He had a hurt hand and he said that but after that he whined on Twitter and in interviews and then when ppl didn’t agree with him saying he finessed he got mad took his ball and went home (retired) I spent a whole month telling my friends how good he was and how they should watch his fight. And then he backed up and didn’t engage for a lot of the fight and regardless of how much of a purist you are fighting on a Wednesday/Thursday having to stay up past 12 and have to go work the next day it wore on and it was boring. Tank’s ring IQ is pretty exceptional, so it’s clearly not a factor in what makes Shakur boring and Tank exciting to casuals. I think it boils down to charisma and marketability. But I don’t think it would favor Shakur to assume a personality that deviates his own to boost popularity ratings. The kid is the best in his division and with the right opportunities down the road he’ll prove just that.

Usually like Paulie’s takes but came off as a complete daft idiot on this segment. Tank’s ring IQ is pretty exceptional, so it’s clearly not a factor in what makes Shakur boring and Tank exciting to casuals. I think it boils down to charisma and marketability. But I don’t think it would favor Shakur to assume a personality that deviates his own to boost popularity ratings. The kid is the best in his division and with the right opportunities down the road he’ll prove just that.
I almost always learn things watching certain boxers, Shakur is one of them. It’s rare that I learn anything watching Tank, I don’t learn shit watching Haney.

Shakur is very talented but its not a matter of skills or talent which Shakur has. Its his overly cautious style. His style and ring mentality are different than his talent lvl.
