Someone mentioned how this reminds them of us waiting on the last grain of sand in an hourglass, and it reminded me of one of my residents at the nursing home I work at. She’s so small and old and frail, and so so sweet; but she’s just waiting for that last grain of sand so she can see her husband again after so long. Sometimes it feels like she’s ready to go, and you can tell some mornings as she slips further into her dimension that she really thinks he’s there with her. Sometimes I like to think that he actually is.

This song reminds me of the time my best friend and I were at the beach together at night. We sat with our feet in the water and stared at the stars. Neither of us wanted to lay in the sand but we didn’t care that our necks hurt from looking up. It was so beautiful and mesmerising. All the memories we shared and the jokes we made I’ll never forget. She helped me through so much. I miss her everyday but things are getting better. I’m becoming the person I knew she wanted me to be.

Ibi, after 36 hours of labor, I naturally birthed my daughter. This song was on my birth playlist. After it played for the first time, I asked my partner to put it on repeat. We listened to it for 6 hours straight, through a hospital transfer and my entire birth team cheering me on through pushing for 3 hours. YOUR music helped me calmly bring my daughter into the world. This is good. I am sure that the ending “but here, it’s soft . And smooth,” does not provide me with the thoughts or feelings you might have felt when writing it. I heard this song for the first time in a world in VRChat during the worst time of my life. Using VRChat as a way for me to escape the real world and express myself in a new one and hearing this song every time I logged on really helped me think about how I was feeling and who I am. In other words, thank you so much for this powerful performance.

Same thing happened to me. During the pandemic I started to play VRC to overcome my social anxiety and the song made me so calm when hearing it the first time in `Spirits of the Sea`. Today I have so many good friends in the game. Whenever I return to the world I am happy this song is still playing and it makes me grateful and nostalgic about all things that happened.

We all have different languages and everyone has their own perception. However, this piece of art evokes a feeling of melancholy, coldness yet not too cold, as if you are floating in the water which is cold yet bearable and you have no strength to leave it as it is comfortable and also uncomfortable at the same time in a lot of us.
I call a lot of things beautiful. I do this whenever I really like something, and sometimes all these things may not deserve that label. But to your videos, all of them, I mean that word in it's most pure sense.

I can imagine the scene that I was standing alone at the empty seashore far from my hometown, I gave my look to million stars beyond the foreign sky (different from my hometown) and then looked back to the long seashore fullfiled by sands. Loneliness, sadness, nostalgia, smallness... cosmos is infinite but my life is not, oneday I will be covered by sands and my existence will disapear. It is when I am laying down in bed, closing my eyes, hearing nothing but those ever so gentle and well placed notes and giving into the music, that I feel at ease. A soft smelling and timid dancing candle fills the room with a golden shimmer. Notes tickling different areas of my brain. I can see myself grasping and smelling the earthy moss I lay in, absorbing the summer woods. I notice the nightingales vivid tales. Little creatures wandering in their little world, scratching and burrowing in the ground. I notice that they can never comprehend what I am feeling and think about life itself. I let those thoughts float through my mind, until they are no more. The air is fresh, but still warm and the giant bulb of fire is beginning to set. I listen to one more rustling leaf, feel one more soft breeze, watch the clouds get carried away and slowly return to reality.
Sometimes, it feels as though my music goes unheard, lost in the vast silence of the world. Yet, the pull to compose never fades, for this art is the language of the soul, its only way of speaking. Even in the quiet, the heart continues to pour out melodies, knowing that, perhaps, one day, someone will listen and feel the echoes of this unspoken journey.

Yesterday I found out that my parents are going to be separated. After I told my friend she sent me this video and it helped me release the emotions that I have been holding in and now I’m really glad that I have this to help with my emotions. Just remember no ones life is perfect.
I watched this video so many times but I don't think I've ever commented about how at peace these sounds make me feel. Hearing the workings of the piano add to it in a way that I've never experienced or enjoyed as much as this video before. Someone mentioned how this reminds them of us waiting on the last grain of sand in an hourglass, and it reminded me of one of my residents at the nursing home I work at. She’s so small and old and frail, and so so sweet; but she’s just waiting for that last grain of sand so she can see her husband again after so long. Sometimes it feels like she’s ready to go, and you can tell some mornings as she slips further into her dimension that she really thinks he’s there with her. Sometimes I like to think that he actually is.

