Also for "Ransom", any chance the Mobile versions have a higher res version of the texture? Or, knowing them with textures, it'd probably just be multiplied 4 times across the sheet lol
Great video. For me, the most interesting one was being able to drive the RC Bandit. My jaw dropped when I saw that! Here's something I learned during my Chaos Mod playthrough of this game: if the driver of the Bobcat gets out during "Evidence Dash", the game says it's a decoy and another one spawns elsewhere.
Great video! I never knew you could physically drive an RC Bandit, with Claude driving it! I know this game is looked down upon by a lot of people, but it's one of my favourite games of all time. I was 14 when it came out in 2001 and I play it at least once a year. It's just the perfect comfort game to me.
Hello and thanks for the shoutout. Just wanted to add about the Unique Ghost. You can "enter it" after it's stored in the Garage, even on PCSX2, but even that will crash the game. However, if you play the Definitive Edition, you can not only store it and keep it forever without problems, you can also ENTER IT. But it's not what you'd think. Stand near it, press Triangle, and teleport into it, like all other Boats. You have to actually open a "hidden door" on the OUTER RIGHT HAND SIDE LIP of the Boat. The Video of obtaining it (on DE) is in my Guide, of course, and at the end of the Video, I show how to open the door and re-enter it. It's quite amusing. You can also obtain it on PS4 Digital Version of GTA III. Does not crash the game. A Video exists of that, too, but not on my Channel. Just pointing that out. And, to teleport into that Rhino during Arms Shortage "quickly" at least in my case, means you don't go over to Phil. You must not have him speak to Claude before you try teleporting in. It's a bit easier to push the Rhino on foot a bit forward, to the crates in front of it, blocking the driver side door, then using a random Car you drove there with to block the passenger side door. Then stand in front/behind it, teleport in with Triangle. If I talk to Phil FIRST, before teleporting into it, it never works for me, and/or takes a longer time.
I would suspect this is because the mobile ports did a cheap fix for the crash by using a random vehicle as a template, or falling back to some automobile specific code in whatever code path was crashing. Interesting trivia though!
Wow thanks for the explanation about the Ghost! That's awesome. Since recording this video, I've heard that you can enter it on the PS2 version by parking the RC Bandit underneath it (like I've shown in my most recent video with Catalina's helicopter).
@@MattJ155 Entering it =/= Storing it and flying it, are very different things, unfortunately. I've seen it being entered already on another Channel, but it didn't spark my interest. Yes, using the RC Bandit underneath it, allows you to "enter it" but that's *all that you will do with it.* If you are getting your kicks out of this one in GTA III, that you can't fly or store/keep in a Garage and actually "obtain it," then I highly recommend and suggest looking into the Police Maverick from a 3 Star Wanted Level (called "Helicopter" in game, just like this one here) in GTA Liberty City Stories, since, it's obtainable and can be used after the fact. There's even a Hunter in LCS that you can obtain from a Mission and stuff without Cheats, if you didn't know that already, as well, and much, much more. That's what my Channel is all about, trying to make FULL Guides and not for just one or two GTA's, but TEN of them. If you plan to cover *them all* then expect to have over *1,000 Videos* with ease and I still have work that is left to do, lol...It never ends as stuff evolves over time and new Methods and stuff are found. Fun Fact - You can drive/fly all of the RC Vehicles in the same way in Vice City, too. A lot more fun on DE because the game doesn't crash when you enter/exit them, like it WILL DO if you use them on PS2 and stuff. Gotta teleport IN and teleport OUT of them in order for the game not to crash. But yeah, all of these things I am speaking about are on my Channel for six years or less, but mostly from a long time ago.
I could watch 10hrs of this and never get bored! also your voice is pretty soothing which makes the video pretty relaxing! it complements the GTA3 vibe pretty well.
Ive seen little to no mention that the big truck in Arms Shortage is bulletproof and it saves its bulletproofnes in your garage, so add that to you list of how to get to the airport in Marked Man
On PC you don’t have to save two stingers because you can simply double-tap F1 (replay) and there’s something like a 25% chance it will swap optional parts on/off. If it doesn’t work, double-tap again until it does. This includes the stinger’s roof, patriot bed cover, stallion roof, etc.
Was aware of some of these to begin with but not that many, just from playing it. I honestly wanted to try a strategy where during Espresso to go I'd drive something fast through the underground tunnels, but not to great effect. Might have been my execution but it took you too far away from the stalls.
Fun fact: The destroyed Sentinel in the introduction seems to be based off a earlier model of the Mafia Sentinel iirc, the blue color scheme is because earlier in developement, it was a beta police car model with the blue and white color scheme, I never understood why it was changed from a police car to a sentinel. PS: I think the destroyed enforcer silver paint job might be a missing texture issue but I’m not 100% sure.

I know NakeyJakey has been quoted to death, but seriously, watching this and seeing all the cool ways you can complete a mission...it's just so good. If you complete the objective in a way that makes sense, you should be allowed to (in making sense I mean for instance like how you can't kill all of kenjis goons because then there will be no witnesses.)
One thing I do realise for the opening cutscene heist is that Claude uses a completely different model that has the shotgun permanently attached to him That and he has more facial animations than normal, which I wish was kept in his normal cutscene model tbh lol
Gta vice city next please matt, it has untold mission hacks & facts 🌴 there's loads to uncover & would make a great mini series on the channel just like III has.
I’ve played Gta III for over 500 hours in total and even I didn’t knew about some of these features. I like that you use the tank cheat to experience in what they game will do in the scripted instance to see what will happen just like your previous video. And the original ps2 version is slightly different when it comes to the Windows/Steam version of the game with some minor changes in scripting + removed ps2 features like you showed years ago in your older videos. What version do you prefer the most for ps2? 1,40 or 1,60 because I bought 1,40 because I like the beta dodo fly path more because it’s longer and goes through all islands.

1:07:23 you don't have to leave the door open. The game always won't despawn the first car you get into a session. You can even steal just one more car, drive it all around the map and the first car will be where you left it. Just as long as you didn't get into a 3rd car.
CIA? That's not true Matt. Asuka talks about the FBI, not CIA in the PC Version of Grand Theft Auto 3. Also, i swear to god. Switch to the newest stable version of PCSX2 which is 2.0.2 (unless you want to try the nightly bulids).
