wikihow article on how to run. Crack. On!

'Tight, tight piece of property' belongs to another, don,t you think?
Looks like a place where you'd want to bring an 18 gauge and a pointer in case some nice pheasant appeared in the gorse
Derby = DARBY🤣
Solly, you look really tired. And even though it is spelled Derby, it’s pronounced Dar-bee.
