I'll have difficult time seeing Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra. Her accent, voice and visually very different. I hate actor changes for same role, it never works.
She does look incredibly different out of costume. Watch her interview right next to Matt Smith on entertainment tonight. They were on full costume and she was rather feminine there.

The narrator is simply respecting another human being instead of being unkind and hateful. At the end of the day, all people want are to be treated with kindness and respect.
