What an awesome video. Love the content on this channel. It makes me laugh when people are upset with double bogey when im happy I dont lose a golf ball on a hole. Keep up the fantastic videos!
90 is alright round there mate. I reckon you need to club up on approach shots - use that back of green number and dont be afraid to use more irons off the tee, 160 yards down the middle is way better than 200 in the trees!
Was going to say exactly the same. Like on the 303 yard par 4, nothing wrong with 8 iron off the tee and another 8 into the green. Proper challenging course though! Well played!
Another great session Luke. Very entertaining. Not sure how far your rights were, but the rough looked punitive. Surprisingly thick given all the mature trees lining the course. Groundspeople must be top notch.
Thanks for sharing your round. Not your best but not your worst either. Some pretty good shots mixed in there, especially the third shot out of the knee-high rough on No. 11. High degree of difficulty.
@@UpDownGolf 🤣 Ouch makes me feel old you have to pay homage to the greats of the game if you get chance you walked straight past the tree and the plaque without even noticing them 😔
@@UpDownGolf my fade happens as I progress maybe after the fourth tee. Seems to be a pattern there. Anyway don't let it worry you, your games are very good to watch.
you might be releasing too late on your D/3W off the tee presenting an open cf & push/fading erry'ting right ... currently enjoying the same issue myself
That was tough mate , I went oot for a wee 9 the day and had a shocker pal 🤦♂️ but I suppose u gotta take the good wi the bad and as an auld friends says “don’t get angry because your not good enuf to get angry” 😎 keep the heed big lad ⛳️🏴👍🏻
In the same time that you’ve gone from 20 => 9 handicap I’ve gone from 28 => 40 … nice one ! You know if you had less upper body rotation and more core/glute engagement I think you could unlock huge distance and get to scratch easily
It's hard to answer that question mate. Depends on a few things (how good you are, how much you normally spend etc). I thought it was a great course and would definitely play it again
Hello and I'm the guy that sees the small ish and I'm not seeing anything you learned from GRF. Seems you have a neutral grip and you're standing up as soon as you hit when you should keep a slight bend as if you're looking behind the ball. Standing up will send it right for right and left for me. I've used the GRF stuff w/o buying the kit, I'm not breaking single digits, but my ball flight and scores have changed and dropped and I have confidence as to what causes a draw for cut which equals me having more confidence and feeling the club head and where I want it behind me depending on strong, weak or neutral grip. You may need to bow your wrist on the way down just a little whereas Dennis should not because his grip seems strong. Let us know which grip all of you use. Including Fentz with that wackly slice that seems to be straightening which speaks to he maybe taking lessons?
Very interesting to see that 6300 yards is a long course in england. My home course back here in germany is at around 6800 yards from normal yellow tees 🫠
Wow! Who is the very beautiful camera woman you’ve been hiding from us??? She’s on the wrong side of the camera! lol. Please give her a club and let her take a crack at it. Subscribers will reach a million in no time! Tough course you picked. Love to see a match with you and Dennis too. Always enjoy your content! Thank you.
Subscriber challenge still on offer, i'm am member at Rotherham Golf Club, be my guests in a challenge? I am off 9 too. Course is in great condition right now too:)
9 hcp? Looks like someone got found out. 6300 yards is not even long. Those Yorkshire parkland tracks must be skewing everyone's handicaps up there lol
Honestly mate, people like you are so boring. I'm assuming you play to your handicap every round? The whole point of this channel is to give a realistic view of what golf is like. Social media is full of ego golf, I'm not looking to add to that. Please watch someone else if you want to see that sort of thing 👋
Open qualifying at Fulford next week. The rough is far more punative than it looks. And no hole has a bail out option on to an adjacent fairway for a bad tee shot so a bad shot often cost you 2 shots. It's tough.
Really enjoy what you do, always looking forward to the next vid keep up the great work 👍
Thanks Mark! Appreciate it

