8:32 "in the deserted quarry behind his house, he rides his motorcycle, an avid trials rider, his wife an avid spectator.." ahhh the simple life of the past.
i worked on the Beryl Alpha and Bravo in the early 90's. Good places to work, nice people and very comfortable compared to a lot of rigs/platforms. Miss it and i don't at the same time.
Wow. Nostalgia! Is it possible for me to use and share this footage on my youtube page? I share footage from all kind of activities on our ocean. Cargo ships in the 1960s till now, oil rigs, fishing vessels, etc. Of course full credit will be given to the owner of the footage. Looking forward to your reply. Kind regards. Cheers.
I have no issues. It does not belong to me. The video was produced written and directed for Mobil by Michael Forlong. I found it on a video CD disc and uploaded it to UA-cam. I thought it might be of interest to others. Note: I think there was a copyright issue on some of the music but as I do not generate income it has not been a problem.
