About Sheepdog Response:
Sheepdog Response was founded by Green Beret, Special Forces, Sniper, and former top 5 UFC Middleweight, Tim Kennedy. Tim was also the co-star of Hunting Hitler on the History Channel, and more recently, Hard To Kill, on the Discovery Channel.
People face threats of violence every day, ranging from large-scale terrorism to one-on-one assaults. Most people are unprepared, unequipped, and untrained to respond effectively. This weakness in the flock allows the wolves to attack with great ease and success.
The answer is not more laws. The wolves don’t follow them. We must give the good guys the tools they need to effectively respond to violence. The more Sheepdogs we can train to be truly ready to respond to a mass shooting, terrorist attack, violent mugging or home invasion, the better the chances are that the bad guys will get what they deserve and the good guys will survive. Most people sign up for martial arts or weapons training expecting to learn realistic self-defense, and few get it…
We have developed a curriculum that addresses the skills you need to successfully respond to threats
I like how you include the courtesies of the drill so everybody understands it but also doesn’t feel humiliated when they fail at it the first few times with an oblivious or inconsiderate training partner. That style of teaching makes jiu jitsu seem much more accessible to people that are curious to try it but skeptical to keep training after trying it for a class or two. Great video!
Sounds like someones lost a lung in the background.
I had to go back and listen to it. I was 100% focused on Tim's instruction. Now that I go back and listen I heard it. Yeah dude was either choking on something or had some lung funk going on.
Thanks
Thank you
*Will some1 Please get Mr Coughsman some Water*
I would have kindly requested that the coughing maestro go out of the room and get a green tea with honey or something whilst the class is allowed to commence without the distraction
Jesus, who is hacking up a hairball in the background???
We're working on arm drags as we speak at my BJJ school. Great instruction.
Tim is a great coach. When he speaks I want to listen
Hey coughing guy....maybe excuse yourself from the room. Hahah
Why didn't that guy dying In the background get medical assistance or frog marched out?
Great training 👏
As always, great training material.
Someone should have given that guy in the background a couple of cough drops and cough syrup, or maybe they should have just finished the choke on him.
lol
Should the guy coughing up a storm with COVID-19 be in the room training? 🤣😂
Seriously WTF I could barely hear what Tim was saying with that guy coughing at 100 dB
how many of you guys are still alive after this class? can already see the ventilators
Why is that guy just coughing a storm in there wth 🤣
#smash or #crack 👹🤷🏼♀️🦛
Arm drag covid dude outa there i say.
Thanks Tim you made my day. I'm wearing an NBC mask when required to go into the store and caring bear spray to disperse trouble if needed grappling is risky. Perfect set-up mandatory mask
Old sheepdog dying in the back...
Need some cough medicine?
Once you are on your opponent back I think you have won the fight against at least 90% of your casual opponent. Some training from that position is important of course, but how to get there is much more...
Is there anyway you could do a video on the same subject but for someone who weighs 110# and someone like you could pick me up and throw me around like a rag doll? Chances are I'm not going to be attacked by a toddler. lol
Cant change physics. It's still a good drill. Only so much bjj can do for massive weight, size, age, experience difference.
@@zplitterz true. I didn't think about it like that. Thank you,
You need to duck under the arm, jump up and on to your opponents back and straight to a rear naked choke. I am sure Tim and his coaches would size you with someone or change your attack and defense.
Hey dude who is coughing his lung out….that look of hate from Tim meant either get it together or excuse yourself. Christ almighty.