I think that's a very sensible approach at at course like this tbh mate 👍

Really enjoyable video. Lovely course and I think you did pretty well on an unfamiliar track 👍🏼
My guy Humble 👊
I was that last week, White tees 96...
It can get you can't it
Fulford is quite close to me but never played it! Always wanted to though! Looks good! Great video to mate!
Cheers Chris! The course is a belter mate
Really enjoyable - Well played.
Cheers as always Mark!
Always enjoy seeing you and Dennis play! Where is Fents! Need a Fents challenge soon!
Thanks Picker! He's injured his wrist so he's not really playing at the moment
@@UpDownGolf injured wrist ! 🤣
Beautiful course enjoyed viewing 👍
Thanks Jamie. It’s a great course
Another great video! Throwing darts with that sand wedge 🎯
Thanks dude! Only club I got going on the day

Cheers Bilal! Yeah it was hard going if you missed the fairway although some of my rights were verryyy right 😅
really enjoyed the round ... difficult course to struggle with driver ...overall some really shots cheers:)
Picked the worst course to not have driver I think 😅 Thanks dude!
Thanks for sharing your round. Not your best but not your worst either.

Thanks Kedbuka! Yeah totally agree with you
Class as always, mate. Scratch by the end of the year IMO 👀
It's about time you show up again, and show em how the chipper-ing is done 🙂
Agreed Kamil 👀
You should do a visit down South and try your game at Broadstone GC in Dorset, another top 100 club and it's very unique!
Thanks for the recommendation 👍
Why no mention of the Langer tree ?
I wasn't alive in 1981

Played yesterday on a very wet course north of Sydney. Only one par in 9 holes. My fade, just like yours, off the tee, did not help.
Ahh it's hindered me on a few rounds recently now too Richard. Some practice required I think

your short game is insane!
Sometimes Pickle 😅
Luke, when did you last upload a video as I am sure I saw one today but when I go on your channel this is the last one!
Hey! No video from me this week but there is one on JonnyPlaysGolf that I filmed with him 👍

I think you could be right Keh
@@UpDownGolf had a lesson since, wasn't clearing my hips properly... currently enjoying a soft draw... those PGA pros know their shiz
Fun to Watch. I recognice myself. Difficult course.
Thanks for watching!
Fulford is so hard, I don't think 90 is horrendous by any stretch. Your short game was sensational as well 👍
Cheers Jonny. Not as bad as it could have been shall we say 👀

Very true Jambo! Appreciate it mate
No need to use provisional on hole 14, red stakes, if its in che water just drop and wedge it over on the green🤝
I didn’t even spot that when editing 🤦♂️ good shout!
Think you got the handicap from the same lucky bag as fents 😂 keep the great vids coming Luke
😂 Ssshhhh! Don't tell him

Thanks Chris! Yeah agreed. I find it really difficult to feel like I’m genuinely involving my lower body in the swing
At 17 is when you need a 3 iron-well played and good driving, out right but good, worked
Thanks Oliver!
The "JESUS CHRIST" @ 3:42 😂😂😂
One of them days 😅
Working near fulford at the minute. It’s like 100 quid a round I think. Would you say it’s worth it? Nice round by the way👍🏻

I will try it out I think but wait for some better weather. Like everywhere else it’s probably taken a beating?

Wow that would be a monster over here Marv (for me anyway!)
Dude if you would have even played close to that 18th hole all day wow what a difference it would have made..👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I know. How frustrating is it when you think something clicks right at the end 🤦
Just say index😅
Great video!
😅 You're not the first person to call that out. Is it a golf faux pas? Thanks 👍
@UpDownGolf nah not really, just preference i guess, keep up the good work brother!
You should consider that your setup favors a right aim point. Your normal good swing tends to flare a bit right. JMO
Appreciate it 👍
If you're stepping up to a putt and second guessing it you need to align the ball with your dominant eye
Hhmm interesting cheers 👍
If your Driver is going right… Why don’t you play the shot shape your playing that day ?
Yeah I definitely should have done. I tried to change the shape and it didn’t work
Looks like you had a tree magnet day Luke, you’ll better that score next time you play there
I cannot think of a more fitting term Paul 😂

Not a good hole on the par 5 (double bogey)? I had a 12 today on a par 5, THAT’S a bad hole!

You know you can’t use your -9 handicap from the Putt Putt course on a regulation course…😜😜🤣🤣🤣

Dennis should have known better than standing in the kill zone. Honestly some people deserve a lesson from Mr White.
Poor lad nearly had no teeth
It’s 99 in England, not the UK. It’s also not that great.
Ah I right enjoyed tbh
