      oh man i recited this poem in english class and wrote an essay about it in english class. the moment i read the first line, the memories came flooding back, back when the horrible stuff from 2020 wasn't a worry yet, when we could have fun with friends without worrying about high school, then college. good times.

    • @CeCe1066
      @CeCe1066 3 роки тому +4

      @@HeHe-ir3we well the two phrases alone can be interpreted a bit generally. Idk I can see someone interpreting it as not giving up despite various hardships (someone with more eloquence can probably describe it better lmao). But the other lines in the og comment provide more context by describing the balance between death and life, although imo it emphasizes life through the last line “rage against the dying of the night”. It’s very clearly a poem about dying though

    • @ethanvanatta1729
      @ethanvanatta1729 3 роки тому +14

      @@HeHe-ir3we The poem was written by Dylan Thomas, for his father who was on his death bed. The lines mean (in a VERY simplified manner) “Don’t let death easily take you, continue fighting against it”. Thomas intended it as words of encouragement for his father.
      The name of the poem (or villanelle) is the same as the opening line, and is worth reading and dissecting each meaning. One of my favorite assignments I had in high school.

    I listened to your rendition of this back 6 years ago, and the audio was kinda choppy, but when I saw this I knew it was going to be clear, it shows your progression thru time, and how much you have improved Ibi, and I can sit back and experience this at 100%

    This is stunningly beautiful, the music but for me especially the visuals. Amazing colour grading and perfectly framed shots and angles. I wish you would have used the second camera a bit more, but it seems to have been a second take. Beautiful regardless!

    How do you get such a soothing tone from the low end?!? its absolutely memorizing the raw sub from the piano. I think i found my favorite piano, my original was the Roon Piano from Metropolis ark 2.