This song reminds me of the time my best friend and I were at the beach together at night.
We sat with our feet in the water and stared at the stars. Neither of us wanted to lay in the sand but we didn’t care that our necks hurt from looking up.
It was so beautiful and mesmerising. All the memories we shared and the jokes we made I’ll never forget. She helped me through so much. I miss her everyday but things are getting better.
I’m becoming the person I knew she wanted me to be.

Ibi, after 36 hours of labor, I naturally birthed my daughter. This song was on my birth playlist. After it played for the first time, I asked my partner to put it on repeat. We listened to it for 6 hours straight, through a hospital transfer and my entire birth team cheering me on through pushing for 3 hours. YOUR music helped me calmly bring my daughter into the world. Same thing happened to me. During the pandemic I started to play VRC to overcome my social anxiety and the song made me so calm when hearing it the first time in `Spirits of the Sea`.
Today I have so many good friends in the game. Whenever I return to the world I am happy this song is still playing and it makes me grateful and nostalgic about all things that happened.

We all have different languages and everyone has their own perception. However, this piece of art evokes a feeling of melancholy, coldness yet not too cold, as if you are floating in the water which is cold yet bearable and you have no strength to leave it as it is comfortable and also uncomfortable at the same time in a lot of us.

I can imagine the scene that I was standing alone at the empty seashore far from my hometown, I gave my look to million stars beyond the foreign sky (different from my hometown) and then looked back to the long seashore fullfiled by sands. Loneliness, sadness, nostalgia, smallness... cosmos is infinite but my life is not, oneday I will be covered by sands and my existence will disapear. The stars continue mesmerizing human being like the way "Some sand" did.

For any tear you've shed in sadness, you deserve ten times the tears of joy.
It is when I am laying down in bed, closing my eyes, hearing nothing but those ever so gentle and well placed notes and giving into the music, that I feel at ease. A soft smelling and timid dancing candle fills the room with a golden shimmer. Notes tickling different areas of my brain. I can see myself grasping and smelling the earthy moss I lay in, absorbing the summer woods. I notice the nightingales vivid tales. Little creatures wandering in their little world, scratching and burrowing in the ground. I notice that they can never comprehend what I am feeling and think about life itself. I let those thoughts float through my mind, until they are no more. The air is fresh, but still warm and the giant bulb of fire is beginning to set. I listen to one more rustling leaf, feel one more soft breeze, watch the clouds get carried away and slowly return to reality.
It's actually quite pleasant to watch the hammers of the piano move according to the keys you press.
Sometimes, it feels as though my music goes unheard, lost in the vast silence of the world. Yet, the pull to compose never fades, for this art is the language of the soul, its only way of speaking. Even in the quiet, the heart continues to pour out melodies, knowing that, perhaps, one day, someone will listen and feel the echoes of this unspoken journey.
No matter what happens, even if we lose our memory our soul will remember everything. When I was alone I found this channel and you helped me get through the dark times. Now they started again. My life is on the edge every moment and my loved ones are in a lot of trouble too. Now I'm here again. I forgot about this place and it feels like I returned home from a long journey. Even if it won't get better, even if my life might end while i'm writing this, I will never forget again.

When I hear this, I think about what could’ve been. Lying on my bed at the end of the night, think of all the “what if”s and what could’ve happened, and how just a tiny little thing could’ve changed and turned everything around. I think about all the events in the past, the regrets, the sorrows, and all the tough days, or maybe even happy days that led to this very day.
When I hear a pianist play it’s usually like” Ok this is fine nothing really special about it,” but you make the sound resonate in its beauty. This is a real talent wether you practice 15 hours a day or not.

I love how ambiguous this piece is. It is easy to enjoy and to immerse oneself in. It's so very beautiful in its simplicity. It's contemplative and very gently sad. It's like that gentle place between sleep and being awake.

This piece always reminds me of the wonderful times I have had in VRChat. This song was once used in a very special world I'd always go to hang out with friends. Yesterday I found out that my parents are going to be separated. After I told my friend she sent me this video and it helped me release the emotions that I have been holding in and now I’m really glad that I have this to help with my emotions. Just remember no ones life is perfect.
How things work out
I watched this video so many times but I don't think I've ever commented about how at peace these sounds make me feel. Hearing the workings of the piano add to it in a way that I've never experienced or enjoyed as much as this video before. It's truly beautiful, I have to be careful not to listen to it so much that I become desensitized and don't appreciate it anymore.
Time is sand. This music reminds me of past times..something beautiful and forgotten.

Having an acoustic upright, instead of a digital piano, is significantly better in terms of sound. Furthermore the visual aesthetic of the key mechanism in action is wonderful as well.
