This is the nicest thing you could do for her, second only to adopting her. Being in a shelter for her whole life until becoming your cat was not what a cat’s life should be. It’s a holding and waiting place. You’re giving her the best of the best! You have a good heart!

My rescue lab doesn’t have fur on half his body from his previous severe neglect and understandably gets cold in the winter. So he has a full wardrobe lol. Everyone thinks I’m crazy for getting my 100lb dog sweaters/coats etc until I tell them that he’s half naked lol. So in short, I agree that kitty deserves a condo 😂

There is good crazy and bad crazy. Bad crazy does bad things and hurts people. Good crazy does good things that makes people smile, even laugh. Making. a cat condo under the stairs is firmly in the good crazy basket. Giving the cat a private space is a good thing. Making it into a human like living area is so extra that it is crazy. 😂❤
There's always someone on the Internet that is judgmental or disagrees with what you do..but do you girl and if I had the chance to do that for my cat I would he's the laziest cat ever and I love it id love to give him a place to lounge away from our puppy but it's not in the books for us right but don't listen and do you ❤
Make sure you add a little Air Purifier in that small area too. Bad for her health (and yours too) to smell the ammonia if you miss a scoop sesh lol 😆 Small spaces trap odors much quicker & there’s no ventilation. 😊
Cute , cleaning the potty box will be a pain in the body to clean. Just a thought for her since she had to live in a cage with a potty box; Keep her area fun for her and put her potty box out of her special place.
I think that it was extremely nice that you built this for her!! You did a fantastic job too!!! I have only one suggestion and that's to maybe paint or cover the concrete wall left. You did a great diy and it's obvious you love your kitty!
