I've been a fan of Disturbed since their beginning and a lot of their sound has always felt like frustration at the world but in their more modern version the frustration feels more focused and pointed. I love this band, love their music and loved your heartfelt reaction to it. We love you sister!
Excellent reaction, Disturbed said this song actually was inspired by Russia attacking Ukraine, but applies to any bad person abusing their power and hurting innocents. ✌️

Oh man, I love metal but I haven't listened to this band since middle school. I'm so glad you posted this. Being a Jew from Russia with family in Israel, this one just hit different.
this is Disturbed. I know a lot of people know them por "The sound of silence", but their are heavy in the topics and the music.

The messages Disturbed is able to tell through their music is on an entirely different level but add a video showing the story and its message gets sent into orbit It is unreal. Then there are their live shows oh wow. They are something that can't be described. They must be experienced. Putin's invasion of ukraine was the inspiration for the song so it makes sense it hit you like that. I'm sorry you have to go through that. I cannot imagine what that must be like.

I believe, not think, this wasn’t and didn’t win a Grammy is because of the criticism of the Military Industrial Complex. Too political and too real therefore never had a chance. But because Metallica is a bigger name they win Their song is nowhere near as good as Disturbed. Just my opinion of course.
