These two seem so fun and funny. I will NEVER get used to plural pronouns being used to describe an individual human being. It is so unsettling. Also, I wish I had been able to understand/catch more than just a few words iterated. Still these two are fun to watch and so very different from their characters on the show.
Using 'they' is grammatically correct to use for one individual n has actually been used for along time for nonbinary people, there are great history texts about it :)!!
It really isn’t. People use singular they all the time without even noticing it. They only raise a fuss over it when it conflicts with their assumptions about an individual’s identity.

I'll have difficult time seeing Emma D'Arcy as Rhaenyra. Her accent, voice and visually very different. I hate actor changes for same role, it never works.
She does look incredibly different out of costume. Watch her interview right next to Matt Smith on entertainment tonight. They were on full costume and she was rather feminine there.
@@mirieshii1948 Yes visuals are big part of it, but for me the biggest aspect of not working is she has heavy British accent and pronounciation way different than what you are used to hear so far. Her voice is also way way deeper.

Yep! Because they/them has been used singularity for a very long time now, and we are no longer living in the 19th century. The narrator is simply respecting another human being instead of being unkind and hateful. At the end of the day, all people want are to be treated with kindness and respect.
